| 5 Now Rebekah was listening when Isaac spoke to his son Esau. | 18 So he went in to his father and said, "My father." And he said, "Here I am. | 19 Jacob said to his father, "I am Esau your firstborn. | 20 But Isaac said to his son, "How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?" He answered, "Because the LORD your God granted me success." | 20 യിസ്ഹാക്ക് തന്റെ മകനോടു: മകനേ, നിനക്കു ഇത്ര വേഗത്തിൽ കിട്ടിയതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്റെ നേർക്കു വരുത്തിത്തന്നു എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു. | 20 इसहाक ने अपके पुत्र से कहा, हे मेरे पुत्र, क्या कारण है कि वह तुझे इतनी जल्दी मिल गया ? उस ने यह उत्तर दिया, कि तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने उसको मेरे साम्हने कर दिया। |
| 21 Then Isaac said to Jacob, "Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, to know whether you are really my son Esau or not." | 21 യിസ്ഹാക്ക് യാക്കോബിനോടു: മകനെ, അടുത്തുവരിക; നീ എന്റെ മകനായ ഏശാവു തന്നേയോ അല്ലയോ എന്നു ഞാൻ തപ്പിനോക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 21 फिर इसहाक ने याकूब से कहा, हे मेरे पुत्र, निकट आ, मैं तुझे टटोलकर जानूं, कि तू सचमुच मेरा पुत्र एसाव है वा नहीं। |
| 22 So Jacob went near to Isaac his father, who felt him and said, "The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau." | 22 യാക്കോബ് തന്റെ അപ്പനായ യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു അടുത്തു ചെന്നു; അവൻ അവനെ തപ്പിനോക്കി: ശബ്ദം യാക്കോബിന്റെ ശബ്ദം; കൈകൾ ഏശാവിന്റെ കൈകൾ തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 22 तब याकूब अपके पिता इसहाक के निकट गया, और उस ने उसको टटोलकर कहा, बोल तो याकूब का सा है, पर हाथ एसाव ही के से जान पड़ते हैं। |
| 23 And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau's hands. So he blessed him. | 23 അവന്റെ കൈകൾ സഹോദരനായ ഏശാവിന്റെ കൈകൾപോലെ രോമമുള്ളവയാകകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തിരിച്ചറിയാതെ അവനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു. | 23 और उस ने उसको नहीं चीन्हा, क्योंकि उसके हाथ उसके भाई के से रोंआर थे। |

| 25 Then he said, "Bring it near to me, that I may eat of my son's game and bless you." | 26 Then his father Isaac said to him, "Come near and kiss me, my son." | 26 പിന്നെ അവന്റെ അപ്പനായ യിസ്ഹാക്ക് അവനോടു: മകനേ, നീ അടുത്തുവന്നു എന്നെ ചുംബിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 26 तब उसके पिता इसहाक ने उस से कहा, हे मेरे पुत्र निकट आकर मुझे चूम। |
| 27 So he came near and kissed him. And Isaac smelled the smell of his garments and blessed him and said, "See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field that the LORD has blessed! | 27 അവൻ അടുത്തുചെന്നു അവനെ ചുംബിച്ചു; അവൻ അവന്റെ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളുടെ വാസന മണത്തു അവനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഇതാ, എന്റെ മകന്റെ വാസന യഹോവ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വയലിലെ വാസനപോലെ. | 27 उस ने निकट जाकर उसको चूमा। और उस ने उसके वोंको सुगन्ध पाकर उसको वह आशीर्वाद दिया, कि देख, मेरे पुत्र का सुगन्ध जो ऐसे खेत का सा है जिस पर यहोवा ने आशीष दी हो : |
| 28 May God give you of the dew of heaven and of the fatness of the earth and plenty of grain and wine. | 28 ദൈവം ആകാശത്തിന്റെ മഞ്ഞും ഭൂമിയുടെ പുഷ്ടിയും അനവധി ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞും നിനക്കു തരുമാറാകട്ടെ. | 28 सो परमेश्वर तुझे आकाश से ओस, और भूमि की उत्तम से उत्तम उपज, और बहुत सा अनाज और नया दाखमधु दे : |
| 29 Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, and blessed be everyone who blesses you!" | 29 വംശങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ സേവിക്കട്ടെ; ജാതികൾ നിന്നെ വണങ്ങട്ടെ; നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു നീ പ്രഭുവായിരിക്ക; നിന്റെ മാതാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ നിന്നെ വണങ്ങട്ടെ. നിന്നെ ശപിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ; നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. | 29 राज्य राज्य के लोग तेरे अधीन हों, और देश देश के लोग तुझे दण्डवत् करें : तू अपके भाइयोंका स्वामी हो, और तेरी माता के पुत्र तुझे दण्डवत् करें : जो तुझे शाप दें सो आप ही स्रापित हों, और जो तुझे आशीर्वाद दें सो आशीष पाएं।। |
| 30 As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, when Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting. | 30 യിസ്ഹാക്ക് യാക്കോബിനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ യാക്കോബ് തന്റെ അപ്പനായ യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഉടനെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ഏശാവ് വേട്ടകഴിഞ്ഞു മടങ്ങിവന്നു. | 30 यह आशीर्वाद इसहाक याकूब को दे ही चुका, और याकूब अपके पिता इसहाक के साम्हने से निकला ही या, कि एसाव अहेर लेकर आ पहुंचा। |
| 31 He also prepared delicious food and brought it to his father. And he said to his father, "Let my father arise and eat of his son's game, that you may bless me." | 31 അവനും രുചികരമായ ഭോജനം ഉണ്ടാക്കി അപ്പന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു അപ്പനോടു: അപ്പൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു മകന്റെ വേട്ടയിറച്ചി തിന്നു എന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 31 तब वह भी स्वादिष्ट भोजन बनाकर अपके पिता के पास ले आया, और उस ने कहा, हे मेरे पिता, उठकर अपके पुत्र के अहेर का मांस खा, ताकि मुझे जी से आशीर्वाद दे। |
| 32 His father Isaac said to him, "Who are you?" He answered, "I am your son, your firstborn, Esau." | 32 അവന്റെ അപ്പനായ യിസ്ഹാക്ക് അവനോടു: നീ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മകൻ, നിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ ഏശാവ് എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു. | 32 उसके पिता इसहाक ने पूछा, तू कौन है ? उस ने कहा, मैं तेरा जेठा पुत्र एसाव हूं। |
| 33 Then Isaac trembled very violently and said, "Who was it then that hunted game and brought it to me, and I ate it all before you came, and I have blessed him? Yes, and he shall be blessed." | 33 അപ്പോൾ യിസ്ഹാക്ക് അത്യന്തം ഭ്രമിച്ചു നടുങ്ങി: എന്നാൽ വേട്ടതേടി എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നവൻ ആർ? നീ വരുംമുമ്പെ ഞാൻ സകലവും തിന്നു അവനെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനുമാകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 33 तब इसहाक ने अत्यन्त यरयर कांपके हुए कहा, फिर वह कौन या जो अहेर करके मेरे पास ले आया या, और मैं ने तेरे आने से पहिले सब में से कुछ कुछ खा लिया और उसको आशीर्वाद दिया ? वरन उसको आशीष लगी भी रहेगी। |
| 34 As soon as Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with an exceedingly great and bitter cry and said to his father, "Bless me, even me also, O my father!" | 34 ഏശാവ് അപ്പന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അതി ദുഃഖിതനായി ഉറക്കെ നിലവിളിച്ചു: അപ്പാ, എന്നെ, എന്നെയും കൂടെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ എന്നു അപ്പനോടു പറഞ്ഞു. | 34 अपके पिता की यह बात सुनते ही एसाव ने अत्यन्त ऊंचे और दु:ख भरे स्वर से चिल्लाकर अपके पिता से कहा, हे मेरे पिता, मुझ को भी आशीर्वाद दे। |
| 35 But he said, "Your brother came deceitfully, and he has taken away your blessing." | 35 അതിന്നു അവൻ: നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ ഉപായത്തോടെ വന്നു നിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം അപഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 35 उस ने कहा, तेरा भाई धूर्तता से आया, और तेरे आशीर्वाद को लेके चला गया। |
| 36 Esau said, "Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me these two times. He took away my birthright, and behold, now he has taken away my blessing." | 37 Isaac answered and said to Esau, "Behold, I have made him lord over you, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants, and with grain and wine I have sustained him.
