| 1 And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. | 1 ദൈവം നോഹയെയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു അവരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ സന്താനപുഷ്ടിയുള്ളവരായി പെരുകി ഭൂമിയിൽ നിറവിൻ. | 1 फिर परमेश्वर ने नूह और उसके पुत्रोंको आशीष दी और उन से कहा कि फूलो-फलो, और बढ़ो, और पृय्वी में भर जाओ। |
| 2 The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. | 2 നിങ്ങളെയുള്ള പേടിയും നടുക്കവും ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ആകാശത്തിലെ എല്ലാ പറവകൾക്കും സകല ഭൂചരങ്ങൾക്കും സുമദ്രത്തിലെ സകലമത്സ്യങ്ങൾക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും; അവയെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 2 और तुम्हारा डर और भय पृय्वी के सब पशुओं, और आकाश के सब पझियों, और भूमि पर के सब रेंगनेवाले जन्तुओं, और समुद्र की सब मछलियोंपर बना रहेगा : वे सब तुम्हारे वश में कर दिए जाते हैं। |
| 3 Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. | 3 ഭൂചരജന്തുക്കളൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ആഹാരം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ; പച്ച സസ്യംപോലെ ഞാൻ സകലവും നിങ്ങൾക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. | 3 सब चलनेवाले जन्तु तुम्हारा आहार होंगे; जैसा तुम को हरे हरे छोटे पेड़ दिए थे, वैसा ही अब सब कुछ देता हूं। |
| 4 But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. | 4 പ്രാണനായിരിക്കുന്ന രക്തത്തോടുകൂടെ മാത്രം നിങ്ങൾ മാംസം തിന്നരുതു. | 4 पर मांस को प्राण समेत अर्यात् लोहू समेत तुम न खाना। |
| 5 And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man. | 5 നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാണാനായിരിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്തത്തിന്നു ഞാൻ പകരം ചോദിക്കും; സകലമൃഗത്തോടും മനുഷ്യനോടും ചോദിക്കും; അവനവന്റെ സഹോദരനോടും ഞാൻ മനുഷ്യന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു പകരം ചോദിക്കും. | 5 और निश्चय मैं तुम्हारा लोहू अर्यात् प्राण का पलटा लूंगा : सब पशुओं, और मनुष्यों, दोनोंसे मैं उसे लूंगा : मनुष्य के प्राण का पलटा मै एक एक के भाई बन्धु से लूंगा। |
| 6 "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image. | 6 ആരെങ്കിലും മനുഷ്യന്റെ രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചാൽ അവന്റെ രക്തം മനുഷ്യൻ ചൊരിയിക്കും; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്വരൂപത്തിലല്ലോ മനുഷ്യനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതു. | 6 जो कोई मनुष्य का लोहू बहाएगा उसका लोहू मनुष्य ही से बहाथा जाएगा क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने मनुष्य को अपके ही स्वरूप के अनुसार बनाया है। |
| 7 And you, be fruitful and multiply, teem on the earth and multiply in it." | 7 ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ സന്താനപുഷ്ടിയുള്ളവരായി പെരുകുവിൻ; ഭൂമിയിൽ അനവധിയായി പെറ്റു പെരുകുവിൻ. | 7 और तुम तो फूलो-फलो, और बढ़ो, और पृय्वी में बहुत बच्चे जन्मा के उस में भर जाओ।। |
| 8 Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him, | 8 ദൈവം പിന്നെയും നോഹയോടും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: | 8 फिर परमेश्वर ने नूह और उसके पुत्रोंसे कहा, |
| 9 "Behold, I establish my covenant with you and your offspring after you, | 9 ഞാൻ, ഇതാ, നിങ്ങളോടും നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതിയോടും | 9 सुनों, मैं तुम्हारे साय और तुम्हारे पश्चात् जो तुम्हारा वंश होगा, उसके साय भी वाचा बान्धता हूं। |
| 10 and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark; it is for every beast of the earth. | 10 ഭൂമിയിൽ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉള്ള പക്ഷികളും കന്നുകാലികളും കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളുമായ സകല ജീവജന്തുക്കളോടും പെട്ടകത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട സകലവുമായി ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളോടും ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്യുന്നു. | 10 और सब जीवित प्राणियोंसे भी जो तुम्हारे संग है क्या पक्की क्या घरेलू पशु, क्या पृय्वी के सब बनैले पशु, पृय्वी के जितने जीवजन्तु जहाज से निकले हैं; सब के साय भी मेरी यह वाचा बन्धती है : |
| 11 I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." | 11 ഇനി സകലജഡവും ജലപ്രളയത്താൽ നശിക്കയില്ല; ഭൂമിയെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ഇനി ജലപ്രളയം ഉണ്ടാകയുമില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്യുന്നു. | 11 और मै तुम्हारे साय अपक्की इस वाचा को पूरा करूंगा; कि सब प्राणी फिर जलप्रलय से नाश न होंगे : और पृय्वी के नाश करने के लिथे फिर जलप्रलय न होगा। |
| 12 And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: | 12 പിന്നെയും ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഞാനും നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഉള്ള സകലജീവജന്തുക്കളും തമ്മിൽ തലമുറതലമുറയോളം സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ചെയ്യുന്ന നിയമത്തിന്റെ അടയാളം ആവിതു: | 12 फिर परमेश्वर ने कहा, जो वाचा मै तुम्हारे साय, और जितने जीवित प्राणी तुम्हारे संग हैं उन सब के साय भी युग युग की पीढिय़ोंके लिथे बान्धता हूं; उसका यह चिन्ह है : |
| 13 I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. | 13 ഞാൻ എന്റെ വില്ലു മേഘത്തിൽ വെക്കുന്നു; അതു ഞാനും ഭൂമിയും തമ്മിലുള്ള നിയമത്തിന്നു അടയാളമായിരിക്കും. | 13 कि मैं ने बादल मे अपना धनुष रखा है वह मेरे और पृय्वी के बीच में वाचा का चिन्ह होगा। |
| 14 When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, | 14 ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ മീതെ മേഘം വരുത്തുമ്പോൾ മേഘത്തിൽ വില്ലു കാണും. | 14 और जब मैं पृय्वी पर बादल फैलाऊं जब बादल में धनुष देख पकेगा। |
| 15 I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. | 15 അപ്പോൾ ഞാനും നിങ്ങളും സർവ്വജഡവുമായ സകലജീവജന്തുക്കളും തമ്മിലുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ഞാൻ ഓർക്കും; ഇനി സകല ജഡത്തെയും നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വെള്ളം ഒരു പ്രളയമായി തീരുകയുമില്ല. | 15 तब मेरी जो वाचा तुम्हारे और सब जीवित शरीरधारी प्राणियोंके साय बान्धी है; उसको मैं स्मरण करूंगा, तब ऐसा जलप्रलय फिर न होगा जिस से सब प्राणियोंका विनाश हो। |
| 16 When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." | 16 വില്ലു മേഘത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടാകും; ദൈവവും ഭൂമിയിലെ സർവ്വ ജഡവുമായ സകല ജീവികളും തമ്മിൽ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള നിയമം ഓർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അതിനെ നോക്കും. | 16 बादल में जो धनुष होगा मैं उसे देख के यह सदा की वाचा स्मरण करूंगा जो परमेश्वर के और पृय्वी पर के सब जीवित शरीरधारी प्राणियोंके बीच बन्धी है। |
| 17 God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth." | 17 ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള സർവ്വ ജഡത്തോടും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന നിയമത്തിന്നു ഇതു അടയാളം എന്നും ദൈവം നോഹയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. | 17 फिर परमेश्वर ने नूह से कहा जो वाचा मैं ने पृय्वी भर के सब प्राणियोंके साय बान्धी है, उसका चिन्ह यही है।। |
| 18 The sons of Noah who went forth from the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.) | 18 പെട്ടകത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടവരായ നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ ശേമും ഹാമും യാഫെത്തും ആയിരുന്നു; ഹാം എന്നവനോ കനാന്റെ പിതാവു. | 18 नूह के जो पुत्र जहाज में से निकले, वे शेम, हाम, और थेपेत थे : और हाम तो कनान का पिता हुआ। |
| 19 These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the people of the whole earth were dispersed. | 19 ഇവർ മൂവരും നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ; അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി ഒക്കെയും നിറഞ്ഞു. | 19 नूह के तीन पुत्र थे ही हैं, और इनका वंश सारी पृय्वी पर फैल गया। |
| 20 Noah began to be a man of the soil, and he planted a vineyard. | 20 നോഹ കൃഷിചെയ്‍വാൻ തുടങ്ങി; ഒരു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി. | 20 और नूह किसानी करने लगा, और उस ने दाख की बारी लगाई। |
| 21 He drank of the wine and became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent. | 21 അവൻ അതിലെ വീഞ്ഞുകുടിച്ചു ലഹരിപിടിച്ചു തന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ വസ്ത്രം നീങ്ങി കിടന്നു. | 21 और वह दाखमधु पीकर मतवाला हुआ; और अपके तम्बू के भीतर नंगा हो गया। |
| 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father and told his two brothers outside. | 22 കനാന്റെ പിതാവായ ഹാം പിതാവിന്റെ നഗ്നത കണ്ടു വെളിയിൽ ചെന്നു തന്റെ രണ്ടു സഹോദരന്മാരെയും അറിയിച്ചു. | 22 तब कनान के पिता हाम ने, अपके पिता को नंगा देखा, और बाहर आकर अपके दोनोंभाइयोंको बतला दिया। |
| 23 Then Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned backward, and they did not see their father's nakedness. | 23 ശേമും യാഫെത്തും ഒരു വസ്ത്രം എടുത്തു, ഇരുവരുടെയും തോളിൽ ഇട്ടു വിമുഖരായി ചെന്നു പിതാവിന്റെ നഗ്നത മറെച്ചു; അവരുടെ മുഖം തിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ പിതാവിന്റെ നഗ്നത കണ്ടില്ല. | 23 तब शेम और थेपेत दोनोंने कपड़ा लेकर अपके कन्धोंपर रखा, और पीछे की ओर उलटा चलकर अपके पिता के नंगे तन को ढ़ाप दिया, और वे अपना मुख पीछे किए हुए थे इसलिथे उन्होंने अपके पिता को नंगा न देखा। |
| 24 When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his youngest son had done to him, | 24 നോഹ ലഹരിവിട്ടുണർന്നപ്പോൾ തന്റെ ഇളയ മകൻ ചെയ്തതു അറിഞ്ഞു. | 24 जब नूह का नशा उतर गया, तब उस ने जान लिया कि उसके छोटे पुत्र ने उस से क्या किया है। |
| 25 he said, "Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be to his brothers." | 25 അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: കനാൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ; അവൻ തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു അധമദാസനായ്തീരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 25 इसलिथे उस ने कहा, कनान शापित हो : वह अपके भाई बन्धुओं के दासोंका दास हो। |
| 26 He also said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem; and let Canaan be his servant. | 26 ശേമിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ; കനാൻ അവരുടെ ദാസനാകും. | 26 फिर उस ने कहा, शेम का परमेश्वर यहोवा धन्य है, और कनान शेम का दास होवे। |
| 27 May God enlarge Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem, and let Canaan be his servant." | 27 ദൈവം യാഫെത്തിനെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ ശേമിന്റെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കും; കനാൻ അവരുടെ ദാസനാകും എന്നും അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു. | 27 परमेश्वर थेपेत के वंश को फैलाए; और वह शेम के तम्बुओं मे बसे, और कनान उसका दास होवे। |
| 28 After the flood Noah lived 350 years. | 28 ജലപ്രളയത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം നോഹ മുന്നൂറ്റമ്പതു സംവത്സരം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു. | 28 जलप्रलय के पश्चात् नूह साढ़े तीन सौ वर्ष जीवित रहा। |
| 29 All the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died. | 29 നോഹയുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലം ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തമ്പതു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ മരിച്ചു. | 29 और नूह की कुल अवस्या साढ़े नौ सौ वर्ष की हुई : तत्पश्चात् वह मर गया। |
