| 8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to search for David. | 10 And David inquired of God, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you give them into my hand?" | 11 And he went up to Baal-perazim, and David struck them down there. And David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like a bursting flood." | 14 And when David again inquired of God, God said to him, "You shall not go up after them; go around and come against them opposite the balsam trees. | 14 ദാവീദ് പിന്നെയും ദൈവത്തോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ ദൈവം അവനോടു: അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ചെല്ലാതെ അവരെ വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു ബാഖാവൃക്ഷങ്ങൾക്കെതിരെ അവരുടെ നേരെ ചെല്ലുക. | 14 तब दाऊद ने परमेश्वर से फिर पूछा, और परमेश्वर ने उस से कहा, उनका पीछा मत कर; उन से मुड़कर तूत के वृझोंके साम्हने से उन पर छापा मार। |
| 15 And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines." | 15 ബാഖാവൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ അഗ്രങ്ങളിൽകൂടി അണിയണിയായി നടക്കുന്ന ഒച്ച കേട്ടാൽ നീ പടെക്കു പുറപ്പെടുക; ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ സൈന്യത്തെ തോല്പിപ്പാൻ ദൈവം നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; | 15 और जब तूत के वृझोंकी फुनगियोंमें से सेना के चलने की सी आहट तुझे सुन पके, तब यह जानकर युद्ध करने को निकल जाना कि परमेश्वर पलिश्तियोंकी सेना को मारने के लिथे तेरे आगे जा रहा है। |
| 16 And David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army from Gibeon to Gezer. | 16 ദൈവം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ദാവീദ് ചെയ്തു; അവർ ഗിബെയോൻ മുതൽ ഗേസെർവരെ ഫെലിസ്ത്യ സൈന്യത്തെ തോല്പിച്ചു. | 16 परमेश्वर की इस आज्ञा के अनुसार दाऊद ने किया, और इस्राएलियोंने पलिश्तियोंकी सेना को गिबोन से लेकर गेजेर तक मार लिया। |
| 17 And the fame of David went out into all lands, and the LORD brought the fear of him upon all nations. | 17 ദാവീദിന്റെ കീർത്തി സകലദേശങ്ങളിലും പരക്കയും യഹോവ അവനെയുള്ള ഭയം സർവ്വജാതികൾക്കും വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. | 17 तब दाऊद की कीत्तिर् सब देशोंमें फैल गई, और यहोवा ने सब जातियोंके मन में उसका भय भर दिया। |
