| 2 And he defeated Moab, and the Moabites became servants to David and brought tribute. | 2 പിന്നെ അവൻ മോവാബിനെ തോല്പിച്ചു; മോവാബ്യർ ദാവീദിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായി കാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുവന്നു. | 2 फिर उस ने मोआबियोंका भी जीत लिया, और मोआबी दाऊद के अधीन होकर भेंट लाने लगे। |
| 3 David also defeated Hadadezer king of Zobah-Hamath, as he went to set up his monument at the river Euphrates. | 3 സോബാരാജാവായ ഹദദേസെർ ഫ്രാത്ത് നദീതീരത്തിങ്കൽ തന്റെ ആധിപത്യം ഉറപ്പിപ്പാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് അവനെയും ഹമാത്തിൽവെച്ചു തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. | 3 फिर जब सोबा का राजा हदरेजेर परात महानद के पास अपके राज्य स्यिर करने को जा रहा या, तब दाऊद ने उसको हमात के पास जीत लिया। |
| 4 And David took from him 1,000 chariots, 7,000 horsemen and 20,000 foot soldiers. | 6 Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went. | 6 പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് ദമ്മേശെക്കിനോടു ചേർന്ന അരാമിൽ കാവല്പട്ടാളങ്ങളെ പാർപ്പിച്ചു; അരാമ്യരും ദാവീദിന്നു ദാസന്മാരായി കാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുവന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് ചെന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും യഹോവ അവന്നു ജയം നല്കി. | 6 तब दाऊद ने दमिष्क के अराम में सिपाहियोंकी चौकियां बैठाई; सो अरामी दाऊद के अधीन होकर भेंट ले आने लगे। और जहां जहां दाऊद जाता, वहां वहां यहोवा उसको जय दिलाता या। |
| 7 And David took the shields of gold that were carried by the servants of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem. | 7 ഹദദേസെരിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പൊൻപരിചകളെ ദാവീദ് എടുത്തു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. | 7 और हदरेजेर के कर्मचारियोंके पास सोने की जो ढालें यीं, उन्हें दाऊद लेकर यरूशलेम को आया। |
| 8 And from Tibhath and from Cun, cities of Hadadezer, David took a large amount of bronze. | 10 he sent his son Hadoram to King David, to ask about his health and to bless him because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him; for Hadadezer had often been at war with Tou. | 11 These also King David dedicated to the LORD, together with the silver and gold that he had carried off from all the nations, from Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines and Amalek. | 11 ദാവീദ്‍രാജാവു അവയെ താൻ ഏദോം, മോവാബ്, അമ്മോന്യർ, ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ, അമാലേക്ക് മുതലായ സകലജാതികളുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നും പിടിച്ചെടുത്ത വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടുംകൂടെ യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു. | 11 इनको दाऊद राजा ने यहोवा के लिथे पवित्र करके रखा, और वैसा ही उस सोने-चांदी से भी किया जिसे सब जातियो से, अर्यात् एदोमियोंमोआबियों, अम्मोनियों, पलिश्तियों, और अमालेकियोंसे प्राप्त किया या। |
| 12 And Abishai, the son of Zeruiah, killed 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt. | 12 സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ അബീശായി ഉപ്പുതാഴ്വരയിൽവെച്ചു എദോമ്യരിൽ പതിനെണ്ണായിരംപേരെ സംഹരിച്ചു. | 12 फिर यरूयाह के पुत्र अबीशै ने लान की तराई में अठारह हजार एदोमियोंको मार लिया। |
| 13 Then he put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became David's servants. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went. | 13 ദാവീദ് എദോമിൽ കാവല്പട്ടാളങ്ങളെ ആക്കി; എദോമ്യർ എല്ലാവരും അവന്നു ദാസന്മാർ ആയ്തീർന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് ചെന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും യഹോവ അവന്നു ജയം നല്കി. | 13 तब उस ने एदोम में सिपाहियोंकी चौकियां बैठाई; और सब एदोमी दाऊद के अधीन हो गए। और दाऊद जहां जहां जाता या वहां वहां यहोवा उसको जय दिलाता या। |
| 14 So David reigned over all Israel, and he administered justice and equity to all his people. | 14 ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും രാജാവായി വാണു; തന്റെ സകലജനത്തിന്നും നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തിവന്നു. | 14 दाऊद तो सारे इस्राएल पर राज्य करता या, और वह अपक्की सब प्रजा के साय न्याय और धर्म के काम करता या। |
| 15 And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; | 15 സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ യോവാബ് സേനാധിപതി ആയിരുന്നു; അഹീലൂദിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് മന്ത്രിയും | 15 और प्रधान सेनापति सरूयाह का पुत्र योआब या; इतिहास का लिखनेवाला अहीलूद का पुत्र यहोशापात या। |
