| 1 And all the people gathered as one man into the square before the Water Gate. | 2 So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, both men and women and all who could understand what they heard, on the first day of the seventh month. | 2 ഏഴാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി എസ്രാ പുരോഹിതൻ പുരുഷന്മാരും സ്ത്രീകളും കേട്ടുഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള എല്ലാവരുമായ സഭയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, | 2 तब एज्रा याजक सातवें महीने के पहिले दिन को क्या स्त्री, क्या पुरुष, जितने सुनकर समझ सकते थे, उन सभोंके साम्हने व्यवस्या को ले आया। |
| 3 And he read from it facing the square before the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women and those who could understand. | 4 And Ezra the scribe stood on a wooden platform that they had made for the purpose. | 5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was above all the people, and as he opened it all the people stood. | 5 എസ്രാ സകലജനവും കാൺകെ പുസ്തകം വിടർത്തു; അവൻ സകലജനത്തിന്നും മീതെ ആയിരുന്നു; അതു വിടർത്തപ്പോൾ ജനമെല്ലാം എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിന്നു. | 5 तब एज्रा ने जो सब लोगोंसे ऊंचे पर या, सभोंके देखते उस पुस्तक को खोल दिया; और जब उस ने उसको खोला, तब सब लोग उठ खाड़े हुए। |
| 6 And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people answered, "Amen, Amen," lifting up their hands. | 7 Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law, while the people remained in their places. | 7 ജനം താന്താന്റെ നിലയിൽ തന്നേ നിന്നിരിക്കെ യേശുവ, ബാനി, ശേരെബ്യാവു, യാമീൻ, അക്കൂബ്, ശബ്ബെത്തായി, ഹോദീയാവു, മയസേയാവു, കെലീതാ, അസർയ്യാവു, യോസാബാദ്, ഹാനാൻ, പെലായാവു, എന്നിവരും ലേവ്യരും ജനത്തിന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ പൊരുൾ തിരിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. | 7 और थेशू, बानी, शेरेब्याह, यामीन, अक्कूब, शब्बतै, होदिय्याह, मासेयाह, कलीता, अजर्याह, योजाबाद, हानान और पलायाह नाम लेवीय, लोगोंको व्यवस्या समझाते गए, और लोग अपके अपके स्यान पर खड़े रहे। |
| 8 They read from the book, from the Law of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading. | 8 ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപുസ്തകം തെളിവായി വായിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിക്കയും വായിച്ചതു ഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അർത്ഥം പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്തു. | 8 और उन्होंने परमेश्वर की व्यवस्या की पुस्तक से पढ़कर अर्य समझा दिया; और लोगोंने पाठ को समझ लिया। |
| 9 And Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, "This day is holy to the LORD your God; do not mourn or weep." | 10 Then he said to them, "Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. | 12 And all the people went their way to eat and drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they had understood the words that were declared to them. | 12 തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞ വചനം ബോദ്ധ്യമായതുകൊണ്ടു ജനമെല്ലാം പോയി തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കയും പകർച്ച കൊടുത്തയക്കയും അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. | 12 तब सब लोग खाने, पीने, बैना भेजने और बड़ा आनन्द मनाने को चले गए, क्योंकि जो वचन उनको समझाए गए थे, उन्हें वे समझ गए थे। |
| 13 On the second day the heads of fathers' houses of all the people, with the priests and the Levites, came together to Ezra the scribe in order to study the words of the Law. | 13 പിറ്റെന്നാൾ സകലജനത്തിന്റെയും പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ന്യായപ്രമാണവാക്യങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എസ്രാശാസ്ത്രിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി. | 13 और दूसरे दिन को भी समस्त प्रजा के पितरोंके घराने के मुख्य मुख्य पुरुष और याजक और लेवीय लोग, एज्रा शास्त्री के पास व्यवस्या के वचन ध्यान से सुनने के लिथे इकट्टे हुए। |
| 14 And they found it written in the Law that the LORD had commanded by Moses that the people of Israel should dwell in booths during the feast of the seventh month, | 14 യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ച ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഏഴാം മാസത്തിലെ ഉത്സവത്തിൽ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കേണം എന്നും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ | 14 और उन्हें व्यवस्या में यह लिखा हुआ मिला, कि यहोवा ने मूसा से यह आज्ञा दिलाई यी, कि इस्राएली सातवें महीने के पर्व के समय फोपडिय़ोंमें रहा करें, |

| 17 And all the assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and lived in the booths, for from the days of Jeshua the son of Nun to that day the people of Israel had not done so. | 18 And day by day, from the first day to the last day, he read from the Book of the Law of God. They kept the feast seven days, and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly, according to the rule. | 18 ആദ്യദിവസം മുതൽ അവസാനദിവസംവരെ അവൻ ദിവസേന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപുസ്തകം വായിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഏഴു ദിവസം ഉത്സവം ആചരിച്ചു; എട്ടാം ദിവസം നിയമപ്രകാരം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടുകയും ചെയ്തു. | 18 फिर पक्कीले दिन से पिछले दिन तक एज्रा ने प्रतिदिन परमेश्वर की व्यवस्या की पुस्तक में से पढ़ पढ़कर सुनाया। योंवे सात दिन तक पर्व को मानते रहे, और साठवें दिन नियम के अनुसार महासभा हुई। |
