| 8 They are wet with the rain of the mountains and cling to the rock for lack of shelter. | 8 അവർ മലകളിൽ മഴ നനയുന്നു; മറവിടം ഇല്ലായ്കയാൽ അവർ പാറയെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു. | 8 वे पहाड़ोंपर की फडिय़ोंसे भीगे रहते, और शरण न पाकर चट्टान से लिपट जाते हैं। |
| 9 (There are those who snatch the fatherless child from the breast, and they take a pledge against the poor.) | 9 ചിലർ മുലകുടിക്കുന്ന അനാഥകുട്ടികളെ അപഹരിക്കുന്നു; ചിലർ ദരിദ്രനോടു പണയം വാങ്ങുന്നു. | 9 कुछ लोग अनाय बालक को मा की छाती पर से छीन लेते हैं, और दीन लोगोंसे बन्धक लेते हैं। |
| 10 They go about naked, without clothing; hungry, they carry the sheaves; | 10 അവർ വസ്ത്രം കൂടാതെ നഗ്നരായി നടക്കുന്നു; പട്ടിണി കിടന്നുകൊണ്ടു കറ്റ ചുമക്കുന്നു. | 10 जिस से वे बिना वस्त्र नंगे फिरते हैं; और भूख के मारे, पूलियां ढोते हैं। |

| 16 In the dark they dig through houses; by day they shut themselves up; they do not know the light. | 16 ചിലർ ഇരുട്ടത്തു വീടു തുരന്നു കയറുന്നു; പകൽ അവർ വാതിൽ അടെച്ചു പാർക്കുന്നു; വെളിച്ചത്തു ഇറങ്ങുന്നതുമില്ല. | 16 वे अन्धिक्कारने के समय घरोंमें सेंध मारते और दिन को छिपे रहते हैं; वे उजियाले को जानते भी नहीं। |
| 17 For deep darkness is morning to all of them; for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness. | 17 പ്രഭാതം അവർക്കൊക്കെയും അന്ധതമസ്സു തന്നേ; അന്ധതമസ്സിന്റെ ഘോരത്വങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു പരിചയമുണ്ടല്ലോ. | 17 इसलिथे उन सभोंको भोर का प्रकाश घोर अन्धकार सा जान पड़ता है, क्योंकि घोर अन्धकार का भय वे जानते हैं। |
| 18 "You say, 'Swift are they on the face of the waters; their portion is cursed in the land; no treader turns toward their vineyards. | 18 വെള്ളത്തിന്മേൽ അവർ വേഗത്തിൽ പൊയ്പോകുന്നു; അവരുടെ ഓഹരി ഭൂമിയിൽ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളുടെ വഴിക്കു അവർ തിരിയുന്നില്ല. | 18 वे जल के ऊपर हलकी वस्तु के सरीखे हैं, उनके भाग को पृय्वी के रहनेवाले कोसते हैं, और वे अपक्की दाख की बारियोंमें लौटने नहीं पाते। |
| 19 Drought and heat snatch away the snow waters; so does Sheol those who have sinned. | 19 ഹിമജലം വരൾച്ചെക്കും ഉഷ്ണത്തിന്നും പാപം ചെയ്തവൻ പാതാളത്തിന്നും ഇരയാകുന്നു. | 19 जैसे सूखे और घाम से हिम का जल सूख जाता है वैसे ही पापी लोग अधोलोक में सूख जाते हैं। |
| 20 The womb forgets them; the worm finds them sweet; they are no longer remembered, so wickedness is broken like a tree.' | 20 ഗർഭപാത്രം അവനെ മറന്നുകളയും; കൃമി അവനെ തിന്നു രസിക്കും; പിന്നെ ആരും അവനെ ഓർക്കയില്ല; നീതികേടു ഒരു വൃക്ഷംപോലെ തകർന്നു പോകും. | 20 माता भी उसको भूल जाती, और कीड़े उसे चूसते हें, भवीष्य में उसका स्मरण न रहेगा; इस रीति टेढ़ा काम करनेवाला वृझ की राई कट जाता है। |
| 21 "They wrong the barren childless woman, and do no good to the widow. | 21 പ്രസവിക്കാത്ത മച്ചിയെ അവൻ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയുന്നു; വിധവെക്കു നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നതുമില്ല. | 21 वह बांफ स्त्री को जो कभी नहीं जनी लूटता, और विधवा से भलाई करना नहीं चाहता है। |
| 22 Yet God prolongs the life of the mighty by his power; they rise up when they despair of life. | 22 അവൻ തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്മാരെ നിലനില്ക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു; ജീവനെക്കുറിച്ചു നിരാശപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കെ അവർ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നു. | 22 बलात्कारियोंको भी ईश्वर अपक्की शक्ति से खींच लेता है, जो जीवित रहने की आशा नहीं रखता, वह भी फिर उठ बैठता है। |
| 23 He gives them security, and they are supported, and his eyes are upon their ways. | 23 അവൻ അവർക്കു നിർഭയവാസം നല്കുന്നു; അവർ ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി അവരുടെ വഴികളിന്മേൽ ഉണ്ടു. | 23 उन्हें ऐसे बेखटके कर देता है, कि वे सम्भले रहते हैं; उौर उसकी कृपादृष्टि उनकी चाल पर लगी रहती है। |
| 24 They are exalted a little while, and then are gone; they are brought low and gathered up like all others; they are cut off like the heads of grain. | 24 അവർ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; കുറെകഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടോ അവർ ഇല്ല; അവരെ താഴ്ത്തി മറ്റെല്ലാവരെയുംപോലെ നീക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; കതിരുകളുടെ തലപോലെ അവരെ അറുക്കുന്നു. | 24 वे बढ़ते हैं, तब योड़ी बेर में जाते रहते हैं, वे दबाए जाते और सभोंकी नाई रख लिथे जाते हैं, और अनाज की बाल की नाई काटे जाते हैं। |
| 25 If it is not so, who will prove me a liar and show that there is nothing in what I say?" | 25 ഇങ്ങനെയല്ലെങ്കിൽ എന്നെ കള്ളനാക്കുകയും എന്റെ വാക്കു ഖണ്ഡിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ആർ? | 25 क्या यह सब सच नहीं ! कौन मुझे फुठलाएगा? कौन मेरी बातें निकम्मी ठहराएगा? |
