| 2 "How long will you say these things, and the words of your mouth be a great wind? | 2 എത്രത്തോളം നീ ഇങ്ങനെ സംസാരിക്കും? നിന്റെ വായിലെ വാക്കുകൾ വങ്കാറ്റുപോലെ ഇരിക്കും? | 2 तू कब तक ऐसी ऐसी बातें करता रहेगा? और तेरे मुंह की बातें कब तक प्रचणड वायु सी रहेगी? |
| 3 Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert the right? | 3 ദൈവം ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുമോ? സർവ്വശക്തൻ നീതിയെ മറിച്ചുകളയുമോ? | 3 क्या ईश्वर अन्याय करता है? और क्या सर्वशक्तिमान धर्म को उलटा करता है? |
| 4 If your children have sinned against him, he has delivered them into the hand of their transgression. | 4 നിന്റെ മക്കൾ അവനോടു പാപം ചെയ്തെങ്കിൽ അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. | 4 यदि तेरे लड़केबालोंने उसके विरुद्ध पाप किया है, तो उस ने उनको उनके अपराध का फल भुगताया है। |
| 5 If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy, | 5 നീ ദൈവത്തെ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ അന്വേഷിക്കയും സർവ്വശക്തനോടപേക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ, | 5 तौभी यदि तू आप ईश्वर को यत्न से ढूंढ़ता, और सर्वशक्तिमान से गिड़गिड़ाकर बिनती करता, |

| 8 "For inquire, please, of bygone ages, and consider what the fathers have searched out. | 8 നീ പണ്ടത്തെ തലമുറയോടു ചോദിക്ക; അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അന്വേഷണ ഫലം ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊൾക. | 8 अगली पीढ़ी के लोगोंसे तो पूछ, और जो कुछ उनके पुरखाओं ने जांच पड़ताल की है उस पर ध्यान दे। |
| 9 For we are but of yesterday and know nothing, for our days on earth are a shadow. | 9 നാം ഇന്നലെ ഉണ്ടായവരും ഒന്നുമറിയാത്തവരുമല്ലോ; ഭൂമിയിൽ നമ്മുടെ ജീവകാലം ഒരു നിഴലത്രെ. | 9 क्योंकि हम तो कल ही के हैं, और कुछ नहीं जानते; और पृय्वी पर हमारे दिन छाया की नाई बीतते जाते हैं। |

| 11 "Can papyrus grow where there is no marsh? Can reeds flourish where there is no water? | 11 ചെളിയില്ലാതെ ഞാങ്ങണ വളരുമോ? വെള്ളമില്ലാതെ പോട്ടപ്പുല്ലു വളരുമോ? | 11 क्या कछार की घास पानी बिना बढ़ सकती है? क्या सरकणडा कीच बिना बढ़ता है? |
| 12 While yet in flower and not cut down, they wither before any other plant. | 12 അതു അരിയാതെ പച്ചയായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ മറ്റു എല്ലാ പുല്ലിന്നും മുമ്പെ വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു. | 12 चाहे वह हरी हो, और काटी भी न गई हो, तौभी वह और सब भांति की घास से पहिले ही सूख जाती है। |

| 14 His confidence is severed, and his trust is a spider's web. | 14 അവന്റെ ആശ്രയം അറ്റുപോകും; അവന്റെ ശരണം ചിലന്തിവലയത്രെ. | 14 उसकी आश का मूल कट जाता है; और जिसका वह भरोसा करता है, वह मकड़ी का जाला ठहराता है। |

| 20 "Behold, God will not reject a blameless man, nor take the hand of evildoers. | 20 ദൈവം നിഷ്കളങ്കനെ നിരസിക്കയില്ല; ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരെ താങ്ങുകയുമില്ല. | 20 देख, ईश्वर न तो खरे मनुष्य को निकम्मा जानकर छोड़ देता है, और न बुराई करतेवालोंको संभालता है। |
| 21 He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouting. | 21 അവൻ ഇനിയും നിന്റെ വായിൽ ചിരിയും നിന്റെ അധരങ്ങളിൽ ഉല്ലാസഘോഷവും നിറെക്കും. | 21 वह तो तुझे हंसमुख करेगा; और तुझ से जयजयकार कराएगा। |
| 22 Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more." | 22 നിന്നെ പകക്കുന്നവർ ലജ്ജ ധരിക്കും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കൂടാരം ഇല്ലാതെയാകും. | 22 तेरे वैरी लज्जा का वस्त्र पहिनेंगे, और दुष्टोंका डेरा कहीं रहने न पाएगा। |
