| 1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! | 1 ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ നിമിത്തം നീ മുഷിയരുതു; നീതികേടു ചെയ്യുന്നവരോടു അസൂയപ്പെടുകയുമരുതു. | 1 कुकर्मियोंके कारण मत कुढ़, कुटिल काम करनेवालोंके विषय डाह न कर! |
| 2 For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. | 2 അവർ പുല്ലുപോലെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഉണങ്ങി പച്ചച്ചെടിപോലെ വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു. | 2 क्योंकि वे घास की नाई झट कट जाएंगे, और हरी घास की नाई मुर्झा जाएंगे। |
| 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. | 3 യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചു നന്മചെയ്ക; ദേശത്തു പാർത്തു വിശ്വസ്തത ആചരിക്ക. യഹോവയിൽ തന്നേ രസിച്ചുകൊൾക; | 3 यहोवा पर भरोसा रख, और भला कर; देश में बसा रह, और सच्चाई में मन लगाए रह। |
| 4 Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. | 4 അവൻ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നിനക്കു തരും. | 4 यहोवा को अपके सुख का मूल जान, और वह तेरे मनोरथोंको मूरा करेगा।। |
| 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act. | 5 നിന്റെ വഴി യഹോവയെ ഭരമേല്പിക്ക; അവനിൽ തന്നേ ആശ്രയിക്ക; അവൻ അതു നിർവ്വഹിക്കും. | 5 अपके मार्ग की चिन्ता यहोवा पर छोड़; और उस पर भरोसा रख, वही पूरा करेगा। |
| 6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. | 6 അവൻ നിന്റെ നീതിയെ പ്രഭാതംപോലെയും നിന്റെ ന്യായത്തെ മദ്ധ്യാഹ്നംപോലെയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കും. | 6 और वह तेरा धर्म ज्योति की नाई, और तेरा न्याय दोपहर के उजियाले की नाई प्रगट करेगा।। |
| 7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! | 7 യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ മിണ്ടാതെയിരുന്നു അവന്നായി പ്രത്യാശിക്ക; കാര്യസാധ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവനെയും ദുരുപായം പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നവനെയും കുറിച്ചു നീ മുഷിയരുതു. | 7 यहोवा के साम्हने चुपचाप रह, और धीरज से उसका आस्त्रा रख; उस मनुष्य के कारण न कुढ़, जिसके काम सुफल होते हैं, और वह कुरी युक्तियोंको निकालता है! |
| 8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. | 8 കോപം കളഞ്ഞു ക്രോധം ഉപേക്ഷിക്ക; മുഷിഞ്ഞു പോകരുതു; അതു ദോഷത്തിന്നു ഹേതുവാകേയുള്ളു. | 8 क्रोध से पके रह, और जलजलाहट को छोड़ दे! मत कुढ़, उस से बुराई ही निकलेगी। |
| 9 For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land. | 9 ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാർ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും; യഹോവയെ പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നവരോ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും. | 9 क्योंकि कुकर्मी लोग काट डाले जाएंगे; और जो यहोवा की बाट जोहते हैं, वही पृथ्वी के अधिक्कारनेी होंगे। |
| 10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. | 10 കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ദുഷ്ടൻ ഇല്ല; നീ അവന്റെ ഇടം സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കും; അവനെ കാണുകയില്ല. | 10 थोड़े दिन के बीतने पर दुष्ट रहेगा ही नहीं; और तू उसके स्थान को भलीं भांति देखने पर भी उसको न पाएगा। |
| 11 But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace. | 11 എന്നാൽ സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവർ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും; സമാധാനസമൃദ്ധിയിൽ അവർ ആനന്ദിക്കും. | 11 परन्तु नम्र लोग पृथ्वी के अधिक्कारनेी होंगे, और बड़ी शान्ति के कारण आनन्द मनाएंगे। |
| 12 The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him, | 12 ദുഷ്ടൻ നീതിമാന്നു ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നേരെ അവൻ പല്ലു കടിക്കുന്നു. | 12 दुष्ट धर्मी के विरूद्ध बुरी युक्ति निकालता है, और उस पर दांत पीसता है; |
| 13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming. | 13 കർത്താവു അവനെ നോക്കി ചിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ ദിവസം വരുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ കാണുന്നു. എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും വീഴിപ്പാനും സന്മാർഗ്ഗികളെ കൊല്ലുവാനും ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ വാളൂരി വില്ലു കുലെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 13 परन्तु प्रभु उस पर हंसेगा, क्योंकि वह देखता है कि उसका दिन आनेवाला है।। |
| 14 The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose way is upright; | 15 അവരുടെ വാൾ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ തന്നേ കടക്കും; അവരുടെ വില്ലുകൾ ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകും. | 14 दुष्ट लोग तलवार खींचे और धनुष बढ़ाए हुए हैं, ताकि दीन दरिद्र को गिरा दें, और सीधी चाल चलनेवालोंको वध करें। |
| 15 their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. | 16 അനേകദുഷ്ടന്മാർക്കുള്ള സമൃദ്ധിയെക്കാൾ നീതിമാന്നുള്ള അല്പം ഏറ്റവും നല്ലതു. | 15 उनकी तलवारोंसे उन्हीं के हृदय छिदेंगे, और उनके धनुष तोड़े जाएंगे।। |
| 16 Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked. | 17 ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ഭുജങ്ങൾ ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; എന്നാൽ നീതിമാന്മാരെ യഹോവ താങ്ങും. | 16 धर्मी को थोड़ा से माल दुष्टोंके बहुत से धन से उत्तम है। |
| 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous. | 18 യഹോവ നിഷ്കളങ്കന്മാരുടെ നാളുകളെ അറിയുന്നു; അവരുടെ അവകാശം ശാശ്വതമായിരിക്കും. | 17 क्योंकि दुष्टोंकी भुजाएं तो तोड़ी जाएंगी; परन्तु यहोवा धर्मियोंको सम्भालता है।। |
| 18 The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; | 19 ദുഷ്കാലത്തു അവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകയില്ല; ക്ഷാമകാലത്തു അവർ തൃപ്തരായിരിക്കും, | 18 यहोवा खरे लोगोंकी आयु की सुधि रखता है, और उनका भाग सदैव बना रहेगा। |
| 19 they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance. | 20 എന്നാൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ നശിച്ചുപോകും; യഹോവയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ പുല്പുറത്തിന്റെ ഭംഗിപോലേയുള്ളു; അവർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും; പുകപോലെ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും. | 19 विपत्ति के समय, उनकी आशा न टूटेगी और न वे लज्जित होंगे, और अकाल के दिनोंमें वे तृप्त रहेंगे।। |
| 20 But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the LORD are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish--like smoke they vanish away. | 21 ദുഷ്ടൻ വായ്പ വാങ്ങുന്നു തിരികെ കൊടുക്കുന്നില്ല; നീതിമാനോ കൃപാലുവായി ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. | 20 दुष्ट लोग नाश हो जाएंगे; और यहोवा के शत्रु खेत की सुथरी घास की नाई नाश होंगे, वे धूएं की नाई बिलाय जाएंगे।। |
| 21 The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives; | 22 അവനാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും. അവനാൽ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും. | 21 दुष्ट ऋण लेता है, और भरता नहीं परनतु धर्मीं अनुग्रह करके दान देता है; |
| 22 for those blessed by the LORD shall inherit the land, but those cursed by him shall be cut off. | 23 ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ വഴിയിൽ പ്രസാദം തോന്നിയാൽ യഹോവ അവന്റെ ഗമനം സ്ഥിരമാക്കുന്നു. | 22 क्योंकि जो उस से आशीष पाते हैं वे तो पृथ्वी के अधिक्कारनेी होंगे, परन्तु जो उस से शापित होते हैं, वे नाश को जाएंगे।। |
| 23 The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way; | 24 അവൻ വീണാലും നിലംപരിചാകയില്ല; യഹോവ അവനെ കൈ പിടിച്ചു താങ്ങുന്നു. | 23 मनुष्य की गति यहोवा की ओर से दृढ़ होती है, और उसके चलन से वह प्रसन्न रहता है; |
| 24 though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the LORD upholds his hand. | 25 ഞാൻ ബാലനായിരുന്നു, വൃദ്ധനായിത്തീർന്നു; നീതിമാൻ തുണയില്ലാതിരിക്കുന്നതും അവന്റെ സന്തതി ആഹാരം ഇരക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. | 24 चाहे वह गिरे तौभी पड़ा न रह जाएगा, क्योंकि यहोवा उसका हाथ थांभे रहता है।। |
| 25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. | 26 അവൻ നിത്യം കൃപാലുവായി വായ്പ കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ സന്തതി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. | 25 मैं लड़कपन से लेकर बुढ़ापे तक देखता आया हूं; परन्तु न तो कभी धर्मी को त्यागा हुआ, और न उसके वंश को टुकड़े मांगते देखा है। |
| 26 He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing. | 27 ദോഷം വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു ഗുണം ചെയ്ക; എന്നാൽ നീ സദാകാലം സുഖമായി വസിക്കും. | 26 वह तो दिन भर अनुग्रह कर करके ऋण देता है, और उसके वंश पर आशीष फलती रहती है।। |
| 27 Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever. | 28 യഹോവ ന്യായപ്രിയനാകുന്നു; തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല; അവർ എന്നേക്കും പരിപാലിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്തതിയോ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും. | 27 बुराई को छोड़ भलाई कर; और तू सर्वदा बना रहेगा। |
| 28 For the LORD loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. | 29 നീതിമാന്മാർ ഭൂമിയെ അവകാശമാക്കി എന്നേക്കും അതിൽ വസിക്കും; | 28 क्योंकि यहोवा न्याय से प्रीति रखता; और अपके भक्तोंको न तजेगा। उनकी तो रक्षा सदा होती है, परन्तु दुष्टोंका वंश काट डाला जाएगा। |
| 29 The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. | 30 നീതിമാന്റെ വായ് ജ്ഞാനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാവു ന്യായം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. | 29 धर्मी लोग पृथ्वी के अधिक्कारनेी होंगे, और उस में सदा बसे रहेंगे।। |
| 30 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. | 31 തന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ കാലടികൾ വഴുതുകയില്ല. | 30 धर्मी अपके मुंह से बुद्धि की बातें करता, और न्याय का वचन कहता है। |
| 31 The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip. | 32 ദുഷ്ടൻ നീതിമാന്നായി പതിയിരുന്നു, അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു. | 31 उसके परमेश्वर की व्यवस्था उसके हृदय में बनी रहती है, उसके पैर नहीं फिसलते।। |
| 32 The wicked watches for the righteous and seeks to put him to death. | 33 യഹോവ അവനെ അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കയില്ല; ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിൽ അവനെ കുറ്റംവിധിക്കയുമില്ല. | 32 दुष्ट धर्मी की ताक में रहता है। और उसके मार डालने का यत्न करता है। |
| 33 The LORD will not abandon him to his power or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial. | 34 യഹോവെക്കായി പ്രത്യാശിച്ചു അവന്റെ വഴി പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്ക; എന്നാൽ ഭൂമിയെ അവകാശമാക്കുവാൻ അവൻ നിന്നെ ഉയർത്തും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതു നീ കാണും. | 33 यहोवा उसको उसके हाथ में न छोड़ेगा, और जब उसका विचार किया जाए तब वह उसे दोषी न ठहराएगा।। |
| 34 Wait for the LORD and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off. | 35 ദുഷ്ടൻ പ്രബലനായിരിക്കുന്നതും; സ്വദേശികമായ പച്ചവൃക്ഷംപോലെ തഴെക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു. | 34 यहोवा की बाट जोहता रह, और उसके मार्ग पर बना रह, और वह तुझे बढ़ाकर पृथ्वी का अधिक्कारनेी कर देगा; जब दुष्ट काट डाले जाएंगे, तब तू देखेगा।। |
| 35 I have seen a wicked, ruthless man, spreading himself like a green laurel tree. | 36 ഞാൻ പിന്നെ അതിലെ പോയപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഇല്ല; ഞാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചു, അവനെ കണ്ടതുമില്ല. | 35 मैं ने दुष्ट को बड़ा पराक्रमी और ऐसा फैलता हुए देखा, जैसा कोई हरा पेड़ अपके निज भूमि में फैलता है। |
| 36 But he passed away, and behold, he was no more; though I sought him, he could not be found. | 37 നിഷ്കളങ്കനെ കുറിക്കൊള്ളുക; നേരുള്ളവനെ നോക്കിക്കൊൾക; സമാധാനപുരുഷന്നു സന്തതി ഉണ്ടാകും. | 36 परन्तु जब कोई उधर से गया तो देखा कि वह वहां है ही नहीं; और मैं ने भी उसे ढूंढ़ा, परन्तु कहीं न पाया।। |
| 37 Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. | 38 എന്നാൽ അതിക്രമക്കാർ ഒരുപോലെ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്താനം ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും. | 37 खरे मनुष्य पर दृष्टि कर और धर्मी को देख, क्योंकि मेल से रहनेवाले पुरूष का अन्तफल अच्छा है। |
| 38 But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off. | 39 നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ രക്ഷ യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു വരുന്നു; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു അവൻ അവരുടെ ദുർഗ്ഗം ആകുന്നു. | 38 परन्तु अपराधी एक साथ सत्यानाश किए जाएंगे; दुष्टोंका अन्तफल सर्वनाश है।। |
| 39 The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. | 40 യഹോവ അവരെ സഹായിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; അവർ അവനിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവരെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. | 39 धर्मियोंकी मुक्ति यहोवा की ओर से होती है; संकट के समय वह उनका दृढ़ गढ़ है। |
| 40 The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. | 40 और यहोवा उनकी सहाथता करके उनको बचाता है; वह उनको दुष्टोंसे छुड़ाकर उनका उद्वार करता है, इसलिथे कि उन्होंने उस में अपक्की शरण ली है।। |
