| 1 On the third new moon after the people of Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on that day they came into the wilderness of Sinai. | 1 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്റെ മൂന്നാം മാസത്തിൽ അതേ ദിവസം അവർ സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽ എത്തി. | 1 इस्त्राएलियोंको मिस्र देश से निकले हुए जिस दिन तीन महीने बीत चुके, उसी दिन वे सीनै के जंगल में आए। |
| 2 They set out from Rephidim and came into the wilderness of Sinai, and they encamped in the wilderness. There Israel encamped before the mountain, | 2 അവർ രെഫീദീമിൽനിന്നു യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടു, സീനായിമരുഭൂമിയിൽ വന്നു, മരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി; അവിടെ പർവ്വതത്തിന്നു എതിരെ യിസ്രായേൽ പാളയമിറങ്ങി. | 2 और जब वे रपीदीम से कूच करके सीनै के जंगल में आए, तब उन्होंने जंगल में डेरे खड़े किए; और वहीं पर्वत के आगे इस्त्राएलियोंने छावनी डाली। |
| 3 while Moses went up to God. The LORD called to him out of the mountain, saying, "Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the people of Israel: | 3 മോശെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കയറിച്ചെന്നു; യഹോവ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ നിന്നു അവനോടു വിളിച്ചു കല്പിച്ചതു: നീ യാക്കോബുഗൃഹത്തോടു പറകയും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു അറിയിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: | 3 तब मूसा पर्वत पर परमेश्वर के पास चढ़ गया, और यहोवा ने पर्वत पर से उसको पुकारकर कहा, याकूब के घराने से ऐसा कह, और इस्त्राएलियोंको मेरा यह वचन सुना, |
| 4 You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to myself. | 4 ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമ്യരോടു ചെയ്തതും നിങ്ങളെ കഴുകന്മാരുടെ ചിറകിന്മേൽ വഹിച്ചു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുത്തിയതും നിങ്ങൾ കണ്ടുവല്ലോ. | 4 कि तुम ने देखा है कि मै ने मिस्रियोंसे क्या क्या किया; तुम को मानो उकाब पक्की के पंखोंपर चढ़ाकर अपके पास ले आया हूं। |
| 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine; | 5 ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടു അനുസരിക്കയും എന്റെ നിയമം പ്രമാണിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു സകലജാതികളിലുംവെച്ചു പ്രത്യേക സമ്പത്തായിരിക്കും; ഭൂമി ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതല്ലോ. | 5 इसलिथे अब यदि तुम निश्चय मेरी मानोगे, और मेरी वाचा का पालन करोगे, तो सब लोगोंमें से तुम ही मेरा निज धन ठहरोगे; समस्त पृय्वी तो मेरी है। |
| 6 and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel." | 6 നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു ഒരു പുരോഹിതരാജത്വവും വിശുദ്ധജനവും ആകും. ഇവ നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടുന്ന വചനങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു. | 6 और तुम मेरी दृष्टि में याजकोंका राज्य और पवित्र जाति ठहरोगे। जो बातें तुझे इस्त्राएलियोंसे कहनी हैं वे थे ही है। |
| 7 So Moses came and called the elders of the people and set before them all these words that the LORD had commanded him. | 7 മോശെ വന്നു ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെ വിളിച്ചു, യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ച ഈ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അവരെ പറഞ്ഞു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു. | 7 तब मूसा ने आकर लोगोंके पुरनियोंको बुलवाया, और थे सब बातें, जिनके कहने की आज्ञा यहोवा ने उसे दी यी, उनको समझा दीं। |
| 8 All the people answered together and said, "All that the LORD has spoken we will do." And Moses reported the words of the people to the LORD. | 8 യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതൊക്കെയും ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യും എന്നു ജനം ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. മോശെ ജനത്തിന്റെ വാക്കു യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു. | 8 और सब लोग मिलकर बोल उठे, जो कुछ यहोवा ने कहा है वह सब हम नित करेंगे। लोगोंकी यह बातें मूसा ने यहोवा को सुनाईं। |
| 9 And the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you forever."When Moses told the words of the people to the LORD, | 9 യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ജനം കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിന്നെ എന്നേക്കും വിശ്വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ഞാൻ ഇതാ, മേഘതമസ്സിൽ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, ജനത്തിന്റെ വാക്കു മോശെ യഹോവയോടു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു. | 9 तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, सुन, मैं बादल के अंधिक्कारने में होकर तेरे पास आता हूं, इसलिथे कि जब मैं तुझ से बातें करूं तब वे लोग सुनें, और सदा तेरी प्रतीति करें। और मूसा ने यहोवा से लोगोंकी बातोंका वर्णन किया। |
| 10 the LORD said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments | 10 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: നീ ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു ഇന്നും നാളെയും അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്ക; | 10 तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, लोगोंके पास जा और उन्हें आज और कल पवित्र करना, और वे अपके वस्त्र धो लें, |
| 11 and be ready for the third day. For on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. | 11 അവർ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി, മൂന്നാം ദിവസത്തേക്കു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കട്ടേ; മൂന്നാം ദിവസം യഹോവ സകല ജനവും കാൺകെ സീനായിപർവ്വത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങും. | 11 और वे तीसरे दिन तक तैयार हो रहें; क्योंकि तीसरे दिन यहोवा सब लोगोंके देखते सीनै पर्वत पर उतर आएगा। |
| 12 And you shall set limits for the people all around, saying, 'Take care not to go up into the mountain or touch the edge of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall be put to death. | 12 ജനം പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കയറാതെയും അതിന്റെ അടിവാരം തൊടാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നീ അവർക്കായി ചുറ്റും അതിർ തിരിക്കേണം; പർവ്വതം തൊടുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 12 और तू लोगोंके लिथे चारोंओर बाड़ा बान्ध देना, और उन से कहना, कि तुम सचेत रहोंकि पर्वत पर न चढ़ो और उसके सिवाने को भी न छूओ; और जो कोई पहाड़ को छूए वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए। |
| 13 No hand shall touch him, but he shall be stoned or shot; whether beast or man, he shall not live.' When the trumpet sounds a long blast, they shall come up to the mountain." | 13 കൈ തൊടാതെ അവനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞോ എയ്തോ കൊന്നുകളയേണം; മൃഗമായാലും മനുഷ്യനായാലും ജീവനോടിരിക്കരുതു. കാഹളം ദീർഘമായി ധ്വനിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ പർവ്വതത്തിന്നു അടുത്തു വരട്ടെ. | 13 उसको कोई हाथ से तो न छूए, परन्तु वह निश्चय पत्यरवाह किया जाए, वा तीर से छेदा जाए; चाहे पशु हो चाहे मनुष्य, वह जीवित न बचे। जब महाशब्द वाले नरसिंगे का शब्द देर तक सुनाई दे, तब लोग पर्वत के पास आएं। |
| 14 So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people; and they washed their garments. | 14 മോശെ പർവ്വതത്തിൽനിന്നു ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു ജനത്തെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു; അവർ വസ്ത്രം അലക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. | 14 तब मूसा ने पर्वत पर से उतरकर लोगोंके पास आकर उनको पवित्र कराया; और उन्होंने अपके वस्त्र धो लिए। |
| 15 And he said to the people, "Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman." | 15 അവൻ ജനത്തോടു: മൂന്നാം ദിവസത്തേക്കു ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിപ്പിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 15 और उस ने लोगोंसे कहा, तीसरे दिन तक तैयार हो रहो; स्त्री के पास न जाना। |
| 16 On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled. | 16 മൂന്നാം ദിവസം നേരം വെളുത്തപ്പോൾ ഇടിമുഴക്കവും മിന്നലും പർവ്വതത്തിൽ കാർമേഘവും മഹാഗംഭീരമായ കാഹളധ്വനിയും ഉണ്ടായി; പാളയത്തിലുള്ള ജനം ഒക്കെയും നടുങ്ങി. | 16 जब तीसरा दिन आया तब भोर होते बादल गरजने और बिजली चमकने लगी, और पर्वत पर काली घटा छा गई, फिर नरसिंगे का शब्द बड़ा भरी हुआ, और छावनी में जितने लोग थे सब कांप उठे। |
| 17 Then Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet God, and they took their stand at the foot of the mountain. | 17 ദൈവത്തെ എതിരേല്പാൻ മോശെ ജനത്തെ പാളയത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവർ പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ അടിവാരത്തുനിന്നു. | 17 तब मूसा लोगोंको परमेश्वर से भेंट करने के लिथे छावनी से निकाल ले गया; और वे पर्वत के नीचे खड़े हुए। |
| 18 Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the LORD had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly. | 18 യഹോവ തീയിൽ സീനായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങുകയാൽ അതു മുഴുവനും പുകകൊണ്ടു മൂടി; അതിന്റെ പുക തീച്ചൂളയിലെ പുകപോലെ പൊങ്ങി; പർവ്വതം ഒക്കെയും ഏറ്റവും കുലുങ്ങി. | 18 और यहोवा जो आग में होकर सीनै पर्वत पर उतरा या, इस कारण समस्त पर्वत धुएं से भर गया; और उसका धुआं भट्टे का सा उठ रहा या, और समस्त पर्वत बहुत कांप रहा या |
| 19 And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder. | 19 കാഹളധ്വനി ദീർഘമായി ഉറച്ചുറച്ചുവന്നപ്പോൾ മോശെ സംസാരിച്ചു; ദൈവം ഉച്ചത്തിൽ അവനോടു ഉത്തരം അരുളി. | 19 फिर जब नरसिंगे का शब्द बढ़ता और बहुत भारी होता गया, तब मूसा बोला, और परमेश्वर ने वाणी सुनाकर उसको उत्तर दिया। |
| 20 The LORD came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. And the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. | 20 യഹോവ സീനായി പർവ്വതത്തിൽ പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ കൊടുമുടിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങി; യഹോവ മോശെയെ പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ കൊടുമുടിയിലേക്കു വിളിച്ചു; മോശെ കയറിച്ചെന്നു. | 20 और यहोवा सीनै पर्वत की चोटी पर उतरा; और मूसा को पर्वत की चोटी पर बुलाया और मूसा ऊपर चढ़ गया। |
| 21 And the LORD said to Moses, "Go down and warn the people, lest they break through to the LORD to look and many of them perish. | 21 യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ജനം നോക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ കടന്നുവന്നിട്ടു അവരിൽ പലരും നശിച്ചുപോകാതിരിപ്പാൻ നീ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവരോടു അമർച്ചയായി കല്പിക്ക. | 21 तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, नीचे उतरके लोगोंको चितावनी दे, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि वे बाड़ा तोड़के यहोवा के पास देखने को घुसें, और उन में से बहुत नाश होंजाएं। |
| 22 Also let the priests who come near to the LORD consecrate themselves, lest the LORD break out against them." | 22 യഹോവയോടു അടുക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും യഹോവ അവർക്കു ഹാനി വരുത്താതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കട്ടെ. | 22 और याजक जो यहोवा के समीप आया करते हैं वे भी अपके को पवित्र करें, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि यहोवा उन पर टूट पके। |
| 23 And Moses said to the LORD, "The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for you yourself warned us, saying, 'Set limits around the mountain and consecrate it.'" | 23 മോശെ യഹോവയോടു: ജനത്തിന്നു സീനായിപർവ്വത്തിൽ കയറുവാൻ പാടില്ല; പർവ്വതത്തിന്നു അതിർ തിരിച്ചു അതിനെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുക എന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു അമർച്ചയായി കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 23 मूसा ने यहोवा से कहा, वे लोग सीनै पर्वत पर नहीं चढ़ सकते; तू ने तो आप हम को यह कहकर चिताया, कि पर्वत के चारोंऔर बाड़ा बान्धकर उसे पवित्र रखो। |
| 24 And the LORD said to him, "Go down, and come up bringing Aaron with you. But do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the LORD, lest he break out against them." | 24 യഹോവ അവനോടു: ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോക; നീ അഹരോനുമായി കയറിവരിക; എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ജനവും യഹോവ അവർക്കു നാശം വരുത്താതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കയറുവാൻ അതിർ കടക്കരുതു. | 24 यहोवा ने उस से कहा, उतर तो जा, और हारून समेत ऊपर आ; परन्तु याजक और साधारण लोग कहीं यहोवा के पास बाड़ा तोड़के न चढ़ आएं, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि वह उन पर टूट पके। |
| 25 So Moses went down to the people and told them. | 25 അങ്ങനെ മോശെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു. | 25 थे ही बातें मूसा ने लोगोंके पास उतरके उनको सुनाईं।। |
