| 4 The sound of a tumult is on the mountains as of a great multitude! The sound of an uproar of kingdoms, of nations gathering together! | 5 They come from a distant land, from the end of the heavens, the LORD and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. | 5 ദേശത്തെ ഒക്കെയും നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്നും ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നും യഹോവയും അവന്റെ കോപത്തിന്റെ ആയുധങ്ങളും വരുന്നു. | 5 वे दूर देश से, आकाश के छोर से आए हैं, हाँ, यहोवा अपके क्रोध के हयियारोंसमेत सारे देश को नाश करने के लिथे आया है।। |
| 6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is near; as destruction from the Almighty it will come! | 6 യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു മുറയിടുവിൻ; അതു സർവ്വശക്തങ്കൽനിന്നു സർവ്വനാശംപോലെ വരുന്നു. | 6 हाथ-हाथ करो, क्योंकि यहोवा का दिन समीप है; वह सर्वशक्तिमान् की ओर से मानो सत्यानाश करने के लिथे आता है। |

| 8 They will be dismayed: pangs and agony will seize them; they will be in anguish like a woman in labor. | 10 For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be dark at its rising, and the moon will not shed its light. | 10 ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളും നക്ഷത്രരാശികളും പ്രകാശം തരികയില്ല; സൂര്യൻ ഉദയത്തിങ്കൽ തന്നേ ഇരുണ്ടു പോകും; ചന്ദ്രൻ പ്രകാശം നല്കുകയുമില്ല. | 10 क्योंकि आकाश के तारागण और बड़े बड़े नझत्र अपना प्रकाश न देंगे, और सूर्य उदय होते होते अन्धेरा हो जाएगा, और चन्द्रमा अपना प्रकाश न देगा। |
