| 9 Astonish yourselves and be astonished; blind yourselves and be blind! Be drunk, but not with wine; stagger, but not with strong drink! | 9 വിസ്മയിച്ചു സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകുവിൻ; അന്ധതപിടിച്ചു കുരുടരായിത്തീരുവിൻ; അവർ മത്തരായിരിക്കുന്നു. വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടല്ലതാനും; അവർ ചാഞ്ചാടിനടക്കുന്നു; മദ്യപാനംകൊണ്ടല്ലതാനും. | 9 ठहर जाओ और चकित होओ! वे मतवाले तो हैं, परन्तु दाखमधु से नहीं, वे डगमगाते तो हैं, परन्तु मदिरा पीने से नहीं! |
| 10 For the LORD has poured out upon you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes (the prophets), and covered your heads (the seers). | 10 യഹോവ ഗാഢനിദ്ര നിങ്ങളുടെമേൽ പകർന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണുകളെ അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദർശകന്മാരായ തലവന്മാർക്കും മൂടുപടം ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. | 10 यहोवा ने तुम को भारी नींद में डाल दिया है और उस ने तुम्हारी नबीरूपी आंखोंको बन्द कर दिया है और तुम्हारे दर्शीरूपी सिरोंपर पर्दा डाला है। |
| 11 And the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed. | 15 Ah, you who hide deep from the LORD your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, "Who sees us? | 16 You turn things upside down! | 17 Is it not yet a very little while until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest? | 17 ഇനി അല്പകാലംകൊണ്ടു ലെബാനോൻ ഒരു ഉദ്യാനമായി തീരുകയും ഉദ്യാനം വനമായി എണ്ണപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്കയില്ലയോ? | 17 क्या अब योड़े ही दिनोंके बीतने पर लबानोन फिर फलदाई बारी न बन जाएगा, और फलदाई बारी जंगल न गिनी जएगी? |

| 20 For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off, | 20 നിഷ്കണ്ടകൻ നാസ്തിയായും പരിഹാസി ഇല്ലാതെയായും ഇരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 20 क्योंकि उपद्रवी फिर न रहेंगे और ठट्ठा करनेवालोंका अन्त होगा, और जो अनर्य करने के लिथे जागते रहते हैं, जो मनुष्योंको वचन में फंसाते हैं, |
| 21 who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right. | 21 മനുഷ്യരെ വ്യവഹാരത്തിൽ കുറ്റക്കാരാക്കുകയും പട്ടണ വാതിൽക്കൽ ന്യായം വിസ്തരിക്കുന്നവന്നു കണിവെക്കയും നീതിമാനെ നിസ്സാരകാര്യംകൊണ്ടു ബഹിഷ്കരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരായി നീതികേടിന്നു ജാഗ്രതയുള്ള ഏവരും ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു. | 21 और जो सभा में उलहना देते उनके लिथे फंदा लगाते, और धर्म को व्यर्य बात के द्वारा बिगाड़ देते हैं, वे सब मिट जाएंगे।। |
