| 4 Because of the ground that is dismayed, since there is no rain on the land, the farmers are ashamed; they cover their heads. | 4 ദേശത്തു മഴയില്ലായ്കയാൽ നിലം ഉണങ്ങി വിണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഉഴവുകാർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു തല മൂടുന്നു. | 4 देश में पानी न बरसने से भूमि में दरार पड़ गए हैं, इस कारण किसान लोग निराश होकर सिर ढांप लेते हैं। |
| 5 Even the doe in the field forsakes her newborn fawn because there is no grass. | 5 മാൻപേട വയലിൽ പ്രസവിച്ചിട്ടു പുല്ലില്ലായ്കയാൽ കുട്ടിയെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. | 5 हरिणी भी मैदान में बच्चा जनकर छोड़ जाती है क्योंकि हरी घास नहीं मिलती। |

| 9 Why should you be like a man confused, like a mighty warrior who cannot save? | 11 The LORD said to me: "Do not pray for the welfare of this people. | 11 യഹോവ എന്നോടു: നീ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി അവരുടെ നന്മെക്കായി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കരുതു; | 11 फिर यहोवा ने मुझ से कहा, इस प्रजा की भलाई के लिथे प्रार्यना मत कर। |
| 12 Though they fast, I will not hear their cry, and though they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. | 14 And the LORD said to me: "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds. | 14 യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: പ്രവാചകന്മാർ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഭോഷ്കു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ല, അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടുമില്ല; അവർ വ്യാജദർശനവും പ്രശ്നവാക്യവും ഇല്ലാത്ത കാര്യവും സ്വന്തഹൃദയത്തിലെ വഞ്ചനയും നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നു. | 14 और यहोवा ने मुझ से कहा, थे भविष्यद्वक्ता मेरा नाम लेकर फूठी भविष्यद्वाणी करते हैं, मैं ने उनको न तो भेजा और न कुछ आज्ञा दी और न उन से कोई भी बात कही। वे तुम लोगोंसे दर्शन का फूठा दावा करके अपके ही मन से व्यर्य और धोखे की भविष्यद्वाणी करते हैं। |
| 15 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name although I did not send them, and who say, 'Sword and famine shall not come upon this land': By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed. | 15 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ: ഞാൻ അയക്കാതെ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ പ്രവചിക്കയും ഈ ദേശത്തു വാളും ക്ഷാമവും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും ആ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; | 15 इस कारण जो भविष्यद्वक्ता मेरे बिना भेजे मेरा नाम लेकर भविष्यद्वाणी करते हैं कि उस देश में न तो तलवार चलेगी और न महंगी होगी, उनके विषय यहोवा योंकहता है, कि, वे भविष्यद्वक्ता आप तलवार और महंगी के द्वारा नाश किए जाएंगे। |
| 16 And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem, victims of famine and sword, with none to bury them--them, their wives, their sons, and their daughters. | 17 "You shall say to them this word: 'Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease, for the virgin daughter of my people is shattered with a great wound, with a very grievous blow. | 17 നീ ഈ വചനം അവരോടു പറയേണം: എന്റെ കണ്ണിൽനിന്നു രാവും പകലും ഇടവിടാതെ കണ്ണുനീർ ഒഴുകട്ടെ; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിയായ കന്യക കഠിനമായി തകർന്നും വ്യസനകരമായി മുറിവേറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു. | 17 तू उन से यह बात कह, मेरी ओखोंसे दिन रात आंसू लगातार बहते रहें, वे न रुकें क्योंकि मेरे लोगोंकी कुंवारी बेटी बहुत ही कुचक्की गई और घायल हुई है। |
| 18 If I go out into the field, behold, those pierced by the sword! And if I enter the city, behold, the diseases of famine! | 19 Have you utterly rejected Judah? Does your soul loathe Zion? Why have you struck us down so that there is no healing for us? | 20 We acknowledge our wickedness, O LORD, and the iniquity of our fathers, for we have sinned against you. | 20 യഹോവേ ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യവും അറിയുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നോടു പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. | 20 हे यहोवा, हम अपक्की दुष्टता और अपके पुरखाओं के अधर्म को भी मान लेते हैं, क्योंकि हम ने तेरे विरुद्ध पाप किया है। |

| 22 Are there any among the false gods of the nations that can bring rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are you not he, O LORD our God?
