| 6 "My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains. From mountain to hill they have gone. | 9 For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon a gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be taken. | 12 your mother shall be utterly shamed, and she who bore you shall be disgraced. | 17 "Israel is a hunted sheep driven away by lions. | 20 In those days and in that time, declares the LORD, iniquity shall be sought in Israel, and there shall be none. | 21 "Go up against the land of Merathaim, and against the inhabitants of Pekod. | 22 The noise of battle is in the land, and great destruction! | 22 യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ ആരവവും മഹാസംഹാരവും ദേശത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു. | 22 सुनो, उस देश में युद्व और सत्यानाश का सा शब्द हो रहा है। |
| 23 How the hammer of the whole earth is cut down and broken! | 24 I set a snare for you and you were taken, O Babylon, and you did not know it; you were found and caught, because you opposed the LORD. | 24 ബാബേലേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു കണിവെച്ചു, നീ അറിയാതെ അകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തി പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവയോടല്ലോ നീ പൊരുതിയതു. | 24 हे बाबुल, मैं ने तेरे लिथे फन्दा लगाया, और तू अनजाने उस में फँस भी गया; तू ढूंढ़कर पकड़ा गया है, क्योंकि तू यहोवा का विरोध करता या। |

| 27 Kill all her bulls; let them go down to the slaughter. | 29 "Summon archers against Babylon, all those who bend the bow. Encamp around her; let no one escape. Repay her according to her deeds; do to her according to all that she has done. | 30 Therefore her young men shall fall in her squares, and all her soldiers shall be destroyed on that day, declares the LORD. | 30 അതുകൊണ്ടു അതിലെ യൌവനക്കാർ അതിന്റെ വീഥികളിൽ വീഴും; അതിലെ യോദ്ധാക്കാൾ ഒക്കെയും അന്നു നശിച്ചുപോകും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 30 इस कारण उसके जवान चौकोंमें गिराए जाएंगे, और सब योद्वाओं का बोल बन्द हो जाएगा, यहोवा की यही वाणी है। |
| 31 "Behold, I am against you, O proud one, declares the Lord GOD of hosts, for your day has come, the time when I will punish you. | 31 അഹങ്കാരിയോ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധിയായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു; നിന്റെ നാൾ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സന്ദർശിക്കുന്ന കാലം, വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. | 31 प्रभु सेनाओं के यहोवा की यह वाणी है, हे अभिमानी, मैं तेरे विरुद्व हूँ; तेरे दण्ड पाने का दिन आ गया है। |
| 32 The proud one shall stumble and fall, with none to raise him up, and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it will devour all that is around him. | 32 അഹങ്കാരി ഇടറി വീഴും; ആരും അവനെ എഴുന്നേല്പിക്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ അവന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കു തീ വെക്കും; അതു അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവരെയും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും. | 32 अभिमानी ठोकर खाकर गिरेगा ओर कोई उसे फिर न उठाएगा; और मैं उसके नगरोंमें आग लगाऊंगा जिस से उसके चारोंओर सब कुछ भस्म हो जाएगा। |
| 33 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah with them. All who took them captive have held them fast; they refuse to let them go. | 33 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളും യെഹൂദാമക്കളും ഒരുപോലെ പീഡിതരായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരെ ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോയവരൊക്കെയും അവരെ വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ മനസ്സില്ലാതെ മുറുകെ പിടിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു. | 33 सेनाओं का यहोवा योंकहता है, इस्राएल और यहूदा दोनोंबराबर पिसे हुए हैं; और जितनोंने उनको बंधुआ किया वे उन्हें पकड़े रहते हैं, और जाने नहीं देते। |
| 34 Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name. | 35 "A sword against the Chaldeans, declares the LORD, and against the inhabitants of Babylon, and against her officials and her wise men! | 35 കല്ദയരുടെ മേലും ബാബേൽനിവാസികളുടെമേലും അതിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ മേലും ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ മേലും വാൾ വരുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 35 यहोवा की यह वाणी है, कसदियोंऔर बाबुल के हाकिम, पण्डित आदि सब निवासियोंपर तलवार चलेगी ! |
| 36 A sword against the diviners, that they may become fools! A sword against her warriors, that they may be destroyed! | 36 വമ്പു പറയുന്നവർ ഭോഷന്മാരാകത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവരുടെ മേൽ വാൾ വരും; അതിലെ വീരന്മാർ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവരുടെ മേലും വാൾ വരും. | 36 बड़ा बोल बोलनेवालोंपर तलवार चलेगी, और वे मूर्ख बनेंगे ! उसके शूरवीरोंपर भी तलवार चलेगी, और वे विस्मित हो जाएंगे ! |
| 37 A sword against her horses and against her chariots, and against all the foreign troops in her midst, that they may become women! | 38 A drought against her waters, that they may be dried up! | 39 "Therefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. | 40 As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, declares the LORD, so no man shall dwell there, and no son of man shall sojourn in her. | 40 ദൈവം സൊദോമും ഗൊമോരയും അവയുടെ അയൽ പട്ടണങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം എന്നപോലെ അവിടെയും ആരും പാർക്കയില്ല; ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും അവിടെ വസിക്കയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 40 यहोवा की यह वाणी है, कि सदोम और अमोरा और उनके आस पास के नगरोंकी जैसी दशा उस समय हुई यी जब परमेश्वरने उनको उलट दिया या, वैसी ही दशा बाबुल की भी होगी, यहां तक कि कोई मनुष्य उस में न रह सकेगा, और न कोई आदमी उस में टिकेगा। |
| 41 "Behold, a people comes from the north; a mighty nation and many kings are stirring from the farthest parts of the earth. | 41 വടക്കുനിന്നു ഒരു ജാതി വരുന്നു; ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ഒരു മഹാജാതിയും അനേകം രാജാക്കന്മാരും ഇളകിവരുന്നു. | 41 सुनो, उत्तर दिशा से एक देश के लोग आते हैं, और पृय्वी की छोर से एक बड़ी जाति और बहुत से राजा उठकर चढ़ाई करेंगे। |
| 42 They lay hold of bow and spear; they are cruel and have no mercy. | 43 "The king of Babylon heard the report of them, and his hands fell helpless; anguish seized him, pain as of a woman in labor. | 43 ബാബേൽരാജാവു അവരുടെ വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടിട്ടു അവന്റെ ധൈര്യം ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയി; നോവുകിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ അവനെ അതിവ്യസനവും വേദനയും പിടിച്ചു. | 43 उनका समाचार सुनते ही बाबुल के राजा के हाथ पांव ढीले पड़ गए, और उसको ज़च्चा की सी पीड़ें उठीं। |
| 44 "Behold, like a lion coming up from the thicket of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make them run away from her, and I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? | 45 Therefore hear the plan that the LORD has made against Babylon, and the purposes that he has formed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of their flock shall be dragged away; surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate. | 45 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ബാബേലിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ആലോചിച്ച ആലേചനയും കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു നിരൂപിച്ച നിരൂപണങ്ങളും കേൾപ്പിൻ! ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ചെറിയവരെ അവർ ഇഴെച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകും; അവൻ അവരുടെ മേച്ചൽപുറങ്ങളെ അവരോടുകൂടെ ശൂന്യമാക്കിക്കളയും. | 45 सो सुनो कि यहोवा ने बाबुल के विरुद्व क्या युक्ति की है और कसदियोंके देश के विरुद्व कौन सी कल्पना की है: निश्चय वह भेड़-बकरियोंके बच्चोंको घसीट ले जाएगा, निश्चय वह उनकी चराइयोंको भेड़-बकरियोंसे खाली कर देगा। |
| 46 At the sound of the capture of Babylon the earth shall tremble, and her cry shall be heard among the nations." | 46 ബാബേൽ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്ന ഘോഷംകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമി നടുങ്ങുന്നു; അതിന്റെ നിലവിളി ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കേൾക്കുന്നു. | 46 बाबुल के लूट लिए जाने के शब्द से पृय्वी कांप उठी है, और उसकी चिल्लाहट जातियोंमें सुनाई पड़ती है। |
