Blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and raise a signal on Beth-haccherem, for disaster looms out of the north, and great destruction. | 1 ബെന്യാമീൻമക്കളേ, യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഓടിപ്പോകുവിൻ; തെക്കോവയിൽ കാഹളം ഊതുവിൻ; ബേത്ത്-ഹക്കേരെമിൽ ഒരു തീക്കുറി ഉയർത്തുവിൻ വടക്കു നിന്നു അനർത്ഥവും മഹാ നാശവും കാണായ്‍വരുന്നു. | 1 हे बिन्यामीनियो, यरूशलेम में से अपना अपना सामान लेकर भागो ! तकोआ में नरसिंगा फूंको, और बेय्क्केरेम पर फण्डा ऊंचा करो; क्योंकि उत्तर की दिशा से आनेवाली विपत्ति बड़ी और विनाश लानेवाली है। |
| 2 The lovely and delicately bred I will destroy, the daughter of Zion. | 2 സുന്ദരിയും സുഖഭോഗിനിയുമായ സീയോൻ പുത്രിയെ ഞാൻ മുടിച്ചുകളയും. | 2 सिय्योन की सुन्दर और सुकुमार बेटी को मैं नाश करने पर हूँ। |
| 3 Shepherds with their flocks shall come against her; they shall pitch their tents around her; they shall pasture, each in his place. | 3 അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഇടയന്മാർ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വരും; അവർ അവൾക്കെതിരെ ചുറ്റിലും കൂടാരം അടിക്കും; അവർ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ഭാഗത്തു മേയിക്കും. | 3 चरवाहे अपक्की अपक्की भेड़-बकरियां संग लिए हुए उस पर चढ़कर उसके चारोंओर अपके तम्बू खड़े करेंगे, वे अपके अपके पास की घास चरा लेंगे। |
| 4 "Prepare war against her; arise, and let us attack at noon! Woe to us, for the day declines, for the shadows of evening lengthen! | 4 അതിന്റെ നേരെ പടയൊരുക്കുവിൻ! എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ ഉച്ചെക്കു തന്നേ നമുക്കു കയറിച്ചെല്ലാം! അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നേരം വൈകി നിഴൽ നീണ്ടുപോയി. | 4 आओ, उसके विरुद्ध युद्ध की तैयारी करो; उठो, हम दो पहर को चढ़ाई करें ! हाथ, हाथ, दिन ढलता जाता है, और सांफ की परछाई लम्बी हो चक्की है ! |

This is the city that must be punished; there is nothing but oppression within her. | 6 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിക്കുന്നു: വൃക്ഷം മുറിപ്പിൻ! യെരൂശലേമിന്നു നേരെ വാട കോരുവിൻ! സന്ദർശിക്കപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള നഗരം ഇതുതന്നേ; അതിന്റെ അകം മുഴുവനും പീഡനം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; | 6 सेनाओं का यहोवा तुम से कहता है, वृझ काट काटकर यरूशलेम के विरुद्व दमदमा बान्धो ! यह वही नगर है जो दणड के योग्य है; इस में अन्धेर ही अनधेर भरा हुआ है। |
| 7 As a well keeps its water fresh, so she keeps fresh her evil; violence and destruction are heard within her; sickness and wounds are ever before me. | 7 കിണറ്റിൽ പച്ചവെള്ളം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അതിൽ എപ്പോഴും പുതിയ ദുഷ്ടത സംഭവിക്കുന്നു; സാഹസവും കവർച്ചയുമേ അവിടെ കേൾപ്പാനുള്ളു; എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ എപ്പോഴും ദീനവും മുറിവും മാത്രമേയുള്ളു. | 7 जैसा कूएं में से नित्य नया जल निकला करता है, वैसा ही इस नगर में से नित्य नई बुराई निकलती है; इस में उत्पात और उपद्रव का कोलाहल मचा रहता है; चोट और मारपीट मेरे देखने में निरन्तर आती है। |
| 8 Be warned, O Jerusalem, lest I turn from you in disgust, lest I make you a desolation, an uninhabited land." | 8 യെരൂശലേമേ, എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നിന്നെ വിട്ടുപിരിയാതെയും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശൂന്യവും നിർജ്ജനപ്രദേശവും ആക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഉപദേശം കൈക്കൊൾക. | 8 हे यरूशलेम, ताड़ना से ही मान ले, नहीं तो तू मेरे मन से भी उतर जाएगी; और, मैं तुझ को उजाड़कर निर्जन कर डालूंगा। |
| 9 Thus says the LORD of hosts: "They shall glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel; like a grape-gatherer pass your hand again over its branches." | 9 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെ മുന്തിരിപ്പഴംപോലെ അരിച്ചു പറിക്കും; മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെ നിന്റെ കൈ വീണ്ടും വള്ളികളിലേക്കു നീട്ടുക. | 9 सेनाओं का यहोवा योंकहता है, इस्राएल के सब बचे हुए दाखलता की नाई ढूंढ़कर तोड़े जाएंगे; दाखके तोड़नेवाले की नाई उस लता की डालियोंपर फिर अपना हाथ लगा। |
| 10 To whom shall I speak and give warning, that they may hear? Behold, their ears are uncircumcised, they cannot listen; behold, the word of the LORD is to them an object of scorn; they take no pleasure in it. | 10 അവർ കേൾപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ ആരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കേണ്ടു? അവരുടെ ചെവിക്കു പരിച്ഛേദന ഇല്ലായ്കയാൽ ശ്രദ്ധിപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു കഴികയില്ല; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം അവർക്കു നിന്ദയായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർക്കു അതിൽ ഇഷ്ടമില്ല. | 10 मैं किस से बोलूं और किसको चिताकर कहूं कि वे मानें? देख, थे ऊंचा सुनते हैं, वे ध्यान भी नहीं दे सकते; देख, यहोवा के वचन की वे निन्दा करते और उसे नहीं चाहते हैं। |
| 11 Therefore I am full of the wrath of the LORD; I am weary of holding it in. "Pour it out upon the children in the street, and upon the gatherings of young men, also; both husband and wife shall be taken, the elderly and the very aged. | 11 ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു അടക്കിവെച്ചു ഞാൻ തളർന്നുപോയി; ഞാൻ അതു വീഥികളിലെ കുട്ടികളിന്മേലും യൌവനക്കാരുടെ സംഘത്തിന്മേലും ഒരുപോലെ ഒഴിച്ചുകളയും; ഭർത്താവും ഭാര്യയും വൃദ്ധനും വയോധികനും കൂടെ പിടിപെടും. | 11 इस कारण यहोवा का कोप मेरे मन में भर गया हे; मैं उसे रोकते रोकते उकता गया हूँ। बाज़ारोंमें बच्चोंपर और जवानोंकी सभा में भी उसे उंडेल दे; क्योंकि पति अपक्की पत्नी के साय और अधेड़ बूढ़े के साय पकड़ा जाएगा। |
| 12 Their houses shall be turned over to others, their fields and wives together, for I will stretch out my hand against the inhabitants of the land," declares the LORD. | 12 അവരുടെ വീടുകളും നിലങ്ങളും ഭാര്യമാരും എല്ലാം അന്യന്മാർക്കു ആയിപ്പോകും; ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈ ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളുടെ നേരെ നീട്ടും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 12 उन लोगोंके घर और खेत और स्त्रियां सब औरोंको हो जाएंगीं; क्योंकि मैं इस देश के रहनेवालोंपर हाथ बढ़ाऊंगा, यहोवा की यही वाणी है। |
| 13 "For from the least to the greatest of them, everyone is greedy for unjust gain; and from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely. | 13 അവരൊക്കെയും ആബാലവൃദ്ധം ദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹികൾ ആകുന്നു; പ്രവാചകന്മാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ഒരുപോലെ വ്യാജം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. | 13 क्योंकि उन में छोटे से लेकर बड़े तक सब के सब लालची हैं; और क्या भविष्यद्वक्ता क्या याजक सब के सब छल से काम करते हैं। |
| 14 They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, 'Peace, peace,' when there is no peace. | 14 സമാധാനം ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കെ, സമാധാനം സമാധാനം എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മുറിവിന്നു ലഘുവായി ചികിത്സിക്കുന്നു. | 14 वे, “शान्ति है, शान्ति,” ऐसा कह कहकर मेरी प्रजा के घाव को ऊपर ही ऊपर चंगा करते हैं, परन्तु शान्ति कुछ भी नहीं। |
| 15 Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown," says the LORD. | 15 മ്ലേച്ഛത പ്രവർത്തിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; അവർ ലജ്ജിക്കയോ നാണം അറികയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു വീഴുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവർ വീണുപോകും; ഞാൻ അവരെ സന്ദർശിക്കുന്ന കാലത്തു അവർ ഇടറി വീഴും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 15 क्या वे कभी अपके घृणित कामोंके कारण लज्जित हुए? नहीं, वे कुछ भी लज्जित नहीं हुए; वे लज्जित होना जानते ही नहीं; इस कारण जब और लोग नीचे गिरें, तब वे भी गिरेंगे, और जब मैं उनको दणड देने लगूंगा, तब वे ठोकर खाकर गिरेंगे, यहोवा का यही वचन है। |
| 16 Thus says the LORD: "Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it.' | 16 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ വഴികളിൽ ചെന്നു നല്ലവഴി ഏതെന്നു പഴയ പാതകളെ നോക്കി ചോദിച്ചു അതിൽ നടപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സിന്നു വിശ്രാമം ലഭിക്കും. അവരോ: ഞങ്ങൾ അതിൽ നടക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 16 यहोवा योंभी कहता है, सड़कोंपर खडे होकर देखो, और पूछो कि प्राचीनकाल का अच्छा मार्ग कौन सा है, उसी में चलो, और तुम अपके अपके मन में चैन पाओगे। पर उन्होंने कहा, हम उस पर न चलेंगे। |
| 17 I set watchmen over you, saying, 'Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, 'We will not pay attention.' | 17 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കാവൽക്കാരെ ആക്കി: കാഹളനാദം ശ്രദ്ധിപ്പിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ അവർ: ഞങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 17 मैं ने तुम्हारे लिथे पहरुए बैठाकर कहा, नरसिंगे का शब्द ध्यान से सुनना ! पर उन्होंने कहा, हम न सुनेंगे। |
| 18 Therefore hear, O nations, and know, O congregation, what will happen to them. | 18 അതുകൊണ്ടു ജാതികളേ, കേൾപ്പിൻ; സഭയേ, അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നടക്കുന്നതു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക. | 18 इसलिथे, हे जातियो, सुनो, और हे मण्डली, देख, कि इन लोगोंमें क्या हो रहा है। |
| 19 Hear, O earth; behold, I am bringing disaster upon this people, the fruit of their devices, because they have not paid attention to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it. | 19 ഭൂമിയോ, കേൾക്ക; ഈ ജനം എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതെ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ നിരസിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു, ഞാൻ അവരുടെ വിചാരങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമായി അനർത്ഥം അവരുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും. | 19 हे पृय्वी, सुन; देख, कि मैं इस जाति पर वह विपत्ति ले आऊंगा जो उनकी कल्पनाओं का फल है, क्योंकि इन्होंने मेरे वचनोंपर ध्यान नहीं लगाया, और मेरी शिझा को इन्होंने निकम्मी जाना है। |
| 20 What use to me is frankincense that comes from Sheba, or sweet cane from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing to me. | 20 ശെബയിൽനിന്നു കുന്തുരുക്കവും ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്നു വയമ്പും എനിക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതു എന്തിനു? നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളിൽ എനിക്കു പ്രസാദമില്ല; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളിൽ എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടവുമില്ല. | 20 मेरे लिथे जो लोबान शबा से, और सुगन्धित नरकट जो दूर देश से आता है, इसका क्या प्रयोजन है? तुम्हारे होमबलियोंसे मैं प्रसन्न नहीं हूँ, और न तुम्हारे मेलबलि मुझे मीठे लगते हैं। |
| 21 Therefore thus says the LORD: 'Behold, I will lay before this people stumbling blocks against which they shall stumble; fathers and sons together, neighbor and friend shall perish.'" | 21 ആകയാൽ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടർച്ചകളെ വെക്കും; പിതാക്കന്മാരും പുത്രന്മാരും ഒരുപോലെ അതിന്മേൽ തട്ടി വീഴും; അയൽക്കാരനും കൂട്ടുകാരനും നശിച്ചുപോകും. | 21 इस कारण यहोवा ने योंकहा है, देखो, मैं इस प्रजा के आगे ठोकर खाऊंगा, और बाप और बेटा, पड़ोसी और मित्र, सब के सब ठोकर खाकर नाश होंगे। |
| 22 Thus says the LORD: "Behold, a people is coming from the north country, a great nation is stirring from the farthest parts of the earth. | 22 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, വടക്കുദേശത്തുനിന്നു ഒരു ജാതി വരുന്നു; ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ഒരു മഹാജാതി ഉണർന്നുവരും. | 22 यहोवा योंकहता है, देखो, उत्तर से वरन पृय्वी की छोर से एक बड़ी जाति के लोग इस देश के विरोध में उभारे जाएंगे। |
| 23 They lay hold on bow and javelin; they are cruel and have no mercy; the sound of them is like the roaring sea; they ride on horses, set in array as a man for battle, against you, O daughter of Zion!" | 23 അവർ വില്ലും കുന്തവും എടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ക്രൂരന്മാർ; കരുണയില്ലാത്തവർ തന്നേ; അവരുടെ ആരവം കടൽപോലെ ഇരെക്കുന്നു; സീയോൻ പുത്രീ, അവർ നിന്റെ നേരെ യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി ഓരോരുത്തരും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി അണിനിരന്നു നില്ക്കുന്നു. | 23 वे धनुष और बछीं धारण किए हुए आएंगे, वे क्रूर और निर्दय हैं, और जब वे बोलते हैं तब मानो समुद्र गरजता है; वे घोड़ोंपर चढ़े हुए आएंगे, हे सिय्योन, वे वीर की नाई सशस्त्र होकर तुझ पर चढ़ाई करेंगे। |
| 24 We have heard the report of it; our hands fall helpless; anguish has taken hold of us, pain as of a woman in labor. | 24 അതിന്റെ വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടിട്ടു ഞങ്ങളുടെ ധൈര്യം ക്ഷയിച്ചു, നോവു കിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ മഹാവ്യസനവും അതിവേദനയും ഞങ്ങളെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 24 इसका समाचार सुनते ही हमारे हाथ ढीले पड़ गए हैं; हम संकट में पके हैं; जच्चा की सी पीड़ा हम को उठी है। |
| 25 Go not out into the field, nor walk on the road, for the enemy has a sword; terror is on every side. | 25 നിങ്ങൾ വയലിലേക്കു ചെല്ലരുതു; വഴിയിൽ നടക്കയുമരുതു; അവിടെ ശത്രുവിന്റെ വാളും ചുറ്റും ഭയവും ഉണ്ടു. | 25 मैदान में मत निकलो, मार्ग में भी न चलो; क्योंकि वहां शत्रु की तलवार और चारोंओर भय देख पड़ता है। |
| 26 O daughter of my people, put on sackcloth, and roll in ashes; make mourning as for an only son, most bitter lamentation, for suddenly the destroyer will come upon us. | 26 എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രീ, രട്ടുടുത്തു വെണ്ണീറിൽ ഉരുളുക; ഏകജാതനെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്നപോലെയുള്ള ദുഃഖവും കഠിനമായുള്ള വിലാപവും കഴിച്ചുകൊൾക; സംഹാരകൻ പെട്ടെന്നു നമ്മുടെ നേരെ വരും. | 26 हे मेरी प्रजा कमर में टाट बान्ध, और राख में लोट; जैसा एकलौते पुत्र के लिथे विलाप होता है वैसा ही बड़ा शोकमय विलाप कर; क्योंकि नाश करनेवाला हम पर अचानक आ पकेगा। |
| 27 "I have made you a tester of metals among my people, that you may know and test their ways. | 27 നീ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടപ്പു പരീക്ഷിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു പരീക്ഷകനും മാറ്റുനോക്കുന്നവനും ആക്കിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 27 मैं ने इसलिथे तुझे अपक्की प्रजा के बीच गुम्मट वा गढ़ ठहरा दिया कि तू उनकी चाल परखे और जान ले। |
| 28 They are all stubbornly rebellious, going about with slanders; they are bronze and iron; all of them act corruptly. | 28 അവരെല്ലാവരും മഹാ മത്സരികൾ, നുണപറഞ്ഞു നടക്കുന്നവർ; ചെമ്പും ഇരിമ്പും അത്രേ; അവരെല്ലാവരും വഷളത്വം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. | 28 वे सब बहुत ही हटी हैं, वे लुतराई करते फिरते हैं; उन सभोंकी चाल बिगड़ी है, वे निरा ताम्बा और लोहा ही हैं। |
| 29 The bellows blow fiercely; the lead is consumed by the fire; in vain the refining goes on, for the wicked are not removed. | 29 തുരുത്തി ഊതുന്നു; തീയിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നതു ഈയമത്രേ; ഊതിക്കഴിക്കുന്ന പണി വെറുതെ; ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ നീങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നില്ലല്ലോ. | 29 घैंकनी जल गई, शीशा आग में जल गया; ढालनेवाले ने व्यर्य ही ढाला है; क्योंकि बुरे लोग नहीं निकाले गए। |
| 30 Rejected silver they are called, for the LORD has rejected them." | 30 യഹോവ അവരെ ത്യജിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു കറക്കൻ വെള്ളി എന്നു പേരാകും. | 30 उनका नाम खोटी चान्दी पकेगा, क्योंकि यहोवा ने उनको खोटा पाया है। |
