| 1 Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, "Bring near the executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand." | 1 അനന്തരം ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെ അവൻ അത്യുച്ചത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചു നഗരത്തിന്റെ സന്ദർശനങ്ങളെ അടുത്തു വരുമാറാക്കുവിൻ; ഓരോരുത്തനും നാശകരമായ ആയുധം കയ്യിൽ എടുക്കട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. | 1 फिर उस ने मेरे कानोंमें ऊंचे शब्द से पुकारकर कहा, नगर के अधिक्कारनेियोंको अपके अपके हाथ में नाश करने का हयियार लिए हुए निकट लाओ। |
| 2 And behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his weapon for slaughter in his hand, and with them was a man clothed in linen, with a writing case at his waist. | 3 Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub on which it rested to the threshold of the house. | 5 And to the others he said in my hearing, "Pass through the city after him, and strike. Your eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity. | 5 മറ്റേവരോടു ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെ അവൻ: നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നഗരത്തിൽകൂടി ചെന്നു വെട്ടുവിൻ! നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണിന്നു ആദരവു തോന്നരുതു; നിങ്ങൾ കരുണ കാണിക്കയുമരുതു. | 5 तब उस ने मेरे सुनते हुए दूसरोंसे कहा, नगर में उनके पीछे पीछे चलकर मारते जाओ; किसी पर दया न करना और न कोमलता से काम करना। |
| 6 Kill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but touch no one on whom is the mark. And begin at my sanctuary." | 7 Then he said to them, "Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out." | 8 And while they were striking, and I was left alone, I fell upon my face, and cried, "Ah, Lord GOD! | 9 Then he said to me, "The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great. The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. | 10 As for me, my eye will not spare, nor will I have pity; I will bring their deeds upon their heads." | 10 ഞാനോ എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു ആദരവു തോന്നാതെയും ഞാൻ കരുണ കാണിക്കാതെയും അവരുടെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവരുടെ തലമേൽ പകരം കൊടുക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. | 10 इसलिथे उन पर दया न होगी, न मैं कोमलता करूंगा, वरन उनकी चाल उन्हीं के सिर लौटा दूंगा। |
| 11 And behold, the man clothed in linen, with the writing case at his waist, brought back word, saying, "I have done as you commanded me." | 11 ശണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു അരയിൽ മഷിക്കുപ്പിയുമായുള്ള പുരുഷൻ: എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാൻ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വസ്തുത ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു. | 11 तब मैं ने क्या देखा, कि जो पुरुष सन का वस्त्र पहिने हुए और कमर में दवात बान्धे या, उस ने यह कहकर समाचार दिया, जैसे तू ने आज्ञा दी, मैं ने वैसे ही किया है। |
