| 1 Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land; | 1 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ; യഹോവെക്കു ദേശനിവാസികളോടു ഒരു വ്യവഹാരം ഉണ്ടു; ദേശത്തു സത്യവും ഇല്ല, ദയയും ഇല്ല, ദൈവപരിജ്ഞാനവുമില്ല. | 1 हे इस्राएलियों, यहोवा का वचन सुनो; इस देश के निवासियोंके साय यहोवा का मुकद्दमा है। इस दंश में न तो कुछ सच्चाई है, न कुछ करूणा और न कुछ परमेश्वर का ज्ञान ही है। |
| 2 there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed. | 2 അവർ ആണയിടുന്നു; ഭോഷ്കു പറയുന്നു; കൊല ചെയ്യുന്നു; മോഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു; വ്യഭിചരിക്കുന്നു; വീടുമുറിക്കുന്നു; രക്തപാതകത്തോടു രക്തപാതകം കൂട്ടുന്നു. | 2 यहां शाप देने, फूठ बोलने, वध करने, चुराने, और व्यभिचार करने को छोड़ कुछ नहीं होता; वे व्यवस्या की सीमा को लांघकर कुकर्म करते हैं और खून ही खून होता रहता है। |
| 3 Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it languish, and also the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens, and even the fish of the sea are taken away. | 3 അതുകൊണ്ടു ദേശം ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികളും വയലിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകളും ക്ഷീണിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളും ഇല്ലാതെയാകുന്നു. | 3 इस कारण यह देश विलाप करेगा, और मैदान के जीव-जन्तुओं, और आकाश के पझियोंसमेत उसके सब निवासी कुम्हला जाएंगे; और समुद्र की मछलियां भी नाश हो जाएंगी।। |
| 4 Yet let no one contend, and let none accuse, for with you is my contention, O priest. | 4 എങ്കിലും ആരും വാദിക്കരുതു; ആരും ശാസിക്കയും അരുതു; നിന്റെ ജനമോ, പുരോഹിതനോടു വാദിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു. | 4 देखो, कोई वाद-विवाद न करे, न कोई उलहना दे, क्योंकि तेरे लोग तो याजकोंसे वाद-विवाद करनेवालोंके समान हैं। |
| 5 You shall stumble by day; the prophet also shall stumble with you by night; and I will destroy your mother. | 5 അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ പകൽ സമയത്തു ഇടറിവീഴും; പ്രവാചകനും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ രാത്രിയിൽ ഇടറിവീഴും; നിന്റെ അമ്മയെ ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിക്കും. | 5 तू दिनदुपहरी ठोकर खाएगा, और रात को भविष्यद्वक्ता भी तेरे साय ठोकर खाएगा; और मैं तेरी माता को नाश करूंगा। |
| 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. | 6 പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ലായ്കയാൽ എന്റെ ജനം നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; പരിജ്ഞാനം ത്യജിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതനായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ നിന്നെയും ത്യജിക്കും; നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാനും നിന്റെ മക്കളെ മറെക്കും. | 6 मेरे ज्ञान के न होने से मेरी प्रजा नाश हो गई; तू ने मेरे ज्ञान को तुच्छ जाना है, इसलिथे मैं तुझे अपना याजक रहने के अयोग्य ठहराऊंगा। और इसलिथे कि तू ने अपके परमेश्वर की व्यवस्या को तज दिया है, मैं भी तेरे लड़केबालोंको छोड़ दूंगा। |
| 7 The more they increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame. | 7 അവർ പെരുകുന്തോറും എന്നോടു ഏറെ പാപം ചെയ്തു; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മഹത്വത്തെ ലജ്ജയായി മാറ്റും. | 7 जैसे वे बढ़ते गए, वैसे ही वे मेरे विरूद्ध पाप करते गए; मैं उनके विभव के बदले उनका अनादर करूंगा। |

| 10 They shall eat, but not be satisfied; they shall play the whore, but not multiply, because they have forsaken the LORD to cherish | 10 അവർ ഭക്ഷിച്ചാലും തൃപ്തി പ്രാപിക്കയില്ല; അവർ സ്ത്രീസംഗംചെയ്താലും പെരുകുകയില്ല; യഹോവയെ കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നതു അവർ വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ. | 10 वे खाएंगे तो सही, परन्तु तृप्त न होंगे, और वेश्यागमन तो करेंगे, परन्तु न बढ़ेंगे; क्योंकि उन्होंने यहोवा की ओर मन लगाना छोड़ दिया है।। |
| 11 whoredom, wine, and new wine, which take away the understanding. | 11 പരസംഗവും വീഞ്ഞും പുതിയ വീഞ്ഞും ബുദ്ധിയെ കെടുത്തുകളയുന്നു. | 11 वेश्यागमन और दाखमधु और ताजा दाखमधु, थे तीनोंबुद्धि को भ्रष्ट करते हैं। |
| 12 My people inquire of a piece of wood, and their walking staff gives them oracles. | 13 They sacrifice on the tops of the mountains and burn offerings on the hills, under oak, poplar, and terebinth, because their shade is good. | 14 I will not punish your daughters when they play the whore, nor your brides when they commit adultery; for the men themselves go aside with prostitutes and sacrifice with cult prostitutes, and a people without understanding shall come to ruin. | 14 നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രിമാർ പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുന്നതും നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രഭാര്യമാർ വ്യഭിചരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ സന്ദർശിക്കയില്ല; അവർ തന്നേ വേശ്യാസ്ത്രീകളോടു കൂടെ വേറിട്ടുപോകയും ദേവദാസികളോടുകൂടെ ബലികഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത ജനം നശിച്ചുപോകും. | 14 जब तुम्हारी बेटियां छिनाला और तुम्हारी बहुएं व्यभिचार करें, तब मैं उनको दण्ड न दूंगा; क्योंकि मनुष्य आप ही वेश्याओं के साय एकान्त में जाते, और देवदासियोंके सायी होकर यज्ञ करते हैं; और जो लोग समझ नहीं रखते, वे नाश हो जाएंगे।। |
| 15 Though you play the whore, O Israel, let not Judah become guilty. Enter not into Gilgal, nor go up to Beth-aven, and swear not, "As the LORD lives." | 15 യിസ്രായേലേ, നി പരസംഗം ചെയ്താലും യെഹൂദാ അപരാധം ചെയ്യാതെയിരിക്കട്ടെ; നിങ്ങൾ ഗില്ഗാലിലേക്കു ചെല്ലരുതു; ബേത്ത്--ആവെനിലേക്കു കയറിപ്പോകരുതു; യഹോവയാണ എന്നു സത്യം ചെയ്കയുമരുതു. | 15 हे इस्राएल, यद्यपि तू छिनाला करता है, तौभी यहूदा दोषी न बने। गिलगाल को जाओ; और न बेतावेन को चढ़ जाओ; और यहोवा के जीवन की सौगन्ध कहकर शपय न खाओ। |
| 16 Like a stubborn heifer, Israel is stubborn; can the LORD now feed them like a lamb in a broad pasture? | 16 യിസ്രായേൽ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള പശുക്കിടാവിനെപ്പോലെ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യം കാണിച്ചാൽ യഹോവ അവരെ ഒരു വിശാലസ്ഥലത്തു കുഞ്ഞാടിനെപ്പോലെ മേയിക്കുമോ? | 16 क्योंकि इस्राएल ने हठीली कलोर की नाईं हठ किया है, क्या अब यहोवा उन्हें भेड़ के बच्चे की नाईं लम्बे चौड़े मैदान में चराएगा? |

| 19 A wind has wrapped them in its wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices. | 19 കാറ്റു അവളെ ചിറകുകൊണ്ടു ചുറ്റിപ്പിടിക്കുന്നു. അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ബലികൾഹേതുവായി ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും. | 19 आंधी उनको अपके पंखोंमें बान्धकर उड़ा ले जाएगी, और उनके बलिदानोंके कारण उनकी आशा टूट जाएगी।। |
