| 1 Rejoice not, O Israel! Exult not like the peoples; for you have played the whore, forsaking your God. You have loved a prostitute's wages on all threshing floors. | 1 യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ വിട്ടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തുനടക്കയും ധാന്യക്കളങ്ങളിൽ ഒക്കെയും വേശ്യാസമ്മാനം ആഗ്രഹിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാൽ നീ ശേഷം ജാതികളെപ്പോലെ ഘോഷത്തോടെ സന്തോഷിക്കരുതു. | 1 हे इस्राएल, तू देश देश के लोगोंकी नाईं आनन्द में मगन मत हो! क्योंकि तू अपके परमेश्वर को छोड़कर वेश्या बनी। तू ने अन्न के हर एक खलिहान पर छिनाले की कमाई आनन्द से ली है। |
| 2 Threshing floor and wine vat shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail them. | 2 കളവും ചക്കും അവരെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കയില്ല, പുതുവിഞ്ഞു അതിൽ ഇല്ലാതെയാകും. | 2 वे न तो खलिहान के अन्न से तृप्त होंगे, और न कुण्ड के दाखमधु से; और न नथे दाखमधु के धटने से वे धोखा खाएंगे। |
| 3 They shall not remain in the land of the LORD, but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria. | 3 അവർ യഹോവയുടെ ദേശത്തു പാർക്കുകയില്ല; എഫ്രയീം മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകയും അശ്ശൂരിൽവെച്ചു മലിനമായതു തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യും. | 3 वे यहोवा के देश में रहने न पाएंगे; परन्तु एप्रैम मिस्र में लौट जाएगा, और वे अश्शूर में अशुद्ध वस्तुएं खाएंगे।। |
| 4 They shall not pour drink offerings of wine to the LORD, and their sacrifices shall not please him. It shall be like mourners' bread to them; all who eat of it shall be defiled; for their bread shall be for their hunger only; it shall not come to the house of the LORD. | 4 അവർ യഹോവെക്കു വീഞ്ഞുപകർന്നു അർപ്പിക്കയില്ല; അവരുടെ ഹനനയാഗങ്ങൾ അവന്നു പ്രസാദമായിരിക്കയുമില്ല; അവരുടെ അപ്പം അവർക്കു വിലാപത്തിന്റെ അപ്പംപോലെയിരിക്കും; അതു തിന്നുന്നവനൊക്കെയും അശുദ്ധനായിത്തീരും; അവരുടെ അപ്പം വിശപ്പടക്കുവാൻ മാത്രം അവർക്കു ഉതകും; അതു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു വരികയില്ല. | 4 वे यहोवा के लिथे दाखमधु का अर्ध न देंगे, और न उनके बलिदान उसको भाएंगे। उनकी रोटी शोक करनेवालोंका सा भोजन ठहरेगी; जितने उसे खाएंगे सब अशुद्ध हो जाएंगे; क्योंकि उनकी भोजनवसतु उनकी भूख बुफाने ही के लिथे होगी; वह यहोवा के भवन में न आ सकेगी।। |
| 5 What will you do on the day of the appointed festival, and on the day of the feast of the LORD? | 5 സഭായോഗദിവസത്തിലും യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവദിവസത്തിലും നിങ്ങൾ എന്തു ചെയ്യും? | 5 नियत समय के पर्व और यहोवा के उत्सव के दिन तुम क्या करोगे? |
| 6 For behold, they are going away from destruction; but Egypt shall gather them; Memphis shall bury them. Nettles shall possess their precious things of silver; thorns shall be in their tents. | 6 അവർ നാശത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയാൽ മിസ്രയീം അവരെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കും; മോഫ് അവരെ അടക്കംചെയ്യും; അവരുടെ വെള്ളികൊണ്ടുള്ള മനോഹരസാധനങ്ങൾ തൂവെക്കു അവകാശമാകും; മുള്ളുകൾ അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ ഉണ്ടാകും. | 6 देखो, वे सत्यानाश होने के डर के मारे चले गए; परन्तु वहां मर जाएंगे और मिस्री उनकी लोथें इकट्ठी करेंगे; और मोप के निवासी उनको मिट्टी देंगे। उनकी मनभावनी चान्दी की वस्तुएं बिच्छु पेड़ोंके बीच में पकेंगी, और उनके तम्बुओं में फड़बेरी उगेगी। |
| 7 The days of punishment have come; the days of recompense have come; Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool; the man of the spirit is mad, because of your great iniquity and great hatred. | 7 സന്ദർശനകാലം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; പ്രതികാരദിവസം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ അകൃത്യബാഹുല്യവും മഹാദ്വേഷവും നിമിത്തം പ്രവാചകൻ ഭോഷനും ആത്മപൂർണ്ണൻ ഭ്രാന്തനും എന്നു യിസ്രായേൽ അറിയും. | 7 दण्ड के दिन आए हैं; बदला लेने के दिन आए हैं; और इस्राएल यह जान लेगा। उनके बहुत से अधर्म और बड़े द्वेष के कारण भविष्यद्वक्ता तो मूर्ख, और जिस पुरूष पर आत्मा उतरता है, वह बावला ठहरेगा।। |
| 8 The prophet is the watchman of Ephraim with my God; yet a fowler's snare is on all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God. | 8 എഫ്രയീം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; പ്രവാചകന്നോ അവന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും വേട്ടക്കാരന്റെ കണിയും അവന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ പകയം നേരിടും. | 8 एप्रैम मेरे परमेश्वर की ओर से पहरूआ है; भविष्यद्वक्ता सब मार्गोंमें बहेलिथे का फन्दा है, और वह अपके परमेश्वर के घर में बैरी हुआ है। |
| 9 They have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gibeah: he will remember their iniquity; he will punish their sins. | 9 ഗിബെയയുടെ കാലത്തു എന്നപോലെ അവർ വഷളത്വത്തിൽ മുഴുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം ഓർത്തു അവരുടെ പാപം സന്ദർശിക്കും. | 9 वे गिबा के दिनोंकी भांति अत्यन्त बिगड़े हैं; सो वह उनके अधर्म की सुधि लेकर उनके पाप का दण्ड देगा।। |
| 10 Like grapes in the wilderness, I found Israel. Like the first fruit on the fig tree in its first season, I saw your fathers. But they came to Baal-peor and consecrated themselves to the thing of shame, and became detestable like the thing they loved. | 10 മരുഭൂമിയിൽ മുന്തിരിപ്പഴംപോലെ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേലിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി; അത്തിവൃക്ഷത്തിൽ ആദ്യം ഉണ്ടായ തലക്കനിപോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ കണ്ടു; ബാൽ-പെയോരിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ലജ്ജാബിംബത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ഇഷ്ടദേവനെപ്പോലെ മ്ലേച്ഛതയുള്ളവരായ്തീർന്നു. | 10 मैं ने इस्राएल को ऐसा पाया जैसे कोई जंगल में दाख पाए; और तुमहारे पुरखाओं पर ऐसे दृष्टि की जैसे अंजीर के पहिले फलोंपर दृष्टि की जाती है। परन्तु उन्होंने पोर के बाल के पास जाकर अपके तई लज्जा का कारण होने के लिथे अर्पण कर दिया, और जिस पर मोहित हो गए थे, वे उसी के समान घिनौने हो गए। |
| 11 Ephraim's glory shall fly away like a bird--no birth, no pregnancy, no conception! | 11 എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ മഹത്വം പ്രസവമോ ഗർഭമോ ഗർഭോല്പാദനമോ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാതാകുംവണ്ണം ഒരു പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെ പറന്നുപോകും. | 11 एप्रैम का विभव पक्की की नाईं उड़ जाएगा; न तो किसी का जन्म होगा, न किसी को गर्भ रहेगा, और न कोई स्त्री गर्भवती होगी! |
| 12 Even if they bring up children, I will bereave them till none is left. Woe to them when I depart from them! | 12 അവർ മക്കളെ വളർത്തിയാലും ഞാൻ അവരെ ഒരുത്തനും ശേഷിക്കാതവണ്ണം മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരാക്കും; ഞാൻ അവരെ വിട്ടു മാറിപ്പോകുമ്പോൾ അവർക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! | 12 चाहे वे अपके लड़केबालोंका पालनपोषण कर बड़े भी करें, तौभी मैं उन्हें यहां तक निर्वंश करूंगा कि कोई भी न बचेगा। जब मैं उन से दूर हो जाऊंगा, तब उन पर हाथ! |
| 13 Ephraim, as I have seen, was like a young palm planted in a meadow; but Ephraim must lead his children out to slaughter. | 13 ഞാൻ എഫ്രയീമിനെ സോർവരെ കണ്ടെടത്തോളം അതു മനോഹരസ്ഥലത്തുള്ളോരു നടുതല ആകുന്നു; എങ്കിലും എഫ്രയീം തന്റെ മക്കളെ ഘാതകന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുചെല്ലേണ്ടിവരും. | 13 जैसा मैं ने सोर को देखा, वैसा एप्रैम को भी मनभाऊ स्यान में बसा हुआ देखा; तौभी उसे अपके लड़केबालोंको घातक के साम्हने ले जाना पकेगा। |
| 14 Give them, O LORD--what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. | 14 യഹോവേ, അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്തുകൊടുക്കും? അലസിപ്പോകുന്ന ഗർഭവും വരണ്ട മുലയും അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണമേ. | 14 हे यहोवा, उनको दण्ड दे! तू क्या देगा? यह, कि उनकी स्त्रियोंके गर्भ गिर जाएं, और स्यान सूखे रहें।। |
| 15 Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more; all their princes are rebels. | 15 അവരുടെ ദുഷ്ടതയൊക്കെയും ഗില്ഗാലിൽ സംഭവിച്ചു; അവിടെവെച്ചു അവർ എനിക്കു വെറുപ്പായി; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ ഇനി അവരെ സ്നേഹിക്കാതെ എന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്നു അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ സകല പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും മത്സരികളത്രേ. | 15 उनकी सारी बुराई गिल्गाल में है; वहीं मैं ने उन से घृणा की। उनके बुरे कामोंके कारण मैं उनको अपके घर से निकाल दूंगा। और उन से फिर प्रीति न रखूंगा, क्योंकि उनके सब हाकिम बलवा करनेवाले हैं। |
| 16 Ephraim is stricken; their root is dried up; they shall bear no fruit. Even though they give birth, I will put their beloved children to death. | 16 എഫ്രയീമിന്നു പുഴുക്കുത്തു പിടിച്ചു; അവരുടെ വേർ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി; അവർ ഫലം കായിക്കയില്ല; അവർ പ്രസവിച്ചാലും ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഇഷ്ടകരമായ ഗർഭഫലത്തെ കൊന്നുകളയും. | 16 एप्रैम मारा हुआ है, उनकी जड़ सूख गई, उन में फल न लगेगा। और चाहे उनकी स्त्रियां बच्चे भी न जनें तौभी मैं उनके जन्मे हुए दुलारोंको मार डालूंगा।। |
| 17 My God will reject them because they have not listened to him; they shall be wanderers among the nations. | 17 അവർ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ അനുസരിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളയും; അവർ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉഴന്നു നടക്കേണ്ടിവരും. | 17 मेरा परमेश्वर उनको निकम्मा ठहराएगा, क्योंकि उन्होंने उसकी नहीं सुनी। वे अन्यजातियोंके बीच मारे मारे फिरेंगे।। |
