| 2 "Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, I am the LORD your God. | 2 നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; | 2 इस्त्राएलियोंसे कह, कि मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं। |
| 3 You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived, and you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, to which I am bringing you. You shall not walk in their statutes. | 3 നിങ്ങൾ പാർത്തിരുന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ നടക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന കനാൻദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെയും അരുതു; അവരുടെ മര്യാദ ആചരിക്കരുതു. | 3 तुम मिस्र देश के कामोंके अनुसार जिस में तुम रहते थे न करना; और कनान देश के कामोंके अनुसार भी जहां मैं तुम्हें ले चलता हूं न करना; और न उन देशोंकी विधियोंपर चलना। |
| 4 You shall follow my rules and keep my statutes and walk in them. I am the LORD your God. | 4 എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. | 4 मेरे ही नियमोंको मानना, और मेरी ही विधियोंको मानते हुए उन पर चलना। मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं। |
| 5 You shall therefore keep my statutes and my rules; if a person does them, he shall live by them: I am the LORD. | 5 ആകയാൽ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും ന്യായങ്ങളും നിങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ അവയാൽ ജീവിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. | 5 इसलिथे तुम मेरे नियमोंऔर मेरी विधियोंको निरन्तर मानना; जो मनुष्य उनको माने वह उनके कारण जीवित रहेगा। मैं यहोवा हूं। |
| 6 "None of you shall approach any one of his close relatives to uncover nakedness. I am the LORD. | 6 നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരും തനിക്കു രക്തസംബന്ധമുള്ള യാതൊരുത്തരുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവരോടു അടുക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. | 6 तुम में से कोई अपक्की किसी निकट कुटुम्बिन का तन उघाड़ने को उसके पास न जाए। मैं यहोवा हूं। |
| 7 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, which is the nakedness of your mother; she is your mother, you shall not uncover her nakedness. | 7 നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയും അമ്മയുടെ നഗ്നതയും അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. അവൾ നിന്റെ അമ്മയാകുന്നു; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. | 7 अपक्की माता का तन जो तुम्हारे पिता का तन है न उघाड़ना; वह तो तुम्हारी माता है, इसलिथे तुम उसका तन न उघाड़ना। |
| 8 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; it is your father's nakedness. | 8 അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ. | 8 अपक्की सौतेली माता का भी तन न उघाड़ना; वह तो तुम्हारे पिता ही का तन है। |
| 9 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, your father's daughter or your mother's daughter, whether brought up in the family or in another home. | 9 അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; വീട്ടിൽ ജനിച്ചവരായാലും പുറമെ ജനിച്ചവരായാലും അവരുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. | 9 अपक्की बहिन चाहे सगी हो चाहे सौतेली हो, चाहे वह घर में उत्पन्न हुई हो चाहे बाहर, उसका तन न उघाड़ना। |
| 10 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son's daughter or of your daughter's daughter, for their nakedness is your own nakedness. | 10 നിന്റെ മകന്റെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ മകളുടെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നഗ്നത നിന്റേതു തന്നേയല്ലോ. | 10 अपक्की पोती वा अपक्की नतिनी का तन न उघाड़ना, उनकी देह तो मानो तुम्हारी ही है। |
| 11 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife's daughter, brought up in your father's family, since she is your sister. | 11 നിന്റെ അപ്പന്നു ജനിച്ചവളും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ മകളുമായവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയല്ലോ. | 11 तुम्हारी सोतेली बहिन जो तुम्हारे पिता से उत्पन्न हुई, वह तुम्हारी बहिन है, इस कारण उसका तन न उघाड़ना। |
| 12 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's sister; she is your father's relative. | 12 അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ അപ്പന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ. | 12 अपक्की फूफी का तन न उघाड़ना; वह तो तुम्हारे पिता की निकट कुटुम्बिन है। |
| 13 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, for she is your mother's relative. | 13 അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ. | 13 अपक्की मौसी का तन न उघाड़ना; क्योंकि वह तुम्हारी माता की निकट कुटुम्बिन है। |
| 14 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother, that is, you shall not approach his wife; she is your aunt. | 14 അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടു അടുക്കയുമരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ ഇളയമ്മയല്ലോ. | 14 अपके चाचा का तन न उघाड़ना, अर्यात् उसकी स्त्री के पास न जाना; वह तो तुम्हारी चाची है। |
| 15 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law; she is your son's wife, you shall not uncover her nakedness. | 15 നിന്റെ മരുമകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ മകന്റെ ഭാര്യ അല്ലോ; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. | 15 अपक्की बहू का तन न उघाड़ना वह तो तुम्हारे बेटे की स्त्री है, इस कारण तुम उसका तन न उघाड़ना। |
| 16 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife; it is your brother's nakedness. | 16 സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ. | 16 अपक्की भौजी का तन न उघाड़ना; वह तो तुम्हारे भाई ही का तन है। |
| 17 You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and of her daughter, and you shall not take her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter to uncover her nakedness; they are relatives; it is depravity. | 17 ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെയും അവളുടെ മകളുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവളുടെ മകന്റെയോ മകളുടെയോ മകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവരെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു: അവർ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരല്ലോ; അതു ദുഷ്കർമ്മം. | 17 किसी स्त्री और उसकी बेटी दोनोंका तन न उघाड़ना, और उसकी पोती को वा उसकी नतिनी को अपक्की स्त्री करके उसका तन न उघाड़ना; वे तो निकट कुटुम्बिन है; ऐसा करना महापाप है। |
| 18 And you shall not take a woman as a rival wife to her sister, uncovering her nakedness while her sister is still alive. | 18 ഭാര്യ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവളെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിപ്പാൻ അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളെകൂടെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു. | 18 और अपक्की स्त्री की बहिन को भी अपक्की स्त्री करके उसकी सौत न करना, कि पहली के जीवित रहते हुए उसका तन भी उघाड़े। |
| 19 "You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness while she is in her menstrual uncleanness. | 19 ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഋതു നിമിത്തം അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളോടു അടുക്കരുതു. | 19 फिर जब तक कोई स्त्री अपके ऋतु के कारण अशुद्ध रहे तब तक उसके पास उसका तन उघाड़ने को न जाना। |
| 20 And you shall not lie sexually with your neighbor's wife and so make yourself unclean with her. | 20 കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അവളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു. | 20 फिर अपके भाई बन्धु की स्त्री से कुकर्म करके अशुद्ध न हो जाना। |
| 21 You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the LORD. | 21 നിന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ ഒന്നിനെയും മോലേക്കിന്നു അർപ്പിച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. | 21 और अपके सन्तान में से किसी को मोलेक के लिथे होम करके न चढ़ाना, और न अपके परमेश्वर के नाम को अपवित्र ठहराना; मैं यहोवा हूं। |
| 22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. | 22 സ്ത്രീയോടു എന്നപോലെ പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കരുതു; അതു മ്ലേച്ഛത. | 22 स्त्रीगमन की रीति पुरूषगमन न करना; वह तो घिनौना काम है। |
| 23 And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is perversion. | 23 യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അതിനാൽ നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു; യാതൊരു സ്ത്രീയും ഒരു മൃഗത്തോടും കൂടെ ശയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിൽക്കയും അരുതു; അതു നികൃഷ്ടം. | 23 किसी जाति के पशु के साय पशुगमन करके अशुद्ध न हो जाना, और न कोई स्त्री पशु के साम्हने इसलिथे खड़ी हो कि उसके संग कुकर्म करे; यह तो उल्टी बात है।। |
| 24 "Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean, | 24 ഇവയിൽ ഒന്നുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്ന ജാതികൾ ഇവയാൽ ഒക്കെയും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. | 24 ऐसा ऐसा कोई भी काम करके अशुद्ध न हो जाना, क्योंकि जिन जातियोंको मैं तुम्हारे आगे से निकालने पर हूं वे ऐसे ऐसे काम करके अशुद्ध हो गई है; |
| 25 and the land became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. | 25 ദേശവും അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീർന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേൽ സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നു; ദേശം തന്റെ നിവാസികളെ ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു. | 25 और उनका देश भी अशुद्ध हो गया है, इस कारण मैं उस पर उसके अधर्म का दण्ड देता हूं, और वह देश अपके निवासिक्कों उगल देता है। |
| 26 But you shall keep my statutes and my rules and do none of these abominations, either the native or the stranger who sojourns among you | 26 ഈ മ്ലേച്ഛത ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ ആ ദേശത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ ചെയ്തു, ദേശം അശുദ്ധമായി തീർന്നു. | 26 इस कारण तुम लोग मेरी विधियोंऔर नियमोंको निरन्तर मानना, और चाहे देशी चाहे तुम्हारे बीच रहनेवाला परदेशी हो तुम में से कोई भी ऐसा घिनौना काम न करे; |
| 27 (for the people of the land, who were before you, did all of these abominations, so that the land became unclean), | 27 നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജാതികളെ ദേശം ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളെയും ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളയാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; | 27 क्योंकि ऐसे सब घिनौने कामोंको उस देश के मनुष्य तो तुम से पहिले उस में रहते थे वे करते आए हैं, इसी से वह देश अशुद्ध हो गया है। |
| 28 lest the land vomit you out when you make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you. | 28 ഈ മ്ലേച്ഛതകളിൽ യാതൊന്നും സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശിയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്യരുതു. | 28 अब ऐसा न हो कि जिस रीति से जो जाति तुम से पहिले उस देश में रहती यी उसको उस ने उगल दिया, उसी रीति जब तुम उसको अशुद्ध करो, तो वह तुम को भी उगल दे। |
| 29 For everyone who does any of these abominations, the persons who do them shall be cut off from among their people. | 29 ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളിലും ഏതെങ്കിലും ചെയ്താൽ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അവരുടെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം. | 29 जितने ऐसा कोई घिनौना काम करें वे सब प्राणी अपके लोगोंमें से नाश किए जाएं। |
| 30 So keep my charge never to practice any of these abominable customs that were practiced before you, and never to make yourselves unclean by them: I am the LORD your God." | 30 ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ നടന്ന ഈ മ്ലേച്ഛമര്യാദകളിൽ യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും അവയാൽ അശുദ്ധരാകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. | 30 यह आज्ञा जो मैं ने तुम्हारे मानने को दी है उसे तुम मानना, और जो घिनौनी रीतियां तुम से पहिले प्रचलित हैं उन में से किसी पर न चलना, और न उनके कारण अशुद्ध हो जाना। मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं।। |
