| 1 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, | 1 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: | 1 फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, |
| 2 "Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. | 2 നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളിലോ യിസ്രായേലിൽ വന്നു പാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ ഒന്നിനെ മോലെക്കിന്നു കൊടുത്താൽ അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; ദേശത്തിലെ ജനം അവനെ കല്ലെറിയേണം. | 2 इस्त्राएलियोंसे कह, कि इस्त्राएलियोंमें से, वा इस्त्राएलियोंके बीच रहनेवाले परदेशियोंमें से, कोई क्योंन हो जो अपक्की कोई सन्तान मोलेक को बलिदान करे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए; और जनता उसको पत्यरवाह करे। |
| 3 I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name. | 3 അവൻ തന്റെ സന്തതിയെ മോലെക്കിന്നു കൊടുത്തതിനാൽ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം മലിനമാക്കുകയും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമം അശുദ്ധമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നേരെ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും. | 3 और मैं भी उस मनुष्य के विरूद्ध होकर उसको उसके लोगोंमें से इस कारण नाश करूंगा, कि उस ने अपक्की सन्तान मोलेक को देकर मेरे पवित्रस्यान को अशुद्ध किया, और मेरे पवित्र नाम को अपवित्र ठहराया। |
| 4 And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, | 4 അവൻ തന്റെ സന്തതിയെ മോലെക്കിന്നു കൊടുക്കുമ്പോൾ ദേശത്തിലെ ജനം അവനെ കൊല്ലാതെ കണ്ണടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞാൽ | 4 और यदि कोई अपक्की सन्तान मोलेक को बलिदान करे, और जनता उसके विषय में आनाकानी करे, और उसको मार न डाले, |
| 5 then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech. | 5 ഞാൻ അവനും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും നേരെ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു അവനെയും അവന്റെ പിന്നാലെ മോലെക്കിനോടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്‍വാൻ പോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും അവരുടെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും. | 5 तब तो मैं स्वयं उस मनुष्य और उसके घराने के विरूद्ध होकर उसको और जितने उसके पीछे होकर मोलेक के साय व्यभिचार करें उन सभोंको भी उनके लोगोंके बीच में से नाश करूंगा। |
| 6 "If a person turns to mediums and wizards, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people. | 6 വെളിച്ചപ്പാടന്മാരുടെയും മന്ത്രവാദികളുടെയും പിന്നാലെ പരസംഗം ചെയ്‍വാൻ പോകുന്നവന്റെ നേരെയും ഞാൻ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ചു അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും. | 6 फिर जो प्राणी ओफाओं वा भूतसाधनेवालोंकी ओर फिरके, और उनके पीछे होकर व्यभिचारी बने, तब मैं उस प्राणी के विरूद्ध होकर उसको उसके लोगोंके बीच में से नाश कर दूंगा। |
| 7 Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the LORD your God. | 7 ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിപ്പിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. | 7 इसलिथे तुम अपके आप को पवित्र करो; और पवित्र बने रहो; क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं। |
| 8 Keep my statutes and do them; I am the LORD who sanctifies you. | 8 എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിച്ചു ആചരിപ്പിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു. | 8 और तुम मेरी विधियोंको मानना, और उनका पालन भी करना; क्योंकि मैं तुम्हारा पवित्र करनेवाला यहोवा हूं। |
| 9 For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood is upon him. | 9 അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ ശപിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; അവൻ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും ശപിച്ചു; അവന്റെ രക്തം അവന്റെ മേൽ ഇരിക്കും. | 9 कोई क्योंन हो जो अपके पिता वा माता को शाप दे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए; उस ने अपके पिता वा माता को शाप दिया है, इस कारण उसका खून उसी के सिर पर पकेगा। |
| 10 "If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. | 10 ഒരുത്തന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായി വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ, കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുമായി വ്യഭിചാരംചെയ്യുന്ന വ്യഭിചാരിയും വ്യഭിചാരിണിയും തന്നേ, മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 10 फिर यदि कोई पराई स्त्री के साय व्यभिचार करे, तो जिस ने किसी दूसरे की स्त्री के साय व्यभिचार किया हो तो वह व्यभिचारी और वह व्यभिचारिणी दोनोंनिश्चय मार डाले जाएं। |
| 11 If a man lies with his father's wife, he has uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. | 11 അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുന്നു; ഇരുവരും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; അവരുടെ രക്തം അവരുടെമേൽ ഇരിക്കും. | 11 और यदि कोई अपक्की सौतेली माता के साय सोए, वह जो अपके पिता ही का तन उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा; सो इसलिथे वे दोनोंनिश्चय मार डाले जाएं, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पकेगा। |
| 12 If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death; they have committed perversion; their blood is upon them. | 12 ഒരുത്തൻ മരുമകളോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചാൽ ഇരുവരും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; അവർ നികൃഷ്ട കർമ്മം ചെയ്തു; അവരുടെ രക്തം അവരുടെ മേൽ ഇരിക്കും. | 12 और यदि कोई अपक्की पतोहू के साय सोए, तो वे दोनोंनिश्चय मार डाले जाएं; क्योंकि वे उलटा काम करनेवाले ठहरेंगे, और उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पकेगा। |
| 13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. | 13 സ്ത്രീയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഒരുത്തൻ പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചാൽ ഇരുവരും മ്ലേച്ഛത ചെയ്തു; അവർ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; അവരുടെ രക്തം അവരുടെമേൽ ഇരിക്കും. | 13 और यदि कोई जिस रीति स्त्री से उसी रीति पुरूष से प्रसंग करे, तो वे दोनोंघिनौना काम करनेवाले ठहरेंगे; इस कारण वे निश्चय मार डाले जाएं, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पकेगा। |
| 14 If a man takes a woman and her mother also, it is depravity; he and they shall be burned with fire, that there may be no depravity among you. | 14 ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെയും അവളുടെ അമ്മയെയും പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചാൽ അതു ദുഷ്കർമ്മം; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ദുഷ്കർമ്മം ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെയും അവരെയും തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം. | 14 और यदि कोई अपक्की पत्नी और अपक्की सांस दोनोंको रखे, तो यह महापाप है; इसलिथे वह पुरूष और वे स्त्रियां तीनोंके तीनोंआग में जलाए जाएं, जिस से तुम्हारे बीच महापाप न हो। |
| 15 If a man lies with an animal, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the animal. | 15 ഒരു പുരുഷൻ മൃഗത്തോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചാൽ അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; മൃഗത്തെയും കൊല്ലേണം. | 15 फिर यदि कोई पुरूष पशुगामी हो, तो पुरूष और पशु दोनोंनिश्चय मार डाले जाएं। |
| 16 If a woman approaches any animal and lies with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them. | 16 ഒരു സ്ത്രീ യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തോടെങ്കിലും ചേർന്നു ശയിച്ചാൽ സ്ത്രീയെയും മൃഗത്തെയും കൊല്ലേണം; അവർ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; അവരുടെ രക്തം അവരുടെമേൽ ഇരിക്കും. | 16 और यदि कोई स्त्री पशु के पास जाकर उसके संग कुकर्म करे, तो तू उस स्त्री और पशु दोनोंको घात करना; वे निश्चय मार डाले जाएं, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पकेगा। |
| 17 "If a man takes his sister, a daughter of his father or a daughter of his mother, and sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a disgrace, and they shall be cut off in the sight of the children of their people. He has uncovered his sister's nakedness, and he shall bear his iniquity. | 17 ഒരു പുരുഷൻ തന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ തന്റെ സഹോദരിയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു അവളുടെ നഗ്നത കാണുകയും അവൾ അവന്റെ നഗ്നത കാണുകയും ചെയ്താൽ അതു ലജ്ജാകരം; അവരെ അവരുടെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽവെച്ചു തന്നേ സംഹരിച്ചുകളയേണം; അവൻ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കി; അവൻ തന്റെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും. | 17 और यदि कोई अपक्की बहिन का, चाहे उसकी संगी बहिन हो चाहे सौतेली, उसका नग्न तन देखे, तो वह निन्दित बात है, वे दोनोंअपके जाति भाइयोंकी आंखोंके साम्हने नाश किए जाएं; क्योंकि जो अपक्की बहिन का तन उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा उसे अपके अधर्म का भार स्वयं उठाना पकेगा। |
| 18 If a man lies with a woman during her menstrual period and uncovers her nakedness, he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people. | 18 ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഋതുവായ സ്ത്രീയോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കിയാൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ സ്രവം അനാവൃതമാക്കി; അവളും തന്റെ രക്തസ്രവം അനാവൃതമാക്കി; ഇരുവരെയും അവരുടെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം. | 18 फिर यदि कोई पुरूष किसी ऋतुमती स्त्री के संग सोकर उसका तन उघाड़े, तो वह पुरूष उसके रूधिर के सोते का उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा, और वह स्त्री अपके रूधिर के सोते की उघाड़नेवाली ठहरेगी; इस कारण दोनोंअपके लोगोंके बीच से नाश किए जाएं। |
| 19 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister or of your father's sister, for that is to make naked one's relative; they shall bear their iniquity. | 19 നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെയോ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെയോ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അങ്ങനെത്തവൻ തന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരത്തിയെ അനാവൃതയാക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും. | 19 और अपक्की मौसी वा फूफी का तन न उघाड़ना, क्योंकि जो उसे उघाड़े वह अपक्की निकट कुटुम्बिन को नंगा करता है; इसलिथे इन दोनोंको अपके अधर्म का भार उठाना पकेगा। |
| 20 If a man lies with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness; they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless. | 20 ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇളയപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചാൽ അവൻ ഇളയപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കി; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ പാപം വഹിക്കും; അവർ സന്തതിയില്ലാത്തവരായി മരിക്കേണം. | 20 और यदि कोई अपक्की चाची के संग सोए, तो वह अपके चाचा का तन उघाड़ने वाला ठहरेगा; इसलिथे वे दोनोंअपके पाप का भार को उठाए हुए निर्वंश मर जाएंगे। |
| 21 If a man takes his brother's wife, it is impurity. He has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless. | 21 ഒരുത്തൻ സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചാൽ അതു മാലിന്യം; അവൻ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കി; അവർ സന്തതിയില്ലാത്തവർ ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 21 और यदि कोई भौजी वा भयाहू को अपक्की पत्नी बनाए, तो इसे घिनौना काम जानना; और वह अपके भाई का तन उघाड़नेवाला ठहरेगा, इस कारण वे दोनोंनिर्वंश रहेंगे। |
| 22 "You shall therefore keep all my statutes and all my rules and do them, that the land where I am bringing you to live may not vomit you out. | 22 ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ കുടിയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന ദേശം നിങ്ങളെ ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളയാതിരിപ്പാൻ എന്റെ എല്ലാചട്ടങ്ങളും സകലവിധികളും പ്രമാണിച്ചു ആചരിക്കേണം. | 22 तुम मेरी सब विधियोंऔर मेरे सब नियमोंको समझ के साय मानना; जिससे यह न हो कि जिस देश में मैं तुम्हें लिथे जा रहा हूं वह तुम को उगल देवे। |
| 23 And you shall not walk in the customs of the nation that I am driving out before you, for they did all these things, and therefore I detested them. | 23 ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്ന ജാതിയുടെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കരുതു; ഈ കാര്യങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ എനിക്കു അറെപ്പായി തീർന്നു. | 23 और जिस जाति के लोगोंको मैं तुम्हारे आगे से निकालता हूं उनकी रीति रस्म पर न चलना; क्योंकि उन लोगोंने जो थे सब कुकर्म किए हैं, इसी कारण मुझे उन से घृणा हो गई है। |
| 24 But I have said to you, 'You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.' I am the LORD your God, who have separated you from the peoples. | 24 നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെ കൈവശമാക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ; പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ആ ദേശം നിങ്ങൾ കൈവശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അതിനെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളിൽനിന്നു വേറുതിരിച്ചവനായി നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; | 24 और मैं तुम लोगोंसे कहता हूं, कि तुम तो उनकी भूमि के अधिक्कारनेी होगे, और मैं इस देश को जिस में दूध और मधु की धाराएं बहती हैं तुम्हारे अधिक्कारने में कर दूंगा; मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं जिस ने तुम को देशोंके लोगोंसे अलग किया है। |
| 25 You shall therefore separate the clean beast from the unclean, and the unclean bird from the clean. You shall not make yourselves detestable by beast or by bird or by anything with which the ground crawls, which I have set apart for you to hold unclean. | 25 ആകയാൽ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള മൃഗവും ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത മൃഗവും തമ്മിലും, ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത പക്ഷിയും ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള പക്ഷിയും തമ്മിലും നിങ്ങൾ വ്യത്യാസം വെക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അശുദ്ധമെന്നു വേറുതിരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മൃഗത്തെക്കൊണ്ടും പക്ഷിയെക്കൊണ്ടും നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന യാതൊരു ജന്തുവിനെക്കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അറെപ്പാക്കരുതു. | 25 इस कारण तुम शुद्ध और अशुद्ध पशुओं में, और शुद्ध और अशुद्ध पझियोंमें भेद करना; और कोई पशु वा पक्की वा किसी प्रकार का भूमि पर रेंगनेवाला जीवजन्तु क्योंन हो, जिसको मैं ने तुम्हारे लिथे अशुद्ध ठहराकर वजिर्त किया है, उस से अपके आप को अशुद्ध न करना। |
| 26 You shall be holy to me, for I the LORD am holy and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine. | 26 നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ വിശുദ്ധനാകകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളും എനിക്കു വിശുദ്ധന്മാരായിരിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങൾ എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളിൽ നിന്നു വേറുതിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 26 और तुम मेरे लिथे पवित्र बने रहना; क्योंकि मैं यहोवा स्वयं पवित्र हूं, और मैं ने तुम को और देशोंके लोगोंसे इसलिथे अलग किया है कि तुम निरन्तर मेरे ही बने रहो।। |
| 27 "A man or a woman who is a medium or a wizard shall surely be put to death. They shall be stoned with stones; their blood shall be upon them." | 27 വെളിച്ചപ്പാടോ മന്ത്രവാദമോ ഉള്ള പുരുഷൻ ആകട്ടെ സ്ത്രീയാകട്ടെ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; അവരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം; അവരുടെ രക്തം അവരുടെ മേൽ ഇരിക്കും. | 27 यदि कोई पुरूष वा स्त्री ओफाई वा भूत की साधना करे, तो वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए; ऐसोंका पत्यरवाह किया जाए, उनका खून उन्हीं के सिर पर पकेगा।। |
