| 1 And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! | 2 you who hate the good and love the evil, who tear the skin from off my people and their flesh from off their bones, | 2 നിങ്ങൾ നന്മയെ ദ്വേഷിച്ചു തിന്മയെ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ ത്വക്കു അവരുടെ മേൽനിന്നും മാംസം അവരുടെ അസ്ഥികളിൽനിന്നും പറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു. | 2 तुम तो भलाई से बैर, और बुराई से प्रीति रखते हो, मानो, तुम, लोगोंपर से उनकी खाल, और उनकी हड्डियोंपर से उनका मांस उधेड़ लेते हो; |

| 5 Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who lead my people astray, who cry "Peace" when they have something to eat, but declare war against him who puts nothing into their mouths. | 5 എന്റെ ജനത്തെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളകയും പല്ലിന്നു കടിപ്പാൻ വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ സമാധാനം പ്രസംഗിക്കയും അവരുടെ വായിൽ ഒന്നും ഇട്ടുകൊടുക്കാത്തവന്റെ നേരെ വിശുദ്ധയുദ്ധം ഘോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: | 5 यहोवा का यह वचन है कि जो भविष्यद्वक्ता मेरी प्रजा को भटका देते हैं, और जब उन्हें खाने को मिलता है तब शान्ति, शान्ति, पुकारते हैं, और यदि कोई उनके मुंह में कुछ न दे, तो उसके विरूद्ध युद्ध करते को तैयार हो जाते हैं। |
| 6 Therefore it shall be night to you, without vision, and darkness to you, without divination. The sun shall go down on the prophets, and the day shall be black over them; | 6 അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദർശനമില്ലാത്ത രാത്രിയും ലക്ഷണം പറവാൻ കഴിയാത്ത ഇരുട്ടും ഉണ്ടാകും. പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്കു സൂര്യൻ അസ്തമിക്കയും പകൽ ഇരുണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും. | 6 इस कारण तुम पर ऐसी रात आएगी, कि तुम को दर्शन न मिलेगा, और तुम ऐसे अन्धकार में पड़ोगे कि भावी न कह सकोगे। भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के लिथे सूर्य अस्त होगा, और दिन रहते उन पर अन्धिक्कारनेा छा जाएगा। |
| 7 the seers shall be disgraced, and the diviners put to shame; they shall all cover their lips, for there is no answer from God. | 7 അപ്പോൾ ദർശകന്മാർ ലജ്ജിക്കും; ലക്ഷണം പറയുന്നവർ നാണിക്കും; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഉത്തരം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ ഒക്കെയും വായ് പൊത്തും. | 7 दर्शी लज्जित होंगे, और भावी कहनेवालोंके मुंह काले होंगे; और वे सब के सब अपके ओठोंको इसलिथे ढांपेंगे कि परमेश्वर की ओर से उत्तर नहीं मिलता। |
| 8 But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin. | 8 എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിനോടു അവന്റെ അതിക്രമവും യിസ്രായേലിനോടു അവന്റെ പാപവും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവിനാൽ ശക്തിയും ന്യായവും വീര്യവുംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. | 8 परन्तु मैं तो यहोवा की आत्मा से शक्ति, न्याय और पराक्रम पाकर परिपूर्ण हूं कि मैं याकूब को उसका अपराध और इस्राएल को उसका पाप जता सकूं। |
| 9 Hear this, you heads of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who detest justice and make crooked all that is straight, | 9 ന്യായം വെറുക്കയും ചൊവ്വുള്ളതു ഒക്കെയും വളെച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന യാക്കോബുഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ തലവന്മാരും യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അധിപന്മാരുമായുള്ളോരേ, ഇതു കേൾപ്പിൻ. | 9 हे याकूब के घराने के प्रधानों, हे इस्राएल के घराने के न्यायियो, हे न्याय से धृणा करनेवालो और सब सीधी बातोंकी टेढ़ी-मेढ़ी करनेवालो, यह बात सुनो। |
| 10 who build Zion with blood and Jerusalem with iniquity. | 10 അവർ സീയോനെ രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടും യെരൂശലേമിനെ ദ്രോഹംകൊണ്ടും പണിയുന്നു. | 10 तुम सिय्योन को हत्या करके और यरूशलेम को कुटिलता करके दृढ़ करते हो। |
| 11 Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the LORD and say, "Is not the LORD in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us." | 11 അതിലെ തലവന്മാർ സമ്മാനം വാങ്ങി ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ കൂലി വാങ്ങി ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ പണം വാങ്ങി ലക്ഷണം പറയുന്നു; എന്നിട്ടും അവർ യഹോവയെ ചാരി: യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇല്ലയോ? അനർത്ഥം നമുക്കു വരികയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു. | 11 उसके प्रधान घूस ले लेकर विचार करते, और याजक दाम ले लेकर व्यवस्या देते हैं, और भविष्यद्वक्ता रूपके के लिथे भावी कहते हैं; तौभी वे यह कहकर यहोवा पर भरोसा रखते हैं, यहोवा हमारे बीच में है, इसलिथे कोई विपत्ति हम पर न आएगी। |
| 12 Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed as a field; Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the house a wooded height. | 12 അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തം സീയോനെ വയൽപോലെയും ഉഴും; യെരൂശലേം കല്ക്കുന്നുകളും ആലയത്തിന്റെ പർവ്വതം കാട്ടിലെ മേടുകൾപോലെയും ആയ്തീരും. | 12 इसलिथे तुम्हारे कारण सिय्योन जोतकर खेत बनाया जाएगा, और यरूशलेम डींह ही डींह हो जाएगा, और जिस पर्वत पर भवन बना है, वह वन के ऊंचे स्यान सा हो जाएगा।। |
