| 1 I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint. | 1 ഞാൻ കൊത്തളത്തിൽനിന്നു കാവൽകാത്തുകൊണ്ടു: അവൻ എന്നോടു എന്തരുളിച്ചെയ്യും എന്നും എന്റെ ആവലാധിസംബന്ധിച്ചു ഞാൻ എന്തുത്തരം പറയേണ്ടു എന്നും കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കും. | 1 मैं अपके पहरे पर खड़ा रहूंगा, और गुम्मट पर चढ़कर ठहरा रहूंगा, और ताकता रहूंगा कि मुझ से वह क्या कहेगा? और मैं अपके दिए हुए उलाहने के विषय में उत्तर दूं? |

| 3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end--it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. | 3 ദർശനത്തിന്നു ഒരു അവധിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു സമാപ്തിയിലേക്കു ബദ്ധപ്പെടുന്നു; സമയം തെറ്റുകയുമില്ല; അതു വൈകിയാലും അതിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്ക; അതു വരും നിശ്ചയം; താമസിക്കയുമില്ല. | 3 क्योंकि इस दर्शन की बात नियत समय में पूरी होनेवाली है, वरन इसके पूरे होने के समय वेग से आता है; इस में धोखा न होगा। चाहे इस में विलम्ब भी हो, तौभी उसकी बाट जाहते रहना; क्योंकि वह निश्चय पूरी होगी और उस में देन न होगी। |
| 4 "Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. | 4 അവന്റെ മനസ്സു അവനിൽ അഹങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു നേരുള്ളതല്ല; നീതിമാനോ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും. | 4 देख, उसका मन फूला हुआ है, उसका मन सीधा नहीं है; परन्तु धर्मी अपके विश्वास के द्वारा जीवित रहेगा। |
| 5 "Moreover, wine is a traitor, an arrogant man who is never at rest. His greed is as wide as Sheol; like death he has never enough. He gathers for himself all nations and collects as his own all peoples." | 5 വീഞ്ഞു വിശ്വാസപാതകനാകുന്നു; അഹമ്മതിയുള്ള പുരുഷൻ നിലനിൽക്കയില്ല; അവൻ പാതാളംപോലെ വിസ്താരമായി വായ് പിളർക്കുന്നു; മരണംപോലെ തൃപ്തിപ്പെടാതെയുമിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ സകലജാതികളെയും തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൂട്ടി, സകലവംശങ്ങളെയും തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചേർക്കുന്നു. | 5 दाखमधु से धोखा होता है; अहंकारी पुरूष घर में नहीं रहता, और उसकी लालसा अधोलोक के समान पूरी नहीं होती, और मृत्यु की नाईं उसका पेट नहीं भरता। वह सब जातियोंको अपके पास खींच लेता, और सब देशोंके लोगोंको अपके पास इकट्ठे कर रखता है।। |
| 6 Shall not all these take up their taunt against him, with scoffing and riddles for him, and say, "Woe to him who heaps up what is not his own--for how long?--and loads himself with pledges!" | 6 അവർ ഒക്കെയും അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു സദൃശവും അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പരിഹാസമായുള്ളോരു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലും ചൊല്ലി; തന്റെതല്ലാത്തതു വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും--എത്രത്തോളം?--പണയപണ്ടം ചുമന്നു കൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം എന്നു പറകയില്ലയോ? | 6 क्या वे सब उसका दृष्टान्त चलाकर, और उस पर ताना मारकर न कहेंगे कि हाथ उस पर जो पराया धल छीन छीनकर धनवान हो जाता है? कब तक? हाथ उस पर जो अपना घर बन्धक की वस्तुओं से भर लेता है। |
| 7 Will not your debtors suddenly arise, and those awake who will make you tremble? Then you will be spoil for them. | 7 നിന്റെ കടക്കാർ പെട്ടെന്നു എഴുന്നേൽക്കയും നിന്നെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിക്കുന്നവർ ഉണരുകയും നീ അവർക്കു കൊള്ളയായ്തീരുകയും ഇല്ലയോ? | 7 जो तुझ से कर्ज लेते हैं, क्या वे लोग अचानक न उठेंगे? और क्या वे न जागेंगे जो तुझ को संकट में डालेंगे? |
| 8 Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you, for the blood of man and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell in them. | 8 നീ പലജാതികളോടും കവർച്ച ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു ജാതികളിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യരുടെ രക്തംനിമിത്തവും നീ ദേശത്തോടും നഗരത്തോടും അതിന്റെ സകലനിവാസികളോടും ചെയ്ത സാഹസം നിമിത്തവും നിന്നോടും കവർച്ച ചെയ്യും. | 8 और क्या तू उन से लूटा न जाएगा? तू ने बहुत सी जातियोंको लूट लिया है, सो सब बचे हुए लोग तुझे भी लूट लेंगे। इसका कारण मनुष्योंकी हत्या, और वह अपद्रव भी जो तू ने इस देश और राजधानी और इसके सब रहनेवालोंपर किया है।। |
| 9 "Woe to him who gets evil gain for his house, to set his nest on high, to be safe from the reach of harm! | 9 അനർത്ഥത്തിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഉയരത്തിൽ കൂടുവെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നുവേണ്ടി ദുരാദായം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! | 9 हाथ उस पर, जो अपके धर के लिथे अन्याय के लाभ का लोभी है ताकि वह अपना घोंसला ऊंचे स्यान में बनाकर विपत्ति से बचे। |
| 10 You have devised shame for your house by cutting off many peoples; you have forfeited your life. | 10 പലജാതികളെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതിനാൽ നീ നിന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നു ലജ്ജ നിരൂപിച്ചു നിന്റെ സ്വന്ത പ്രാണനോടു പാപം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. | 10 तू ने बहुत सी जातियोंको काटकर अपके घर लिथे लज्जा की युक्ति बान्धी, और अपके ही प्राण का दोषी ठहरा है। |
| 11 For the stone will cry out from the wall, and the beam from the woodwork respond. | 11 ചുവരിൽനിന്നു കല്ലു നിലവിളിക്കയും മരപ്പണിയിൽനിന്നു തുലാം ഉത്തരം പറകയും ചെയ്യുമല്ലോ. | 11 क्योंकि घर की भीत का पत्यर दोहाई देता है, और उसके छत की कड़ी उनके स्वर में स्वर मिलाकर उत्तर देती हैं। |
| 12 "Woe to him who builds a town with blood and founds a city on iniquity! | 12 രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടു പട്ടണം പണിയുകയും നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടു നഗരം സ്ഥാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! | 12 हाथ उस पर जो हत्या करके नगर को बनाता, और कुटिलता करके गढ़ को दृढ़ करता है। |
| 13 Behold, is it not from the LORD of hosts that peoples labor merely for fire, and nations weary themselves for nothing? | 13 ജാതികൾ തീക്കു ഇരയാകുവാൻ അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നതും വംശങ്ങൾ വെറുതെ തളർന്നുപോകുന്നതും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ ഹിതത്താൽ അല്ലയോ? | 13 देखो, क्या सेनाओं के यहोवा की ओर से यह नहीं होता कि देश देश के लोग परिश्र्म तो करते हैं परन्तु वे आग का कौर होते हैं; और राज्य-राज्य के लोगोंका परिश्र्म व्यर्य ही ठहरता है? |
| 14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. | 14 വെള്ളം സമുദ്രത്തിൽ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഭൂമി യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്താൽ പൂർണ്ണമാകും. | 14 क्योंकि पृय्वी यहोवा की महिमा के ज्ञान से ऐसी भर जाएगी जैसे समुद्र जल से भर जाता है।। |
| 15 "Woe to him who makes his neighbors drink--you pour out your wrath and make them drunk, in order to gaze at their nakedness! | 15 കൂട്ടുകാരുടെ നഗ്നത കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്കയും നഞ്ചു കൂട്ടിക്കലർത്തി ലഹരിപിടിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! | 15 हाथ उस पर, जो अपके पड़ोसी को मदिरा पिलाता, और उस में विष मिलाकर उसको मतवाला कर देता है कि उसको नंगा देखे। |
| 16 You will have your fill of shame instead of glory. Drink, yourself, and show your uncircumcision! The cup in the LORD's right hand will come around to you, and utter shame will come upon your glory! | 16 നിനക്കു മഹത്വംകൊണ്ടല്ല, ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ പൂർത്തിവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നീയും കുടിക്ക; നിന്റെ അഗ്രചർമ്മം അനാവൃതമാക്കുക; യഹോവയുടെ വലങ്കയ്യിലെ പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരും; മഹത്വത്തിന്നു പകരം നിനക്കു അവമാനം ഭവിക്കും. | 16 तू महिमा की सन्ती अपमान ही से भर गया है। तू भी पी, और अपके को खतनाहीन प्रगट कर! जो कटोरा यहोवा के दहिने हाथ में रहता है, सो घूमकर तेरी ओर भी जाएगा, और तेरा विभव तेरी छांट से अशुद्ध हो जाएगा। |
| 17 The violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, as will the destruction of the beasts that terrified them, for the blood of man and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell in them. | 17 മനുഷ്യരുടെ രക്തവും ദേശത്തോടും നഗരത്തോടും അതിന്റെ സകലനിവാസികളോടും ചെയ്ത സാഹസവും ഹേതുവായി ലെബാനോനോടു ചെയ്ത ദ്രോഹവും മൃഗങ്ങളെ പേടിപ്പിച്ച സംഹാരവും നിന്നെ മൂടും. | 17 क्योंकि लबानोन में तेरा किया हुआ उपद्रव और वहां के पशुओं पर तेरा किया हुआ उत्पात, जिन से वे भयभीत हो गए थे, तुझी पर आ पकेंगे। यह मनुष्योंकी हत्या और उस उपद्रव के कारण होगा, जो इस देश और राजधानी और इसके सब रहनेवालोंपर किया गया है।। |
| 18 "What profit is an idol when its maker has shaped it, a metal image, a teacher of lies? For its maker trusts in his own creation when he makes speechless idols! | 18 പണിക്കാരൻ ഒരു ബിംബത്തെ കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ അതിനാലോ, പണിക്കാരൻ വ്യാജം ഉപദേശിക്കുന്ന വാർപ്പുവിഗ്രഹത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഊമ മിത്ഥ്യാമൂർത്തികളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ അതിനാലോ എന്തു പ്രയോജനം ഉള്ളു? | 18 खुदी हुई मूरत में क्या लाभ देखकर बनानेवाले ने उसे खोदा है? फिर फूठ सिखानेवाली और ढली हुई मूरत में क्या लाभ देखकर ढालनेवाले ने उस पर इतना भरोसा रखा है कि न बोलनेवाली और निकम्मी मूरत बनाए? |
| 19 Woe to him who says to a wooden thing, Awake; to a silent stone, Arise! Can this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in it. | 19 മരത്തോടു: ഉണരുക എന്നും ഊമക്കല്ലിനോടു: എഴുന്നേൽക്ക എന്നും പറയുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! അതു ഉപദേശിക്കുമോ? അതു പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും പൊതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ ശ്വാസം ഒട്ടും ഇല്ലല്ലോ. | 19 हाथ उस पर जो काठ से कहता है, जाग, वा अबोल पत्यर से, उठ! क्या वह सिखाएगा? देखो, वह सोने चान्दी में मढ़ा हुआ है, परन्तु उस में आत्मा नहीं है।। |
| 20 But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him." | 20 എന്നാൽ യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു; സർവ്വ ഭൂമിയും അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ മൌനമായിരിക്കട്ടെ. | 20 परन्तु यहोवा अपके पवित्र मन्दिर में है; समस्त पृय्वी उसके साम्हने शान्त रहे।। |
