| 3 "I will sweep away man and beast; I will sweep away the birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, and the rubble with the wicked. | 5 those who bow down on the roofs to the host of the heavens, those who bow down and swear to the LORD and yet swear by Milcom, | 5 മേൽപുരകളിൽ ആകാശത്തിലെ സൈന്യത്തെ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നവരെയും യഹോവയെച്ചൊല്ലിയും മൽക്കാമിനെച്ചൊല്ലിയും സത്യം ചെയ്തു നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നവരെയും യഹോവയെ വിട്ടു പിന്മാറിയവരെയും | 5 जो लोग अपके अपके घर की छत पर आकाश के गण को दण्डवत् करते हुए यहोवा की सेवा करने की शपय खाते हैं; |
| 6 those who have turned back from following the LORD, who do not seek the LORD or inquire of him." | 6 യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കയോ അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ചോദിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാത്തവരെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും. | 6 और जो यहोवा के पीछे चलने से लौट गए हैं, और जिन्होंने न तो यहोवा को ढूंढ़ा, और न उसकी खोज में लगे, उनको भी मैं सत्यानाश कर डालूंगा।। |
| 7 Be silent before the Lord GOD! For the day of the LORD is near; the LORD has prepared a sacrifice and consecrated his guests. | 7 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്ക; യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ ഒരു യാഗസദ്യ ഒരുക്കി താൻ ക്ഷണിച്ചവരെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു. | 7 परमेश्वर यहोवा के साम्हने शान्त रहो! क्योंकि यहोवा का दिन निकट है; यहोवा ने यज्ञ सिद्ध किया है, और अपके पाहुनोंको पवित्र किया है। |
| 8 And on the day of the LORD's sacrifice--"I will punish the officials and the king's sons and all who array themselves in foreign attire. | 8 എന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗസദ്യയുള്ള ദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും രാജകുമാരന്മാരെയും അന്യദേശവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഏവരെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും. | 8 और यहोवा के यज्ञ के दिन, मैं हाकिमोंऔर राजकुमारोंको और जितने परदेश के वस्त्र पहिना करते हैं, उनको भी दण्ड दूंगा। |
| 9 On that day I will punish everyone who leaps over the threshold, and those who fill their master's house with violence and fraud. | 9 അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ ഉമ്മരപ്പടി ചാടിക്കടക്കുന്ന ഏവരെയും സാഹസവും വഞ്ചനയുംകൊണ്ടു തങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനന്മാരുടെ വീടുകളെ നിറെക്കുന്നവരെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും. | 9 उस दिन मैं उन सभोंको दण्ड दूंगा जो डेवढ़ी को लांघते, और अपके स्वामी के घर को उपद्रव और छल से भर देते हैं।। |
| 10 "On that day," declares the LORD, "a cry will be heard from the Fish Gate, a wail from the Second Quarter, a loud crash from the hills. | 10 അന്നാളിൽ മത്സ്യഗോപുരത്തിൽനിന്നു ഉറക്കെയുള്ളോരു നിലവിളിയും രണ്ടാമത്തെ നഗരാംശത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒരു മുറവിളയും കുന്നുകളിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ത്സടത്സടനാദവും ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 10 यहोवा की यह वाणी है, कि उस दिन मछली फाटक के पास चिल्लाहट का और नथे टोले मिश्नाह में हाहाकार का और टीलोंपर बड़े धमाके का शब्द होगा। |
| 11 Wail, O inhabitants of the Mortar! For all the traders are no more; all who weigh out silver are cut off. | 11 മക്തേശ് നിവാസികളെ, മുറയിടുവിൻ; വ്യാപാരിജനം ഒക്കെയും നശിച്ചുപോയല്ലോ; സകല ദ്രവ്യവാഹകന്മാരും ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. | 11 हे मक्तेश के रहनेवालो, हाथ, हाथ, करो! क्योंकि सब व्योपारी मिट गए; जितने चान्दी से लदे थे, उन सब का नाश हो गया है। |

| 13 Their goods shall be plundered, and their houses laid waste. | 14 The great day of the LORD is near, near and hastening fast; the sound of the day of the LORD is bitter; the mighty man cries aloud there. | 14 യഹോവയുടെ മഹാദിവസം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു അടുത്തു അത്യന്തം ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്നു; കേട്ടോ യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം! വീരൻ അവിടെ കഠിനമായി നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു. | 14 ृयहोवा का भयानक दिन निकट है, वह बहुत वेग से समीप चला आता है; यहोवा के दिन का शब्द सुन पड़ता है, वहां वीर दु:ख के मारे चिल्लाता है। |
| 15 A day of wrath is that day, a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and devastation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness, | 15 ആ ദിവസം ക്രോധദിവസം, കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം, ശൂന്യതയും നാശവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം, ഇരുട്ടും അന്ധകാരവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം, മേഘവും മൂടലും ഉള്ള ദിവസം, | 15 वह रोष का दिन, वह उजाड़ और उधेड़ का दिन, वह बादल और काली घटा का दिन होगा। |
| 16 a day of trumpet blast and battle cry against the fortified cities and against the lofty battlements. | 16 ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങൾക്കും ഉയരമുള്ള കൊത്തളങ്ങൾക്കും വിരോധമായി കാഹളനാദവും ആരവവും ഉള്ള ദിവസം തന്നേ. | 16 वह गढ़वाले नगरोंऔर ऊंचे गुम्मटोंके विरूद्ध नरसिंगा फूंकने और ललकारने का दिन होगा। |

| 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them on the day of the wrath of the LORD. In the fire of his jealousy, all the earth shall be consumed; for a full and sudden end he will make of all the inhabitants of the earth. | 18 യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധദിവസത്തിൽ അവരുടെ വെള്ളിക്കും പൊന്നിന്നും അവരെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല; സർവ്വഭൂമിയും അവന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതാഗ്നിക്കു ഇരയായ്തീരും; സകല ഭൂവാസികൾക്കും അവൻ ശീഘ്രസംഹാരം വരുത്തും. | 18 यहोवा के रोष के दिन में, न तो चान्दी से उनका बचाव होगा, और न सोने से; क्योंकि उसके जलन की आग से सारी पृय्वी भस्म हो जाएगी; वह पृय्वी के सारे रहनेवालोंको घबराकर उनका अन्त कर डालेगा।। |
