| 2 "The LORD was very angry with your fathers. | 2 യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അത്യന്തം കോപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 2 यहोवा तुम लोगोंके पुरखाओं से बहुत ही क्रोधित हुआ या। |

| 4 Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets cried out, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.' | 5 Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? | 5 നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ എവിടെ? പ്രവാചകന്മാർ സദാകാലം ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുമോ? | 5 तुम्हारे पुरखा कहां रहे? और भविष्यद्वक्ता क्या सदा जीवित रहते हैं? |
| 6 But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? | 8 "I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding on a red horse! | 9 Then I said, 'What are these, my lord?' | 11 And they answered the angel of the LORD who was standing among the myrtle trees, and said, 'We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth remains at rest.' | 11 അവർ കൊഴുന്തുകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നില്ക്കുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾ ഭൂമിയിൽ ഊടാടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു, സർവ്വഭൂമിയും സ്വസ്ഥമായി വിശ്രമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. | 11 तब उन्होंने यहोवा के उस दूत से जो मेंहदियोंके बीच खड़ा या, कहा, हम ने पृय्वी पर सैर किया है, और क्या देखा कि सारी पृय्वी में शान्ति और चैन है। |
| 12 Then the angel of the LORD said, 'O LORD of hosts, how long will you have no mercy on Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which you have been angry these seventy years?' | 12 എന്നാറെ യഹോവയുടെ ദൂതൻ: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, ഈ എഴുപതു സംവത്സരം നീ ക്രൂദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേമിനോടും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളോടും നീ എത്രത്തോളം കരുണ കാണിക്കാതിരിക്കും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. | 12 तब यहोवा के दूत ने कहा, हे सेनाओं के यहोवा, तू जो यरूशलेम और यहूदा के नगरोंपर सत्तर वर्ष से क्रोधित है, सो तू उन पर कब तक दया न करेगा? |
| 13 And the LORD answered gracious and comforting words to the angel who talked with me. | 13 അതിന്നു യഹോവ എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതനോടു നല്ല വാക്കും ആശ്വാസകരമായ വാക്കും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. | 13 और यहोवा ने उत्तर में उस दूत से जो मुझ से बातें करता या, अच्छी अच्छी और शान्ति की बातें कहीं। |
| 14 So the angel who talked with me said to me, 'Cry out, Thus says the LORD of hosts: I am exceedingly jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion. | 14 എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ദൂതൻ എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നീ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിന്നും സീയോന്നും വേണ്ടി മഹാ തീക്ഷ്ണതയോടെ എരിയുന്നു. | 14 तब जो दूत मुझ से बातें करता या, उस ने मुझ से कहा, तू पुकारकर कह कि सेनाओं का यहोवा योंकहता है, मुझे यरूशलेम और सिय्योन के लिथे बड़ी जलन हुई है। |
| 15 And I am exceedingly angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was angry but a little, they furthered the disaster. | 15 ഞാൻ അല്പം മാത്രം കോപിച്ചിരിക്കെ അവർ അനർത്ഥത്തിന്നായി സഹായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു സ്വൈരമായിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളോടു ഞാൻ അത്യന്തം കോപിക്കുന്നു. | 15 और जो जातियां सुख से रहती हैं, उन से मैं क्रोधित हूं; क्योंकि मैं ने तो योड़ा से क्रोध किया या, परन्तु उन्होंने विपत्ति को बढ़ा दिया। |
| 16 Therefore, thus says the LORD, I have returned to Jerusalem with mercy; my house shall be built in it, declares the LORD of hosts, and the measuring line shall be stretched out over Jerusalem. | 16 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ കരുണയോടെ യെരൂശലേമിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ആലയം അതിൽ പണിയും; യെരൂശലേമിന്മേൽ അളവുനൂൽ പിടിക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 16 इस कारण यहोवा योंकहता है, अब मैं दया करके यरूशलेम को लौट आया हूं; मेरा भवन उस में बनेगा, और यरूशलेम पर नापके की डोरी डाली जाएगी, सेनाओं के यहोवा की यही वाणी है। |
| 17 Cry out again, Thus says the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with prosperity, and the LORD will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.'" | 17 നീ ഇനിയും പ്രസംഗിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ഇനിയും അഭിവൃദ്ധിഹേതുവായി വിശാലത പ്രാപിക്കും; യഹോവ ഇനിയും സീയോനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കയും ഇനിയും യെരൂശലേമിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കയും ചെയ്യും. | 17 फिर यह भी पुकारकर कह कि सेनाओं का यहोवा योंकहता है, मेरे नगर फिर उत्तम वस्तुओं से भर जाएंगे, और यहोवा फिर सिय्योन को शान्ति देगा; और यरूशलेम को फिर अपना ठहराएगा।। |
| 18 And I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four horns! | 18 ഞാൻ തല പൊക്കി നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ നാലു കൊമ്പു കണ്ടു. | 18 फिर मैं ने जो आंखें उठाई, तो क्या देखा कि चार सींग हैं। |
| 19 And I said to the angel who talked with me, "What are these?" | 20 Then the LORD showed me four craftsmen. | 20 യഹോവ എനിക്കു നാലു കൊല്ലന്മാരെ കാണിച്ചുതന്നു. | 20 फिर यहोवा ने मुझे चार लोहार दिखाए। |
| 21 And I said, "What are these coming to do?" He said, "These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one raised his head. And these have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it." | 21 ഇവർ എന്തുചെയ്‍വാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു അവൻ: ആരും തല ഉയർത്താതവണ്ണം യെഹൂദയെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ കൊമ്പുകളാകുന്നു അവ; ഇവരോ യെഹൂദാദേശത്തെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊമ്പുയർത്തിയ ജാതികളുടെ കൊമ്പുകളെ തള്ളിയിട്ടു അവരെ പേടിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 21 तब मैं ने पूछा, थे क्या करने को आए हैं? उस ने कहा, थे वे ही सींग हैं, जिन्होंने यहूदा को ऐसा तितर-बितर किया कि कोई सिर न उठा सका; परन्तु थे लोग उन्हें भगाने के लिथे और उन जातियोंके सींगोंको काट डालने के लिथे आए हैं जिन्होंने यहूदा के देश को तितर-बितर करने के लिथे उनके विरूद्ध अपके अपके सींग उठाए थे।। |
