| 2 And all the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, "Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! | 3 Why is the LORD bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become a prey. | 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. | 10 Then all the congregation said to stone them with stones. | 11 And the LORD said to Moses, "How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them? | 11 യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: ഈ ജനം എത്രത്തോളം എന്നെ നിരസിക്കും? ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള അടയാളങ്ങളൊക്കെയും കണ്ടിട്ടും അവർ എത്രത്തോളം എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കാതിരിക്കും? | 11 तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, वे लोग कब तक मेरा तिरस्कार करते रहेंगे? और मेरे सब आश्चर्यकर्म देखने पर भी कब तक मुझ पर विश्वास न करेंगे? |

| 14 and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O LORD, are in the midst of this people. | 21 But truly, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD, | 21 എങ്കിലും എന്നാണ, ഭൂമിയെല്ലാം യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സുകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കും. | 21 परन्तु मेरे जीवन की शपय सचमुच सारी पृय्वी यहोवा की महिमा से परिपूर्ण हो जाएगी; |

| 23 shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. | 24 But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it. | 24 എന്റെ ദാസനായ കാലേബോ, അവന്നു വേറൊരു സ്വഭാവമുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടും എന്നെ പൂർണ്ണമായി അനുസരിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും അവൻ പോയിരുന്ന ദേശത്തേക്കു ഞാൻ അവനെ എത്തിക്കും; അവന്റെ സന്തതി അതു കൈവശമാക്കും. | 24 परन्तु इस कारण से कि मेरे दास कालिब के साय और ही आत्मा है, और उस ने पूरी रीति से मेरा अनुकरण किया है, मैं उसको उस देश में जिस में वह हो आया है पहुंचाऊंगा, और उसका वंश उस देश का अधिक्कारनेी होगा। |

| 27 "How long shall this wicked congregation grumble against me? I have heard the grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against me. | 27 ഈ ദുഷ്ടസഭ എത്രത്തോളം എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി പിറുപിറുക്കും? യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി പിറുപിറുക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. | 27 यह बुरी मण्डली मुझ पर बुड़बुड़ाती रहती है, उसको मैं कब तक सहता रहूं? इस्त्राएली जो मुझ पर बुड़बुड़ाते रहते हैं, उनका यह बुड़बुड़ाना मैं ने तो सुना है। |

| 32 But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness. | 32 നിങ്ങളോ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവം ഈ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വീഴും. | 32 परन्तु तुम लोगोंकी लोथें इसी जंगल में पक्की रहेंगी। |
| 33 And your children shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years and shall suffer for your faithlessness, until the last of your dead bodies lies in the wilderness. | 33 നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഒടുങ്ങുംവരെ നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം ഇടയരായി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാതിവ്രത്യഭംഗം വഹിക്കും; | 33 और जब तक तुम्हारी लोथें जंगल में न गल जाएं तक तक, अर्यात् चालीस वर्ष तक, तुम्हारे बालबच्चे जंगल में तुम्हारे व्यभिचार का फल भोगते हुए चरवाही करते रहेंगे। |
| 34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, a year for each day, you shall bear your iniquity forty years, and you shall know my displeasure.' | 34 ദേശം ഒറ്റുനോക്കിയ നാല്പതു ദിവസത്തിന്റെ എണ്ണത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം, ഒരു ദിവസത്തിന്നു ഒരു സംവത്സരം വീതം, നാല്പതു സംവത്സരം നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ വഹിച്ചു എന്റെ അകല്ച അറിയും. | 34 जितने दिन तुम उस देश का भेद लेते रहे, अर्यात् चालीस दिन उनकी गिनती के अनुसार, दिन पीछे उस वर्ष, अर्यात् चालीस वर्ष तक तुम अपके अधर्म का दण्ड उठाए रहोगे, तब तुम जान लोगे कि मेरा विरोध क्या है। |
| 35 I, the LORD, have spoken. Surely this will I do to all this wicked congregation who are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall come to a full end, and there they shall die." | 35 എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി കൂട്ടംകൂടിയ ഈ ദുഷ്ടസഭയോടു ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യും: ഈ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അവർ ഒടുങ്ങും; ഇവിടെ അവർ മരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 35 मैं यहोवा यह कह चुका हूं, कि इस बुरी मण्डली के लोग जो मेरे विरूद्ध इकट्ठे हुए हैं उसी जंगल में मर मिटेंगे; और नि:सन्देह ऐसा ही करूंगा भी। |

| 37 the men who brought up a bad report of the land--died by plague before the LORD. | 37 ദേശത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ദുർവ്വർത്തമാനം പറഞ്ഞവരുമായ പുരുഷന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഒരു ബാധകൊണ്ടു മരിച്ചു. | 37 उस देश की वे नामधराई करनेवाले पुरूष यहोवा के मारने से उसके साम्हने मर गथे। |
| 38 Of those men who went to spy out the land, only Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive. | 38 എന്നാൽ ദേശം ഒറ്റുനോക്കുവാൻ പോയ പുരുഷന്മാരിൽ നൂന്റെ മകൻ യോശുവയും യെഫുന്നയുടെ പുത്രൻ കാലേബും മരിച്ചില്ല. | 38 परन्तु देश के भेद लेनेवाले पुरूषोंमें से नून का पुत्र यहोशू और यपुन्ने का पुत्र कालिब दोनोंजीवित रहे। |

| 40 And they rose early in the morning and went up to the heights of the hill country, saying, "Here we are. | 42 Do not go up, for the Lord is not among you, lest you be struck down before your enemies. | 42 ശത്രുക്കളാൽ തോൽക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ കയറരുതു; യഹോവ നിങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഇല്ല. | 42 यहोवा तुम्हारे मध्य में नहीं है, मत चढ़ो, नहीं तो शत्रुओं से हार जाओगे। |
| 43 For there the Amalekites and the Canaanites are facing you, and you shall fall by the sword.
