| 3 The next day we put in at Sidon. | 15 And when the ship was caught and could not face the wind, we gave way to it and were driven along. | 15 കപ്പൽ കാറ്റിന്റെ നേരെ നില്പാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം കുടുങ്ങുകയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ കൈവിട്ടു അങ്ങനെ പാറിപ്പോയി. | 15 जब यह जहाज पर लगी, तब वह हवा के साम्हने ठहर न सका, सो हम ने उसे बहने दिया, और इसी तरह बहते हुए चले गए। |
| 16 Running under the lee of a small island called Cauda, we managed with difficulty to secure the ship's boat. | 16 ക്ലൌദ എന്ന ചെറിയ ദ്വീപിന്റെ മറപറ്റി ഓടീട്ടു പ്രയാസത്തോടെ തോണി കൈവശമാക്കി. | 16 तब कौदा नाम एक छोटे से टापू की आड़ में बहते बहते हम किठनता से डोंगी को वश मे कर सके। |
| 17 After hoisting it up, they used supports to undergird the ship. Then, fearing that they would run aground on the Syrtis, they lowered the gear, and thus they were driven along. | 17 അതു വലിച്ചുകയറ്റീട്ടു അവർ കപ്പൽ ചുറ്റിക്കെട്ടിയും മറ്റും ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തി; പിന്നെ മണത്തിട്ടമേൽ അകപ്പെടും എന്നു പേടിച്ചു പായി ഇറക്കി അങ്ങനെ പാറിപ്പോയി. | 17 मल्लाहोंने उसे उठाकर, अनेक उपाय करके जहाज को नीचे से बान्धा, और सुरितस के चोरबालू पर टिक जाने के भय से पाल और सामान उतार कर, बहते हुए चले गए। |
| 18 Since we were violently storm-tossed, they began the next day to jettison the cargo. | 18 ഞങ്ങൾ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിനാൽ അത്യന്തം അലയുകകൊണ്ടു പിറ്റെന്നു അവർ ചരക്കു പുറത്തുകളഞ്ഞു. | 18 और जब हम ने आंधी से बहुत हिचकोले और ध?े खाए, तो दूसरे दिन वे जहाज का माल फेंकने लगे। और तीसरे दिन उन्होंने अपके हाथोंसे जहाज का सामान फेंक दिया। |
| 19 And on the third day they threw the ship's tackle overboard with their own hands. | 19 മൂന്നാം നാൾ അവർ സ്വന്തകയ്യാൽ കപ്പൽകോപ്പും കടലിൽ ഇട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു. | 19 और तीसरे दिन उन्होंने अपके हाथोंसे जहाज का सामान फेंक दिया। |
| 20 When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope of our being saved was at last abandoned. | 20 വളരെ നാളായിട്ടു സൂര്യനെയോ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെയോ കാണാതെയും വല്ലാത്ത കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു അടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും ഇരിക്കയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ രക്ഷപ്പെടും എന്നുള്ള ആശ ഒക്കെയും അറ്റുപോയി. | 20 और जब बहुत दथें तक न सूर्य न तारे दिखाई दिए, और बड़ी आंधी चल रही यी, तो अन्त में हमारे बचने की सारी आशा जाती रही। |
| 21 Since they had been without food for a long time, Paul stood up among them and said, "Men, you should have listened to me and not have set sail from Crete and incurred this injury and loss. | 21 അവർ വളരെ പട്ടിണി കിടന്നശേഷം പൌലോസ് അവരുടെ നടുവിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു പറഞ്ഞതു: പുരുഷന്മാരേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു അനുസരിച്ചു ക്രേത്തയിൽനിന്നു നീക്കാതെയും ഈ കഷ്ട നഷ്ടങ്ങൾ സമ്പാദിക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. | 21 जब वे बहुत उपवास कर चुके, तो पौलुस ने उन के बीच में खड़ा होकर कहा; हे लोगो, चाहिए या कि तुम मेरी बात मानकर, क्रेते से न जहाज खोलते और न यह बिपत और हाति उठाते। |

| 24 and he said, 'Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. | 25 So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told. | 25 അതുകൊണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ധൈര്യത്തോടിരിപ്പിൻ; എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ സംഭവിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. | 25 इसलिथे, हे सज्ज़नोंढाढ़स बान्धों; क्योंकि मैं परमेश्वर की प्रतीति करता हूं, कि जैसा मुझ से कहा गया है, वैसा ही होगा। |
| 26 But we must run aground on some island." | 26 എങ്കിലും നാം ഒരു ദ്വീപിന്മേൽ മുട്ടി വീഴേണ്ടതാകുന്നു. | 26 परन्तु हमें किसी टापू पर जा टिकना होगा।। |

| 28 So they took a sounding and found twenty fathoms. | 30 And as the sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, and had lowered the ship's boat into the sea under pretense of laying out anchors from the bow, | 30 എന്നാൽ കപ്പൽക്കാർ കപ്പൽ വിട്ടു ഓടിപ്പോകുവാൻ വിചാരിച്ചു അണിയത്തുനിന്നു നങ്കൂരം ഇടുവാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നുള്ള ഭാവത്തിൽ തോണി കടലിൽ ഇറക്കി. | 30 परन्तु जब मल्लाह जहाज पर से भागना चाहते थे, और गलही से लंगर डालने के बहाने डोंगी समुद्र में उतार दी। |
| 31 Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, "Unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved." | 31 അപ്പോൾ പൌലൊസ് ശതാധിപനോടും പടയാളികളോടും: ഇവർ കപ്പലിൽ താമസിച്ചല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു രക്ഷപ്പെടുവാൻ കഴിയുന്നതല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 31 तो पौलुस ने सूबेदार और सिपाहियोंसे कहा; यदि थे जहाज पर न रहें, तो तुम नहीं बच सकते। |

| 34 Therefore I urge you to take some food. | 35 And when he had said these things, he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all he broke it and began to eat. | 35 ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അപ്പം എടുത്തു എല്ലാവരും കാൺകെ ദൈവത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തിട്ടു നുറുക്കി തിന്നുതുടങ്ങി. | 35 और यह कहकर उस ने रोटी लेकर सब के साम्हने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद किया; और तोड़कर खाने लगा। |
| 36 Then they all were encouraged and ate some food themselves. | 36 അപ്പോൾ എല്ലാവരും ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചു. | 36 तब वे सब भी ढाढ़स बान्धकर भोजन करने लगे। |
| 37 (We were in all 276 persons in the ship.) | 37 കപ്പലിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ആകപ്പാടെ ഇരുനൂറ്റെഴുപത്താറു ആൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. | 37 हम सब मिलकर जहाज पर दो सौ छिहत्तर जन थे। |
| 38 And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, throwing out the wheat into the sea. | 38 അവർ തിന്നു തൃപ്തിവന്നശേഷം ധാന്യം കടലിൽ കളഞ്ഞു കപ്പലിന്റെ ഭാരം കുറെച്ചു. | 38 जब वे भोजन करके तृप्त हुए, तो गेंहू को समुद्र में फेंक कर जहाज हल्का करने लगे। |
| 39 Now when it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed a bay with a beach, on which they planned if possible to run the ship ashore. | 39 വെളിച്ചമായപ്പോൾ ഇന്ന ദേശം എന്നു അവർ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല എങ്കിലും കരയുള്ളോരു തുറ കണ്ടു, കഴിയും എങ്കിൽ കപ്പൽ അതിലേക്കു ഓടിക്കേണം എന്നു ഭാവിച്ചു. | 39 जब बिहान हुआ, तो उन्होंने उस देश को नहीं पहिचाना, परन्तु एक खाड़ी देखी जिस का चौरस किनारा या, और विचार किया, कि यदि हो सके, तो इसी पर जहाज को टिकाएं। |
| 40 So they cast off the anchors and left them in the sea, at the same time loosening the ropes that tied the rudders. | 41 But striking a reef, they ran the vessel aground.
