| 1 Or do you not know, brothers--for I am speaking to those who know the law--that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? | 1 സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ന്യായപ്രമാണം അറിയുന്നവരോടല്ലോ ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു: മനുഷ്യൻ ജീവനോടിരിക്കും കാലത്തൊക്കെയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു അവന്റെമേൽ അധികാരമുണ്ടു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ? | 1 हे भाइयो, क्या तुम नहीं जातने मैं व्यवस्या के जाननेवालोंसे कहता हूं, कि जब तक मनुष्य जीवित रहता है, तक तक उस पर व्यवस्या की प्रभूता रहती है |
| 2 Thus a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage. | 2 ഭർത്താവുള്ള സ്ത്രീ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഭർത്താവിനോടു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഭർത്താവു മരിച്ചാൽ അവൾ ഭർത്തൃന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിവുള്ളവളായി. | 2 क्योंकि विवाहिता स्त्री व्यवस्या के अनुसार अपके पति के जीते जी उस से बन्धी है, परन्तु यदि पति मर जाए, तो वह पति की व्यवस्या से छूट गई। |
| 3 Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she lives with another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she marries another man she is not an adulteress. | 3 ഭർത്താവു ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൾ വേറെ പുരുഷന്നു ആയാൽ വ്യഭിചാരിണി എന്നു പേർവരും; ഭർത്താവു മരിച്ചു എങ്കിലോ അവൾ വേറെ പുരുഷന്നു ആയാൽ വ്യഭിചാരിണി എന്നു വരാതവണ്ണം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു സ്വതന്ത്രയാകുന്നു. | 3 सो यदि पति के जीते जी वह किसी दूसरे पुरूष की हो जाए, तो व्यभिचारिणी कहलाएगी, परन्तु यदि पति मर जाए, तो वह उस व्यवस्या से छूट गई, यहां तक कि यदि किसी दूसरे पुरूष की हो जाए, तौभी व्यभिचारिणी न ठहरेगी। |
| 4 Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. | 4 അതുകൊണ്ടു സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നാം ദൈവത്തിന്നു ഫലം കായ്ക്കുമാറു മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവനായ വേറോരുവന്നു ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളും ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ശരീരം മുഖാന്തരം ന്യായപ്രമാണസംബന്ധമായി മരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. | 4 सो हे मेरे भाइयो, तुम भी मसीह की देह के द्वारा व्यवस्या के लिथे मरे हुए बन गए, कि उस दूसरे के हो जाओ, जो मरे हुओं में से जी उठा: ताकि हम परमेश्वर के लिथे फल लाएं। |
| 5 For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. | 5 നാം ജഡത്തിലായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ ഉളവായ പാപരാഗങ്ങൾ മരണത്തിന്നു ഫലം കായ്ക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നമ്മുടെ അവയവങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാപരിച്ചുപോന്നു. | 5 क्योंकि जब हम शारीरिक थे, तो पापोंकी अभिलाषाथें जो व्यवस्या के द्वारा यी, मृत्यु का फल उत्पन्न करने के लिथे हमारे अंगोंमें काम करती यीं। |
| 6 But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit. | 6 ഇപ്പോഴോ, നമ്മെ പിടിച്ചടക്കിയിരുന്ന ന്യായപ്രമാണം സംബന്ധിച്ചു മരിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അക്ഷരത്തിന്റെ പഴക്കത്തിലല്ല ആത്മാവിന്റെ പുതുക്കത്തിൽ തന്നേ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിവുള്ളവരായിരിക്കുന്നു. | 6 परन्तु जिस के बन्धन में हम थे उसके लिथे मर कर, अब व्यवस्या से ऐसे छूट गए, कि लेख की पुरानी रीति पर नहीं, बरन आत्क़ा की नई रीति पर सेवा करते हैं।। |
| 7 What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, "You shall not covet." | 7 ആകയാൽ നാം എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു? ന്യായപ്രമാണം പാപം എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു. എങ്കിലും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ അല്ലാതെ ഞാൻ പാപത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല; മോഹിക്കരുതു എന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണം പറയാതിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ മോഹത്തെ അറികയില്ലായിരുന്നു. | 7 तो हम क्या कहें क्या व्यवस्या पाप है कदापि नहीं! बरन बिना व्यवस्या के मैं पाप को नहीं पहिचानता: व्यवस्या यदि न कहती, कि लालच मत कर तो मैं लालच को न जानता। |
| 8 But sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. Apart from the law, sin lies dead. | 8 പാപമോ അവസരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടു കല്പനയാൽ എന്നിൽ സകലവിധ മോഹത്തെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൂടാതെ പാപം നിർജ്ജീവമാകുന്നു. | 8 परन्तु पाप ने अवसर पाकर आज्ञा के द्वारा मुझ में सब प्रकार का लालच उत्पन्न किया, क्योंकि बिना व्यवस्या के पाप मुर्दा है। |
| 9 I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin came alive and I died. | 9 ഞാൻ ഒരുകാലത്തു ന്യായപ്രമാണം കൂടാതെ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ കല്പന വന്നപ്പോൾ പാപംവീണ്ടും ജീവിക്കയും ഞാൻ മരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. | 9 मैं तो व्यवस्या बिना पहिले जीवित या, परन्तु जब आज्ञा आई, तो पाप जी गया, और मैं मर गया। |
| 10 The very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me. | 10 ഇങ്ങനെ ജീവന്നായി ലഭിച്ചിരുന്ന കല്പന എനിക്കു മരണ ഹേതുവായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. പാപം അവസരം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടു കല്പനയാൽ എന്നെ ചതിക്കയും കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു. | 10 और वही आज्ञा जो जीवन के लिथे यी; मेरे लिथे मृत्यु का कारण ठहरी। |
| 11 For sin, seizing an opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. | 12 ആകയാൽ ന്യായപ്രമാണം വിശുദ്ധം; കല്പന വിശുദ്ധവും ന്യായവും നല്ലതും തന്നേ. | 11 क्योंकि पाप ने अवसर पाकर आज्ञा के द्वारा मुझै बहकाया, और उसी के द्वारा मुझे मार भी डाला। |
| 12 So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. | 13 എന്നാൽ നന്മയായുള്ളതു എനിക്കു മരണകാരണമായിത്തീർന്നു എന്നോ? ഒരുനാളും അരുതു, പാപമത്രേ മരണമായിത്തീർന്നതു; അതു നന്മയായുള്ളതിനെക്കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു മരണം ഉളവാക്കുന്നതിനാൽ പാപം എന്നു തെളിയേണ്ടതിന്നും കല്പനയാൽ അത്യന്തം പാപമായിത്തീരേണ്ടതിന്നും തന്നേ. | 12 इसलिथे व्यवस्या पवित्र है, और आज्ञा भी ठीक और अच्छी है। |
| 13 Did that which is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, producing death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure. | 14 ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആത്മികം എന്നു നാം അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഞാനോ ജഡമയൻ, പാപത്തിന്നു ദാസനായി വിൽക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ തന്നേ. | 13 तो क्या वह जो अच्छी यी, मेरे लिथे मृत्यु ठहरी कदापि नहीं! परन्तु पाप उस अच्छी वस्तु के द्वारा मेरे लिथे मृत्यु का उत्पन्न करनेवाला हुआ कि उसका पाप होना प्रगट हो, और आज्ञा के द्वारा पाप बहुत ही पापमय ठहरे। |
| 14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. | 15 ഞാൻ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതിനെ അല്ല പകെക്കുന്നതിനെ അത്രേ ചെയ്യുന്നതു. | 14 क्योंकि हम जानते हैं कि व्यवस्या तो आत्क़िक है, परन्तु मैं शरीरिक और पाप के हाथ बिका हुआ हूं। |
| 15 I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. | 16 ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്തതിനെ ചെയ്യുന്നു എങ്കിലോ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നല്ലതു എന്നു ഞാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു. | 15 और जो मैं करता हूं, उस को नहीं जानता, क्योंकि जो मैं चाहता हूं, वह नहीं किया करता, परन्तु जिस से मुझे घृणा आती है, वही करता हूं। |
| 16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. | 17 ആകയാൽ അതിനെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു ഞാനല്ല എന്നിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന പാപമത്രേ. | 16 और यदि, जो मैं नहीं चाहता वही करता हूं, तो मैं मान लेता हूं, कि व्यवस्या भली है। |
| 17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. | 18 എന്നിൽ എന്നുവെച്ചാൽ എന്റെ ജഡത്തിൽ നന്മ വസിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാനുള്ള താല്പര്യം എനിക്കുണ്ടു; പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതോ ഇല്ല. | 17 तो ऐसी दशा में उसका करनेवाला मैं नहीं, बरन पाप है, जो मुझ में बसा हुआ है। |
| 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. | 19 ഞാൻ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലല്ലോ; ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്ത തിന്മയത്രേ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു. | 18 क्योंकि मैं जानता हूं, कि मुझ में अर्यात् मेरे शरीर में कोई अच्छी वस्तु वास नहीं करती, इच्छा तो मुझ में है, परन्तु भले काम मुझ से बन नहीं पड़ते। |
| 19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. | 20 ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കാത്തതിനെ ചെയ്യുന്നു എങ്കിലോ അതിനെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു ഞാനല്ല എന്നിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന പാപമത്രേ. | 19 क्योंकि जिस अच्छे काम की मैं इच्छा करता हूं, वह तो नहीं करता, परन्तु जिस बुराई की इच्छा नहीं करता वही किया करता हूं। |
| 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. | 21 അങ്ങനെ നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന ഞാൻ തിന്മ എന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു എന്നൊരു പ്രമാണം കാണുന്നു. | 20 परन्तु यदि मैं वही करता हूं, जिस की इच्छा नहीं करता, तो उसका करनेवाला मैं न रहा, परन्तु पाप जो मुझ में बसा हुआ है। |
| 21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. | 22 ഉള്ളംകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ രസിക്കുന്നു. | 21 सो मैं यह व्यवस्या पाता हूं, कि जब भलाई करने की इच्छा करता हूं, तो बुराई मेरे पास आती है। |
| 22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, | 23 എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ബുദ്ധിയുടെ പ്രമാണത്തോടു പോരാടുന്ന വേറൊരു പ്രമാണം ഞാൻ എന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളിൽ കാണുന്നു; അതു എന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളിലുള്ള പാപപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു എന്നെ ബദ്ധനാക്കിക്കളയുന്നു. | 22 क्योंकि मैं भीतरी मनुष्यत्व से तो परमेश्वर की व्यवस्या से बहुत प्रसन्न रहता हूं। |
| 23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. | 24 അയ്യോ, ഞാൻ അരിഷ്ടമനുഷ്യൻ! ഈ മരണത്തിന്നു അധീനമായ ശരീരത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ ആർ വിടുവിക്കും? | 23 परन्तु मुझे अपके अंगो में दूसरे प्रकार की व्यवस्या दिखाई पड़ती है, जो मेरी बुद्धि की व्यवस्या से लड़ती है, और मुझे पाप की व्यवस्या के बन्धन में डालती है जो मेरे अंगोंमें है। |
| 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? | 25 നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ തന്നേ ബുദ്ധികൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രമാണത്തെയും ജഡംകൊണ്ടു പാപത്തിന്റെ പ്രമാണത്തെയും സേവിക്കുന്നു. | 24 मैं कैसा अभागा मनुष्य हूं! मुझे इस मृत्यु की देह से कौन छुड़ाएगा |
| 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin. | 25 मैं अपके प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूं: निदान मैं आप बुद्धि से तो परमेश्वर की व्यवस्या का, परन्तु शरीर से पाप की व्यवस्या का सेवन करता हूं।। |
