| 1 "If in the land that the LORD your God is giving you to possess someone is found slain, lying in the open country, and it is not known who killed him, | 1 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു വയലിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ കൊന്നിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു കാണുകയും അവനെ കൊന്നവൻ ആരെന്നു അറിയാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ നിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും | 1 यदि उस देश के मैदान में जो तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझे देता है किसी मारे हुए की लोय पक्की हुई मिले, और उसको किस ने मार डाला है यह जान न पके, |
| 2 then your elders and your judges shall come out, and they shall measure the distance to the surrounding cities. | 2 ന്യായധിപതിമാരും പുറത്തു ചെന്നു കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമിരിക്കുന്ന അതതു പട്ടണംവരെയുള്ള ദൂരം അളക്കേണം. | 2 तो तेरे सियाने लोग और न्यायी निकलकर उस लोय के चारोंओर के एक एक नगर की दूरी को नापें; |
| 3 And the elders of the city that is nearest to the slain man shall take a heifer that has never been worked and that has not pulled in a yoke. | 3 കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവന്നു അധികം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ, വേല ചെയ്യിക്കാത്തതും നുകം വെക്കാത്തതുമായ ഒരു പശുക്കിടാവിനെ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം. | 3 तब जो नगर उस लोय के सब से निकट ठहरे, उसके सियाने लोग एक ऐसी कलोर ले रखें, जिस से कुछ काम न लिया गया हो, और जिस पर जूआ कभी न रखा गया हो। |
| 4 And the elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a valley with running water, which is neither plowed nor sown, and shall break the heifer's neck there in the valley. | 4 ആ പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ ഉഴവും വിതയും ഇല്ലാത്തതും നിരൊഴുക്കുള്ളതുമായ ഒരു താഴ്വരയിൽ പശുക്കിടാവിനെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു അവിടെവെച്ചു പശുക്കിടാവിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയേണം. | 4 तब उस नगर के सियाने लोग उस कलोर को एक बारहमासी नदी की ऐसी तराई में जो न जोती और न बोई गई हो ले जाएं, और उसी तराई में उस कलोर का गला तोड़ दें। |
| 5 Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come forward, for the LORD your God has chosen them to minister to him and to bless in the name of the LORD, and by their word every dispute and every assault shall be settled. | 5 പിന്നെ ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ അടുത്തു ചെല്ലേണം; അവരെയല്ലോ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്‍വാനും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പാനും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതു; അവരുടെ വാക്കിൻ പ്രകാരം സകലവ്യവഹാരവും അടികലശലും തീർക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു. | 5 और लेवीय याजक भी निकट आएं, क्योंकि तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने उनको चुन लिया है कि उसकी सेवा टहल करें और उसके नाम से आशीर्वाद दिया करें, और उनके कहने के अनुसार हर एक फगड़े और मारपीट के मुकद्दमे का निर्णय हो। |
| 6 And all the elders of that city nearest to the slain man shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley, | 6 കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവന്നു അടുത്ത പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും താഴ്വരയിൽവെച്ചു കഴുത്തൊടിച്ച പശുക്കിടാവിന്മേൽ തങ്ങളുടെ കൈ കഴുകി: | 6 फिर जो नगर उस लोय के सब से निकट ठहरे, उसके सब सियाने लोग उस कलोर के ऊपर जिसका गला तराई में तोड़ा गया हो अपके अपके हाथ धोकर कहें, |
| 7 and they shall testify, 'Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it shed. | 7 ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൈകൾ ആ രക്തം ചിന്നീട്ടില്ല, ഞങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണു അതു കണ്ടിട്ടുമില്ല. | 7 यह खून हम से नहीं किया गया, और न यह हमारी आंखोंका देखा हुआ काम है। |
| 8 Accept atonement, O LORD, for your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, and do not set the guilt of innocent blood in the midst of your people Israel, so that their blood guilt be atoned for.' | 8 യഹോവ, നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിട്ടുള്ള നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം ഇരിപ്പാൻ ഇടവരുത്തരുതേ എന്നു പറയേണം; എന്നാൽ ആ രക്തപാതകം അവരോടു മോചിക്കപ്പെടും. | 8 इसलिथे, हे यहोवा, अपक्की छुड़ाई हुई इस्राएली प्रजा का पाप ढांपकर निर्दोष खून का पाप अपक्की इस्राएल प्रजा के सिर पर से उतार। तब उस खून का दोष उनको झमा कर दिया जाएगा। |
| 9 So you shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from your midst, when you do what is right in the sight of the LORD. | 9 ഇങ്ങനെ യഹോവെക്കു ഹിതമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയേണം. | 9 योंवह काम करके जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में ठीक है तू निर्दोष के खून का दोष अपके मध्य में से दूर करना।। |
| 10 "When you go out to war against your enemies, and the LORD your God gives them into your hand and you take them captive, | 10 നീ ശത്രുക്കളോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‍വാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടിട്ടു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കയും നീ അവരെ ബദ്ധന്മാരായി പിടിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ | 10 जब तू अपके शत्रुओं से युद्ध करने को जाए, और तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा उन्हें तेरे हाथ में कर दे, और तू उन्हें बन्धुआ कर ले, |
| 11 and you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you desire to take her to be your wife, | 11 ആ ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ സുന്ദരിയായൊരു സ്ത്രീയെ കണ്ടു ഭാര്യയായി എടുപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവളോടു പ്രേമം ജനിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ | 11 तब यदि तू बन्धुओं में किसी सुन्दर स्त्री को देखकर उस पर मोहित हो जाए, और उस से ब्याह कर लेना चाहे, |

| 13 And she shall take off the clothes in which she was captured and shall remain in your house and lament her father and her mother a full month. | 14 But if you no longer delight in her, you shall let her go where she wants. | 17 but he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the unloved, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the firstfruits of his strength. The right of the firstborn is his. | 17 തനിക്കുള്ള സകലത്തിലും രണ്ടു പങ്കു അനിഷ്ടയുടെ മകന്നു കൊടുത്തു അവനെ ആദ്യജാതനെന്നു സ്വീകരിക്കേണം; അവൻ അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭമല്ലോ; ജ്യേഷ്ഠാവകാശം അവന്നുള്ളതാകുന്നു. | 17 वह यह जानकर कि अप्रिया का बेटा मेरे पौरूष का पहिला फल है, और जेठे का अधिक्कारने उसी का है, उसी को अपक्की सारी सम्पत्ति में से दो भाग देकर जेठांसी माने।। |
| 18 "If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they discipline him, will not listen to them, | 18 അപ്പന്റെയോ അമ്മയുടെയോ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതെയും അവർ ശാസിച്ചാലും അനുസരിക്കാതെയുമിരിക്കുന്ന ശഠനും മത്സരിയുമായ മകൻ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ | 18 यदि किसी के हठीला और दंगैत बेटा हो, जो अपके माता-पिता की बात न माने, किन्तु ताड़ना देने पर भी उनकी न सुने, |
| 19 then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, | 19 അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ അവനെ പിടിച്ചു പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പട്ടണവാതിൽക്കലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി: | 19 तो उसके माता-पिता उसे पकड़कर अपके नगर से बाहर फाटक के निकट नगर के सियानोंके पास ले जाएं, |
| 20 and they shall say to the elders of his city, 'This our son is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.' | 20 ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഈ മകൻ ശഠനും മത്സരിയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാത്തവനും തിന്നിയും കുടിയനും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പട്ടണത്തിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാരോടു പറയേണം. | 20 और वे नगर के सियानोंसे कहें, कि हमारा यह बेटा हठीला और दंगैत है, यह हमारी नहीं सुनता; यह उड़ाऊ और पियक्कड़ है। |
| 21 Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones. | 22 "And if a man has committed a crime punishable by death and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, | 22 ഒരുത്തൻ മരണയോഗ്യമായ ഒരു പാപം ചെയ്തിട്ടു അവനെ കൊന്നു ഒരു മരത്തിൽ തൂക്കിയാൽ അവന്റെ ശവം മരത്തിന്മേൽ രാത്രിമുഴുവനും ഇരിക്കരുതു; അന്നുതന്നേ അതു കുഴിച്ചിടേണം; തൂങ്ങിമരിച്ചവൻ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ ശാപഗ്രസ്തൻ ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന ദേശം നീ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു | 22 फिर यदि किसी से प्राणदण्ड के योग्य कोई पाप हुआ हो जिस से वह मार डाला जाए, और तू उसकी लोय को वृझ पर लटका दे, |
| 23 his body shall not remain all night on the tree, but you shall bury him the same day, for a hanged man is cursed by God. You shall not defile your land that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance. | 23 तो वह लोय रात को वृझ पर टंगी न रहे, अवश्य उसी दिन उसे मिट्टी देना, क्योंकि जो लटकाया गया हो वह परमेश्वर की ओर से शापित ठहरता है; इसलिथे जो देश तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तेरा भाग करके देता है उसकी भूमि को अशुद्ध न करना।। |
