| 2 and when the LORD your God gives them over to you, and you defeat them, then you must devote them to complete destruction. | 4 for they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods. | 6 "For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. | 6 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു നീ ഒരു വിശുദ്ധജനം ആകുന്നു; ഭൂതലത്തിലുള്ള സകലജാതികളിലുംവെച്ചു നിന്നെ തനിക്കു സ്വന്തജനമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. | 6 क्योंकि तू अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा की पवित्र प्रजा है; यहोवा ने पृय्वी भर के सब देशोंके लोगोंमें से तुझ को चुन लिया है कि तू उसकी प्रजा और निज धन ठहरे। |
| 7 It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the LORD set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, | 7 നിങ്ങൾ സംഖ്യയിൽ സകലജാതികളെക്കാളും പെരുപ്പമുള്ളവരാകകൊണ്ടല്ല യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതു; നിങ്ങൾ സകലജാതികളെക്കാളും കുറഞ്ഞവരല്ലോ ആയിരുന്നതു. | 7 यहोवा ने जो तुम से स्नेह करके तुम को चुन लिया, इसका कारण यह नहीं या कि तुम गिनती में और सब देशोंके लोगोंसे अधिक थे, किन्तु तुम तो सब देशोंके लोगोंसे गिनती में योड़े थे; |

| 10 and repays to their face those who hate him, by destroying them. He will not be slack with one who hates him. | 13 He will love you, bless you, and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, your grain and your wine and your oil, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock, in the land that he swore to your fathers to give you. | 13 അവൻ നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും; അവൻ നിനക്കു തരുമെന്നു നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തു നിന്റെ ഗർഭഫലവും നിന്റെ കൃഷിഫലവും ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞും എണ്ണയും നിന്റെ കന്നുകാലികളുടെ പേറും ആടുകളുടെ പിറപ്പും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും. | 13 और वह तुझ से प्रेम रखेगा, और तुझे आशीष देगा, और गिनती में बढ़ाएगा; और जो देश उस ने तेरे पूर्वजोंसे शपय खाकर तुझे देने को कहा है उस में वह तेरी सन्तान पर, और अन्न, नथे दाखमधु, और टटके तेल आदि, भूमि की उपज पर आशीष दिया करेगा, और तेरी गाय-बैल और भेड़-बकरियोंकी बढ़ती करेगा। |
| 14 You shall be blessed above all peoples. There shall not be male or female barren among you or among your livestock. | 14 നീ സകലജാതികളെക്കാളും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും; വന്ധ്യനും വന്ധ്യയും നിങ്ങളിലാകട്ടെ നിന്റെ നാൽക്കാലികളിലാകട്ടെ ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല. | 14 तू सब देशोंके लोगोंसे अधिक धन्य होगा; तेरे बीच में न पुरूष न स्त्री निर्वंश होगी, और तेरे पशुओं में भी ऐसा कोई न होगा। |
| 15 And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you knew, will he inflict on you, but he will lay them on all who hate you. | 15 യഹോവ സകലരോഗവും നിങ്കൽനിന്നു അകറ്റിക്കളയും; നീ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ ദുർവ്വ്യാധികളിൽ ഒന്നും അവൻ നിന്റെ മേൽ വരുത്താതെ നിന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും അവയെ കൊടുക്കും. | 15 और यहोवा तुझ से सब प्रकार के रोग दूर करेगा; और मिस्र की बुरी बुरी व्याधियां जिन्हें तू जानता है उन में से किसी को भी तुझे लगने न देगा, थे सब तेरे बैरियोंही को लगेंगे। |
| 16 And you shall consume all the peoples that the LORD your God will give over to you. Your eye shall not pity them, neither shall you serve their gods, for that would be a snare to you. | 16 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കുന്ന സകലജാതികളെയും നീ മുടിച്ചുകളയേണം; നിനക്കു അവരോടു കനിവു തോന്നരുതു; അവരുടെ ദേവന്മാരെ നീ സേവിക്കരുതു; അതു നിനക്കു കണിയായിത്തീരും. | 16 और देश देश के जितने लोगोंको तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा तेरे वश में कर देगा, तू उन सभोंको सत्यानाश करना; उन पर तरस की दृष्टि न करना, और न उनके देवताओं की उपासना करना, नहीं तो तू फन्दे में फंस जाएगा। |
| 17 "If you say in your heart, 'These nations are greater than I. | 19 the great trials that your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which the LORD your God brought you out. | 20 Moreover, the LORD your God will send hornets among them, until those who are left and hide themselves from you are destroyed. | 20 അത്രയുമല്ല, ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവരും നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ഒളിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നവരും നശിച്ചുപോകുംവരെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ കടുന്നലിനെ അയക്കും. | 20 इस से अधिक तेरा परमेश्वर यहोवा उनके बीच बर्रे भी भेजेगा, यहां तक कि उन में से जो बचकर छिप जाएंगे वे भी तेरे साम्हने से नाश हो जाएंगे। |

| 22 The LORD your God will clear away these nations before you little by little. | 24 And he will give their kings into your hand, and you shall make their name perish from under heaven. No one shall be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them. | 24 അവരെ സംഹരിച്ചുതീരുവോളം ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിൽക്കയില്ല. | 24 और वह उनके राजाओं को तेरे हाथ में करेगा, और तू उनका भी नाम धरती पर से मिटा डालेगा; उन में से कोई भी तेरे साम्हने खड़ा न रह सकेगा, और अन्त में तू उन्हें सत्यानाश कर डालेगा। |
| 25 The carved images of their gods you shall burn with fire. | 26 And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction. | 26 നീയും അതുപോലെ ശാപമായ്തീരാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അറെപ്പായുള്ളതു നിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകരുതു; അതു നിനക്കു തീരെ അറെപ്പും വെറുപ്പുമായിരിക്കേണം; അതു ശാപഗ്രസ്തമല്ലോ. | 26 और कोई घृणित वस्तु अपके घर में न ले आना, नहीं तो तू भी उसके समान नष्ट हो जाने की वस्तु ठहरेगा; उसे सत्यानाश की वस्तु जानकर उस से घृणा करना और उसे कदापि न चाहना; क्योंकि वह अशुद्ध वस्तु है। |
