| 7 It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. | 8 If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. | 8 എല്ലാവരും പ്രാപിക്കുന്ന ബാലശിക്ഷ കൂടാതിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മക്കളല്ല കൌലടേയന്മാരത്രേ. | 8 यदि वह ताड़ना जिस के भागी सब होते हैं, तुम्हारी नहीं हुई, तो तुम पुत्र नहीं, पर व्यभिचार की सन्तान ठहरे! |
| 9 Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. | 11 For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. | 11 ഏതു ശിക്ഷയും തൽക്കാലം സന്തോഷകരമല്ല ദുഃഖകരമത്രേ എന്നു തോന്നും; പിന്നത്തേതിലോ അതിനാൽ അഭ്യാസം വന്നവർക്കു നീതി എന്ന സമാധാന ഫലം ലഭിക്കും. | 11 और वर्तमान में हर प्रकार की ताड़ना आनन्द की नहीं, पर शोक ही की बात दिखाई पड़ती है, तौभी जो उस को सहते सहते पके हो गए हैं, पीछे उन्हें चैन के साय धर्म का प्रतिफल मिलता है। |
| 12 Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, | 12 ആകയാൽ തളർന്ന കയ്യും കുഴഞ്ഞ മുഴങ്കാലും നിവിർത്തുവിൻ. | 12 इसलिथे ढीले हाथोंऔर निर्बल घुटनोंको सीधे करो। |
| 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. | 13 മുടന്തുള്ളതു ഉളുക്കിപ്പോകാതെ ഭേദമാകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലിന്നു പാത നിരത്തുവിൻ. | 13 और अपके पांवोंके लिथे सीधे मार्ग बनाओ, कि लंगड़ा भटक न जाए, पर भला चंगा हो जाए।। |
| 14 Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. | 14 എല്ലാവരോടും സമാധാനം ആചരിച്ചു ശുദ്ധീകരണം പ്രാപിപ്പാൻ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിൻ. ശുദ്ധീകരണം കൂടാതെ ആരും കർത്താവിനെ കാണുകയില്ല. | 14 सब से मेल मिलाप रखने, और उस पवित्रता के खोजी हो जिस के बिना कोई प्रभु को कदापि न देखेगा। |
| 15 See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no "root of bitterness" springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled; | 15 ആരും ദൈവകൃപ വിട്ടു പിൻമാറുകയും വല്ല കൈപ്പുള്ള വേരും മുളെച്ചു കലക്കമുണ്ടാക്കി അനേകർ അതിനാൽ മലിനപ്പെടുകയും ആരും ദുർന്നടപ്പുകാരനോ, ഒരു ഊണിന്നു ജ്യേഷ്ഠാവകാശം വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ ഏശാവിനെപ്പോലെ അഭക്തനോ ആയിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ കരുതിക്കൊൾവിൻ. | 15 और ध्यान से देखते रहो, ऐसा न हो, कि कोई परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह से वंचित रह जाए, या कोई कड़वी जड़ फूटकर कष्ट दे, और उसके द्वारा बहुत से लोग अशुद्ध हो जाएं। |
| 16 that no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal. | 17 അവൻ പിന്നത്തേതിൽ അനുഗ്രഹം ലഭിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു കണ്ണുനീരോടുകൂടെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടും തള്ളപ്പെട്ടു മാനസാന്തരത്തിന്നു ഇട കണ്ടില്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 16 ऐसा न हो, कि कोई जन व्यभिचारी, या एसाव की नाई अधर्मी हो, जिस न एक बार के भोजन के बदले अपके पहिलौठे होने का पद बेच डाला। |
| 17 For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears. | 18 സ്ഥൂലമായതും തീ കത്തുന്നതുമായ പർവ്വതത്തിന്നും മേഘതമസ്സ്, കൂരിരുട്ടു, കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു, കാഹളനാദം, വാക്കുകളുടെ ശബ്ദം എന്നിവെക്കും അടുക്കൽ അല്ലല്ലോ നിങ്ങൾ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു. | 17 तुम जानते तो हो, कि बाद को जब उस ने आशीष पानी चाही, तो अयोग्य गिना गया, और आंसू बहा बहाकर खोजने पर भी मन फिराव का अवसर उसे न मिला।। |
| 18 For you have not come to what may be touched, a blazing fire and darkness and gloom and a tempest | 19 ആ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടവർ ഇനി ഒരു വചനവും തങ്ങളോടു പറയരുതേ എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു. | 18 तुम तो उस पहाड़ के पास जो छूआ जा सकता या और आग से प्रज्वलित या, और काली घटा, और अन्धेरा, और आन्धी के पास। |

| 20 For they could not endure the order that was given, "If even a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned." | 21 ഞാൻ അത്യന്തം പേടിച്ചു വിറെക്കുന്നു എന്നു മോശെയും പറയത്തക്കവണ്ണം ആ കാഴ്ച ഭയങ്കരമായിരുന്നു. | 20 क्योंकि वे उस आज्ञा को न सह सके, कि यदि कोई पशु भी पहाड़ को छूए, तो पत्यरवाह किया जाए। |

| 22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, | 23 ആദ്യജാതന്മാരുടെ സഭെക്കും എല്ലാവരുടെയും ദൈവമായ ന്യായാധിപതിക്കും സിദ്ധന്മാരായ നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ ആത്മാക്കൾക്കും | 22 पर तुम सिय्योन के पहाड़ के पास, और जीवते परमेश्वर के नगर स्वर्गीय यरूशलेम के पास। |

| 25 See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. | 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." | 27 “ഇനി ഒരിക്കൽ” എന്നതു, ഇളക്കമില്ലാത്തതു നിലനിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിർമ്മിതമായ ഇളക്കമുള്ളതിന്നു മാറ്റം വരും എന്നു സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. | 26 उस समय तो उसके शब्द ने पृय्वी को हिला दिया पर अब उस ने यह प्रतिज्ञा की है, कि एक बार फिर मैं केवल पृय्वी को नहीं, बरन आकाश को भी हिला दूंगा। |
| 27 This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of things that are shaken--that is, things that have been made--in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. | 28 ആകയാൽ ഇളകാത്ത രാജ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നാം നന്ദിയുള്ളവരായി ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദംവരുമാറു ഭക്തിയോടും ഭയത്തോടുകൂടെ സേവ ചെയ്ക. | 27 और यह वाक्य ?एक बार फिर इस बात को प्रगट करता है, कि जो वस्तुएं हिलाई जाती हैं, वे सृजी हुई वस्तुएं होने के कारण टल जाएंगी; ताकि जो वस्तुएं हिलाई नहीं जातीं, वे अटल बनी रहें। |
| 28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, | 29 നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിയല്ലോ. | 28 इस कारण हम इस राज्य को पाकर जो हिलने का नहीं, उस अनुग्रह को हाथ से न जाने दें, जिस के द्वारा हम भक्ति, और भय सहित, परमेश्वर की ऐसी आराधना कर सकते हैं जिस से वह प्रसन्न होता है। |
| 29 for our God is a consuming fire. | 29 क्योंकि हमारा परमेश्वर भस्म करनेवाली आग है।। |
