| 1 Then allotment was made to the people of Manasseh, for he was the firstborn of Joseph. | 2 And allotments were made to the rest of the people of Manasseh by their clans, Abiezer, Helek, Asriel, Shechem, Hepher, and Shemida. | 4 They approached Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun and the leaders and said, "The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance along with our brothers." | 6 because the daughters of Manasseh received an inheritance along with his sons. The land of Gilead was allotted to the rest of the people of Manasseh. | 6 മനശ്ശെയുടെ ശേഷം പുത്രന്മാർക്കു ഗിലെയാദ്‌‌ദേശം കിട്ടി. | 6 क्योंकि मनश्शेइयोंके बीच में मनश्शेई स्त्रियोंको भी भाग मिला। और दूसरे मनश्शेइयोंको गिलाद देश मिला। |
| 7 The territory of Manasseh reached from Asher to Michmethath, which is east of Shechem. Then the boundary goes along southward to the inhabitants of En-tappuah. | 7 മനശ്ശെയുടെ അതിരോ ആശേർമുതൽ ശേഖെമിന്നു കിഴക്കുള്ള മിഖ്മെഥാത്ത്‌വരെ ചെന്നു വലത്തോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു ഏൻ-തപ്പൂഹയിലെ നിവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കലോളം നീണ്ടുകിടക്കുന്നു. | 7 और मनश्शे का सिवाना आशेर से लेकर मिकमतात तक पहुंचा, जो शकेम के साम्हने है; फिर वह दक्खिन की ओर बढ़कर एनतप्पूह के निवासियोंतक पहुंचा। |
| 8 The land of Tappuah belonged to Manasseh, but the town of Tappuah on the boundary of Manasseh belonged to the people of Ephraim. | 8 തപ്പൂഹദേശം മനശ്ശെക്കുള്ളതായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും മനശ്ശെയുടെ അതിരിലുള്ള തപ്പൂഹപട്ടണം എഫ്രയീമ്യർക്കു ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു. | 8 तप्पूह की भूमि तो मनश्शे को मिली, परन्तु तप्पूह नगर जो मनश्शे के सिवाने पर बसा है वह एप्रैमियोंका ठहरा। |
| 9 Then the boundary went down to the brook Kanah. These cities, to the south of the brook, among the cities of Manasseh, belong to Ephraim. | 10 the land to the south being Ephraim's and that to the north being Manasseh's, with the sea forming its boundary. | 13 Now when the people of Israel grew strong, they put the Canaanites to forced labor, but did not utterly drive them out. | 13 എന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ബലവാന്മാരായി തീർന്നപ്പോൾ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയാതെ അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഊഴിയവേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു. | 13 तौभी जब इस्राएली सामर्यी हो गए, तब कनानियोंसे बेगारी तो कराने लगे, परन्तु उनको पूरी रीति से निकाल बाहर न किया।। |

| 16 The people of Joseph said, "The hill country is not enough for us. | 17 Then Joshua said to the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and Manasseh, "You are a numerous people and have great power. | 18 but the hill country shall be yours, for though it is a forest, you shall clear it and possess it to its farthest borders. For you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong." | 18 മലനാടു നിനക്കുള്ളതു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു കാടാകുന്നു എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ അതു വെട്ടിത്തെളിക്കേണം അതിന്റെ അറുതിപ്രദേശങ്ങളും നിങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളവ തന്നേ; കനാന്യർ ഇരിമ്പുരഥങ്ങൾ ഉള്ളവരും ബലവാന്മാരും ആകുന്നു എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയും. | 18 पहाड़ी देश भी तुम्हारा हो जाएगा; क्योंकि वह जंगल तो है, परन्तु उसके पेड़ काट डालो, तब उसके आस पास का देश भी तुम्हारा हो जाएगा; क्योंकि चाहे कनानी सामर्यी हों, और उनके पास लोहे के रय भी हों, तौभी तुम उन्हें वहां से निकाल सकोगे।। |
