| 2 And Absalom used to rise early and stand beside the way of the gate. And when any man had a dispute to come before the king for judgment, Absalom would call to him and say, "From what city are you?" | 4 Then Absalom would say, "Oh that I were judge in the land! Then every man with a dispute or cause might come to me, and I would give him justice." | 4 ഹാ, വഴക്കും വ്യവഹാരവും ഉള്ളവരൊക്കെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നിട്ടു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ന്യായം തീർപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം എന്നെ രാജ്യത്തു ന്യായാധിപനാക്കിയെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു എന്നും അബ്ശാലോം പറയും. | 4 फिर अबशालोम यह भी कहा करता या, कि भला होता कि मैं इस देश में न्यायी ठहराया जाता ! कि जितने मुकद्दमावाले होते वे सब मेरे ही पास आते, और मैं उनका न्याय चुकाता। |
| 5 And whenever a man came near to pay homage to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him. | 5 ആരെങ്കിലും അവനെ നമസ്കരിപ്പാൻ അടുത്തു ചെന്നാൽ അവൻ കൈ നീട്ടി അവനെ പിടിച്ചു ചുംബനം ചെയ്യും. | 5 फिर जब कोई उसे दणडवत् करने को निकट आता, तब वह हाथ बढ़ाकर उसको पकड़के चूम लेता या। |
| 6 Thus Absalom did to all of Israel who came to the king for judgment. | 7 And at the end of four years Absalom said to the king, "Please let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed to the LORD, in Hebron. | 7 നാലുസംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അബ്ശാലോം രാജാവിനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കു നേർന്ന ഒരു നേർച്ച ഹെബ്രോനിൽ ചെന്നു കഴിപ്പാൻ അനുവാദം തരേണമേ. | 7 चार वर्ष के बीतने पर अबशालोम ने राजा से कहा, मुझे हेब्रोन जाकर अपक्की उस मन्नत को पूरी करने दे, जो मैं ने यहोवा की मानी है। |
| 8 For your servant vowed a vow while I lived at Geshur in Aram, saying, 'If the LORD will indeed bring me back to Jerusalem, then I will offer worship to the LORD.'" | 8 യഹോവ എന്നെ യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തിയാൽ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു ആരാധന കഴിക്കും എന്നു അടിയൻ അരാമിലെ ഗെശൂരിൽ പാർത്ത കാലം ഒരു നേർച്ച നേർന്നിരുന്നു. | 8 तेरा दास तो जब आराम के गशूर में रहता या, तब यह कहकर यहोवा की मन्नत मानी, कि यदि यहोवा मुझे सचमुच यरूशलेम को लौटा ले जाए, तो मैं यहोवा की उपासना करूंगा। |

| 11 With Absalom went two hundred men from Jerusalem who were invited guests, and they went in their innocence and knew nothing. | 11 അബ്ശാലോമിനോടുകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു ക്ഷണിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരായി ഇരുനൂറു പേർ പോയിരുന്നു. അവർ ഒന്നും അറിയാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ പരമാർത്ഥതയിലായിരുന്നു പോയതു. | 11 और अबशालोम के संग दो सौ नेवतहारी यरूशलेम से गए; वे सीधे मन से उसका भेद बिना जाने गए। |
| 12 And while Absalom was offering the sacrifices, he sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city Giloh. | 14 Then David said to all his servants who were with him at Jerusalem, "Arise, and let us flee, or else there will be no escape for us from Absalom. | 15 And the king's servants said to the king, "Behold, your servants are ready to do whatever my lord the king decides." | 15 രാജഭൃത്യന്മാർ രാജാവിനോടു: യജമാനനായ രാജാവിന്റെ ഹിതമൊക്കെയും അടിയങ്ങൾക്കു സമ്മതം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 15 राजा के कर्मचारियोंने उस से कहा, जैसा हमारे प्रभु राजा को अच्छा जान पके, वैसा ही करने के लिथे तेरे दास तैयार हैं। |
| 16 So the king went out, and all his household after him. And the king left ten concubines to keep the house. | 16 അങ്ങനെ രാജാവു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവന്റെ ഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും അവനെ പിഞ്ചെന്നു; എന്നാൽ രാജധാനി സൂക്ഷിപ്പാൻ രാജാവു പത്തു വെപ്പാട്ടികളെ താമസിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. | 16 तब राजा निकल गया, और उसके पीछे उसका समस्त घराना निकला। और राजा दस रखेलियोंको भवन की चौकसी करने के लिथे छोड़ गया। |

| 19 Then the king said to Ittai the Gittite, "Why do you also go with us? Go back and stay with the king, for you are a foreigner and also an exile from your home. | 19 രാജാവു ഗിത്യനായ ഇത്ഥായിയോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നീയും ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വരുന്നതു എന്തിനു? നീ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു രാജാവിനോടുകൂടെ പാർക്ക; നീ പരദേശിയും സ്വദേശഭ്രഷ്ടനും അല്ലോ; നിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു തന്നേ പൊയ്ക്കൊൾക; | 19 तब राजा ने गती इत्तै से पूछा, हमारे संग तू क्योंचलता है? लौटकर राजा के पास रह; क्योंकि तू परदेशी और अपके देश से दूर है, इसलिथे अपके स्यान को लौट जा। |
| 20 You came only yesterday, and shall I today make you wander about with us, since I go I know not where? Go back and take your brothers with you, and may the LORD show steadfast love and faithfulness to you." | 20 നീ ഇന്നലെ വന്നതേയുള്ളു; ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ അലഞ്ഞുനടക്കുമാറാക്കുമോ? ഞാൻ തരം കാണുന്നേടത്തേക്കു പോകുന്നു; നീ നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും കൂട്ടി മടങ്ങിപ്പോക; ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ. | 20 तू तो कल ही आया है, क्या मैं आज तुझे अपके साय मारा मारा फिराऊं? मैं तो जहां जा समूंगा वहां जाऊंगा। तू लौट जा, और अपके भाइयोंको भी लौटा दे; ईश्चर की करुणा और यच्चाई तेरे संग रहे। |
| 21 But Ittai answered the king, "As the LORD lives, and as my lord the king lives, wherever my lord the king shall be, whether for death or for life, there also will your servant be." | 21 അതിന്നു ഇത്ഥായി രാജാവിനോടു: യഹോവയാണ, യജമാനനായ രാജാവാണ, യജമാനനായ രാജാവു എവിടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നുവോ അവിടെത്തന്നെ മരണമോ ജീവനോ എന്തു വന്നാലും അടിയനും ഇരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 21 इत्तै ने राजा को उत्तर देकर कहा, यहोवा के जीवन की शपय, और मेरे प्रभु राजा के जीवन की शपय, जिस किसी स्यान में मेरा प्रभु राजा रहेगा, चाहे मरने के लिथे हो चाहे जीवित रहने के लिथे, उसी स्यान में तेरा दास भी रहेगा। |
| 22 And David said to Ittai, "Go then, pass on." So Ittai the Gittite passed on with all his men and all the little ones who were with him. | 22 ദാവീദ് ഇത്ഥായിയോടു: നീ കൂടെ പോരിക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ ഗിത്യനായ ഇത്ഥായിയും അവന്റെ ആളുകളും അവനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള കുഞ്ഞുകുട്ടികളും എല്ലാം കടന്നുപോയി. | 22 तब दाऊद ने इत्तै से कहा, पार चल। सो गती इत्तै अपके समस्त जनोंऔर अपके साय के सब बाल-बच्चोंसमेत पार हो गया। |
| 23 And all the land wept aloud as all the people passed by, and the king crossed the brook Kidron, and all the people passed on toward the wilderness. | 23 ദേശത്തൊക്കെയും വലിയ കരച്ചലായി; ജനമെല്ലാം കടന്നുപായി; രാജാവും കിദ്രോൻ തോടു കടന്നു; ജനമൊക്കെയും മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിക്കുപോയി. | 23 सब रहनेवाले चिल्ला चिल्लाकर रोए; और सब लोग पार हुए, और राजा भी किद्रोन नाम नाले के पार हुआ, और सब लोग नाले के पार जंगल के मार्ग की ओर पार होकर चल पके। |
| 24 And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God. | 25 Then the king said to Zadok, "Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me back and let me see both it and his dwelling place. | 25 രാജാവു സാദോക്കിനോടു: നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുപോക; യഹോവെക്കു എന്നോടു കൃപ തോന്നിയാൽ അവൻ എന്നെ മടിക്കവരുത്തും; ഇതും തിരുനിവാസവും കാണ്മാൻ എനിക്കു ഇടയാകും. | 25 तब राजा ने सादोक से कहा, परमेश्वर के सन्दूक को नगर में लौटा ले जा। यदि यहोवा के अनुग्रह की दृष्टि मुझ पर हो, तो वह मुझे लौटाकर उसको और अपके वासस्यान को भी दिखाएगा; |

| 27 The king also said to Zadok the priest, "Are you not a seer? | 28 See, I will wait at the fords of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me." | 28 എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽനിന്നു സൂക്ഷ്മവർത്തമാനം കിട്ടുംവരെ ഞാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കുള്ള കടവിങ്കൽ താമസിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 28 सुनो, मैं जंगल के घाट के पास तब तक ठहरा रहूंगा, जब तक तुम लोगोंसे मुझे हाल का समाचार न मिले। |
| 29 So Zadok and Abiathar carried the ark of God back to Jerusalem, and they remained there. | 29 അങ്ങനെ സാദോക്കും അബ്യാഥാരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി, അവിടെ താമസിച്ചു. | 29 तब सादोक और एब्यातार ने परमेश्वर के सन्दूक को यरूशलेम में लौटा दिया; और आप वही रहे। |
| 30 But David went up the ascent of the Mount of Olives, weeping as he went, barefoot and with his head covered. | 31 And it was told David, "Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom." And David said, "O LORD, please turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness." | 31 അബ്ശാലോമിനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുകാരിൽ അഹീഥോഫെലും ഉണ്ടെന്നു ദാവീദിന്നു അറിവുകിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ: യഹോവേ, അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ ആലോചനയെ അബദ്ധമാക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 31 तब दाऊद को यह समाचार मिला, कि अबशालोम के संगी राजद्रोहियोंके साय अहीतोपेल है। दाऊद ने कहा, हे यहोवा, अहीतोपेल की सम्मति को मूर्खता बना दे। |
| 32 While David was coming to the summit, where God was worshiped, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat torn and dirt on his head. | 32 പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് മലമുകളിൽ ദൈവത്തെ ആരാധിച്ചുവന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അർഖ്യനായ ഹൂശായി അങ്കി കീറിയും തലയിൽ മണ്ണു വാരിയിട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു അവന്നെതിരെ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു. | 32 जब दाऊद चोटी तक पहुंचा, जहां परमेश्वर को दणडवत् किया करते थे, तब एरेकी हूशै अंगरखा फाड़े, सिर पर मिट्टी डाले हुए उस से मिलने को आया। |

So whatever you hear from the king's house, tell it to Zadok and Abiathar the priests. | 35 അവിടെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കും അബ്യാഥാരും ഉണ്ടു. അതുകൊണ്ടു രാജധാനിയിൽനിന്നു കേൾക്കുന്നവർത്തമാനമൊക്കെയും നീ പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കിനെയും അബ്യാഥാരിനെയും അറിയിക്കേണം. | 35 और क्या वहां तेरे संग सादोक और एब्यातार याजक न रहेंगे? इसलिथे राजभवन में से जो हाल तुझे सुन पके, उसे सादोक और एब्यातार याजकोंको बताया करना। |
| 36 Behold, their two sons are with them there, Ahimaaz, Zadok's son, and Jonathan, Abiathar's son, and by them you shall send to me everything you hear." | 36 അവിടെ അവരോടു കൂടെ അവരുടെ രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാർ, സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകൻ അഹീമാസും അബ്യാഥാരിന്റെ മകൻ യോനാഥാനും ഉണ്ടു; നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കുന്ന വർത്തമാനം ഒക്കെയും അവർ മുഖാന്തരം എന്നെ അറിയിപ്പിൻ. | 36 उनके साय तो उनके दो पुत्र, अर्यात् सादोक का पुत्र अहीमास, और एब्यातार का पुत्र योनातन, वहां रहेंगे; तो जो समाचार तुम लोगोंको मिले उसे मेरे पास उन्हीं के हाथ भेजा करना। |
| 37 So Hushai, David's friend, came into the city, just as Absalom was entering Jerusalem. | 37 അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദിന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനായ ഹൂശായി പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെന്നു. അബ്ശാലോമും യെരൂശലേമിൽ എത്തി. | 37 और दाऊद का मित्र, हूशै, नगर को गया, और अबशालोम भी यरूशलेम में पहुंच गया। |
