| 3 And they carried the ark of God on a new cart and brought it out of the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill. | 5 And David and all the house of Israel were making merry before the LORD, with songs and lyres and harps and tambourines and castanets and cymbals. | 5 ദാവീദും യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും സരളമരംകൊണ്ടുള്ള സകലവിധവാദിത്രങ്ങളോടും കിന്നരം, വീണ, തപ്പ്, മുരജം, കൈത്താളം എന്നിവയോടുംകൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നൃത്തം ചെയ്തു. | 5 और दाऊद और इस्राएल का समस्त घराना यहोवा के आगे सनौवर की लकड़ी के बने हुए सब प्रकार के बाजे और वीणा, सारंगियां, डफ, डमरू, फांफ बजाते रहे। |
| 6 And when they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled. | 6 അവർ നാഖോന്റെ കളത്തിങ്കൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ കാള വിരണ്ടതുകൊണ്ടു ഉസ്സാ കൈ നീട്ടി ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം പിടിച്ചു. | 6 जब वे नाकोन के खलिहान तक आए, तब उज्जा ने अपना हाथ परमेश्वर के सन्दूक की ओर बढ़ाकर उसे याम लिया, क्योंकि बैलोंने ठोकर खाई। |

| 8 And David was angry because the LORD had burst forth against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzzah, to this day. | 8 യഹോവ ഉസ്സയെ ഛേദിച്ച ഛേദംനിമിത്തം ദാവീദിന്നു വ്യസനമായി അവൻ ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു പേരെസ്-ഉസ്സാ എന്നു പേർ വിളിച്ചു. അതു ഇന്നുവരെയും പറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു. | 8 तब दाऊद अप्रसन्न हुआ, इसलिथे कि यहोवा उज्जा पर टूट पड़ा या; और उस ने उस स्यान का नाम पेरेसुज्जा रखा, यह नाम आज के दिन तक वर्तमान है। |

| 10 So David was not willing to take the ark of the LORD into the city of David. But David took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. | 10 ഇങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുത്തുവാൻ മനസ്സില്ലാതെ ദാവീദ് അതിനെ ഗിത്യനായ ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി വെച്ചു. | 10 इसलिथे दाऊद ने यहोवा के सन्दूक को अपके यहां दाऊदपुर में पहुंचाना न चाहा; परन्तु गतवासी ओबेदेदोम के यहां पहुंचाया। |
| 11 And the ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-edom and all his household. | 11 യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം ഗിത്യനായ ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ മൂന്നുമാസം ഇരുന്നു; യഹോവ ഓബേദ്-എദോമിനെയും അവന്റെ കുടുംബത്തെ ഒക്കെയും അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു. | 11 और यहोवा का सन्दूक गती ओबेदेदोम के घर में तीन महीने रहा; और यहोवा ने ओबेदेदोम और उसके समस्त घराने को आशिष दी। |
| 12 And it was told King David, "The LORD has blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God." So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom to the city of David with rejoicing. | 12 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം നിമിത്തം യഹോവ ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തെയും അവന്നുള്ള സകലത്തെയും അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു എന്നു ദാവീദ്‌രാജാവിന്നു അറിവു കിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്നു ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിലേക്കു സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. | 12 तब दाऊद राजा को यह बताया गया, कि यहोवा ने ओबेदेदोम के घराने पर, और जो कुछ उसका है, उस पर भी परमेश्वर के सन्दूक के कारण आशिष दी है। तब दाऊद ने जाकर परमेश्वर के सन्दूक को ओबेदेदोम के घर से दाऊदपुर में आनन्द के साय पहूंचा दिया। |
| 13 And when those who bore the ark of the LORD had gone six steps, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened animal. | 13 യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം ചുമന്നവർ ആറു ചുവടു നടന്നശേഷം അവൻ ഒരു കാളയെയും തടിപ്പിച്ച കിടാവിനെയും യാഗംകഴിച്ചു. | 13 जब यहोवा के सन्दूक के उठानेवाले छ: कदम चल चुके, तब दाऊद ने एक बैल और एक पाला पोसा हुआ बछड़ा बलि कराया। |
| 14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might. And David was wearing a linen ephod. | 14 ദാവീദ് പഞ്ഞിനൂലങ്കി ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പൂർണ്ണശക്തിയോടെ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നൃത്തം ചെയ്തു. | 14 और दाऊद सनी का एपोद कमर में कसे हुए यहोवा के सम्मुख तन मन से नाचता रहा। |
| 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the horn. | 15 അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദും യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും ആർപ്പോടും കാഹളനാദത്തോടുംകൂടെ യാഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. | 15 योंदाऊद और इस्राएल का समस्त घराना यहोवा के सन्दूक को जय जयकार करते और नरसिंगा फूंकते हुए ले चला। |
| 16 As the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD, and she despised him in her heart. | 16 എന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോൾ ശൌലിന്റെ മകളായ മീഖൾ കിളിവാതിലിൽകൂടി നോക്കി, ദാവീദ്‌രാജാവു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ കുതിച്ചു നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നതു കണ്ടു തന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ അവനെ നിന്ദിച്ചു. | 16 जब यहोवा का सन्दूक दाऊदपुर में आ रहा या, तब शाऊल की बेटी मीकल ने खिड़की में से फांककर दाऊद राजा को यहोवा के सम्मुख नाचते कूदते देखा, और उसे मन ही मन तुच्छ जाना। |
| 17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD and set it in its place, inside the tent that David had pitched for it. And David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. | 17 അവർ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ദാവീദ് അതിന്നായിട്ടു അടിച്ചിരുന്ന കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തുവെച്ചു; പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും അർപ്പിച്ചു. | 17 और लोग यहोवा का सन्दूक भीतर ले आए, और उसके स्यान में, अर्यात् उस तम्बू में रखा, जो दाऊद ने उसके लिथे खड़ा कराया या; और दाऊद ने यहोवा के सम्मुख होमबलि और मेलबलि चढ़ाए। |
| 18 And when David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts | 18 ദാവീദ്, ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും അർപ്പിച്ചു തീർന്നശേഷം അവൻ ജനത്തെ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു. | 18 जब दाऊद होमबलि और मेलबलि चढ़ा चुका, तब उस ने सेनाओं के यहोवा के नाम से प्रजा को आशीर्वाद दिया। |
| 19 and distributed among all the people, the whole multitude of Israel, both men and women, a cake of bread, a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins to each one. Then all the people departed, each to his house. | 19 പിന്നെ അവൻ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സർവ്വസംഘവുമായ സകലജനത്തിലും പുരുഷന്മാർക്കും സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും ആളൊന്നിന്നു ഒരു അപ്പവും ഒരു കഷണം മാംസവും ഒരു മുന്തിരിയടയും വീതം പങ്കിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു, ജനമൊക്കെയും താന്താന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോയി. | 19 तब उस ने समस्त प्रजा को, अर्यात्, क्या स्त्री क्या पुरुष, समस्त इस्राएली भीड़ के लोगोंको एक एक रोटी, और एक एक टुकड़ा मांस, और किशमिश की एक एक टिकिया बंटवा दी। तब प्रजा के सब लोग अपके अपके घर चले गए। |
| 20 And David returned to bless his household. | 21 And David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me above your father and above all his house, to appoint me as prince over Israel, the people of the LORD--and I will make merry before the LORD. | 21 ദാവീദ് മീഖളിനോടു: യഹോവയുടെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു പ്രഭുവായിനിയമിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ അപ്പനിലും അവന്റെ സകലഗൃഹത്തിലും ഉപരിയായി എന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ, അതേ, യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഞാൻ നൃത്തം ചെയ്യും. | 21 दाऊद ने मीकल से कहा, यहोवा, जिस ने तेरे पिता और उसके समस्त घराने की सन्ती मुझ को चुनकर अपक्की प्रजा इस्राएल का प्रधान होने को ठहरा दिया है, उसके सम्मुख मैं ने ऐसा खेला--और मैं यहोवा के सम्मुख इसी प्रकार खेला करूंगा। |
| 22 I will make myself yet more contemptible than this, and I will be abased in your eyes. But by the female servants of whom you have spoken, by them I shall be held in honor." | 22 ഞാൻ ഇനിയും ഇതിലധികം ഹീനനും എന്റെ കാഴ്ചെക്കു എളിയവനും ആയിരിക്കും; നീ പറഞ്ഞ ദാസികളാലോ എനിക്കു മഹത്വമുണ്ടാകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 22 और इस से भी मैं अधिक तुच्छ बनूंगा, और अपके लेखे नीच ठहरूंगा; और जिन लौंडियोंकी तू ने चर्चा की वे भी मेरा आदरमान करेंगी। |
