| 1 Now Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. | 4 But they were exceedingly afraid and said, "Behold, the two kings could not stand before him. | 15 And when he departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him. And he greeted him and said to him, "Is your heart true to my heart as mine is to yours?" And Jehonadab answered, "It is." Jehu said, "If it is, give me your hand." So he gave him his hand. | 16 And he said, "Come with me, and see my zeal for the LORD." | 18 Then Jehu assembled all the people and said to them, "Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu will serve him much. | 18 പിന്നെ യേഹൂ സകലജനത്തെയും കൂട്ടി അവരോടു: ആഹാബ് ബാലിനെ അല്പമേ സേവിച്ചുള്ളു; യേഹൂവോ അവനെ അധികം സേവിക്കും. | 18 तब थेहू ने सब लोगोंको इकट्ठा करके कहा, अहाब ने तो बाल की योड़ी ही उपासना की यी, अब थेहू उसकी अपासना बढ़के करेगा। |
| 19 Now therefore call to me all the prophets of Baal, all his worshipers and all his priests. Let none be missing, for I have a great sacrifice to offer to Baal. Whoever is missing shall not live." | 20 And Jehu ordered, "Sanctify a solemn assembly for Baal." So they proclaimed it. | 20 ബാലിന്നു ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ എന്നു യേഹൂ കല്പിച്ചു. അവർ അങ്ങനെ ഘേഷിച്ചു. | 20 तब थेहू ने कहा, बाल की एक पवित्र महासभा का प्रचार करो। और लोगोंने प्रचार किया। |
| 21 And Jehu sent throughout all Israel, and all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left who did not come. | 22 He said to him who was in charge of the wardrobe, "Bring out the vestments for all the worshipers of Baal." | 25 So as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guard and to the officers, "Go in and strike them down; let not a man escape." | 29 But Jehu did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he made Israel to sin--that is, the golden calves that were in Bethel and in Dan. | 29 എങ്കിലും ബേഥേലിലും ദാനിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പൊൻകാളക്കുട്ടികളെക്കൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിനെ പാപം ചെയ്യുമാറാക്കിയ നെബാത്തിന്റെ മകനായ യൊരോബെയാമിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെ യേഹൂ വിട്ടുമാറിയില്ല. | 29 ैतौभी नबात के पुत्र यारोबाम, जिस ने इस्राएल से पाप कराया या, उसके पापोंके अनुसार करने, अर्यात् बेतेल और दान में के सोने के बछड़ोंकी पूजा, उस से थेहू अलग न हुआ। |
| 30 And the LORD said to Jehu, "Because you have done well in carrying out what is right in my eyes, and have done to the house of Ahab according to all that was in my heart, your sons of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel." | 30 യഹോവ യേഹൂവിനോടു: എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതു നീ നല്ലവണ്ണം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടും എന്റെ ഹിതപ്രകാരം ഒക്കെയും ആഹാബുഗൃഹത്തോടു ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രാജാസനത്തിൽ നാലാം തലമുറവരെ ഇരിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. | 30 और यहोवा ने थेहू से कहा, इसलिथे कि नू ने वह किया, जो मेरी दृष्टि में ठीक है, और अहाब के घराने से मेरी इच्छा के अनुसार बर्ताव किया है, तेरे परपोते के पुत्र तक तेरी सन्तान इस्राएल की गद्दी पर बिराजती रहेगी। |
| 31 But Jehu was not careful to walk in the law of the LORD the God of Israel with all his heart. He did not turn from the sins of Jeroboam, which he made Israel to sin. | 31 എങ്കിലും യേഹൂ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം പൂർണ്ണമനസ്സോടെ നടക്കുന്നതിന്നു ജാഗ്രത കാണിച്ചില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിനെക്കൊണ്ടു പാപം ചെയ്യിച്ച യൊരോബെയാമിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെ അവൻ വിട്ടുമാറിയതുമില്ല. | 31 परन्तु थेहू ने इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा की य्यवस्या पर पूर्ण मन से चलने की चौकसी न की, वरन यारोबाम जिस ने इस्राएल से पाप कराया या, उसके पापोंके अनुसार करने से वह अलग न हुआ। |
| 32 In those days the LORD began to cut off parts of Israel. | 33 from the Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the Valley of the Arnon, that is, Gilead and Bashan. | 33 അവൻ യോർദ്ദാന്നു കിഴക്കു ഗാദ്യർ, രൂബേന്യർ, മനശ്ശേയർ എന്നിവരുടെ ദേശമായ ഗിലെയാദ് മുഴുവനും ജയിച്ചടക്കി അർന്നോൻ തോട്ടിന്നരികെയുള്ള അരോവേർ മുതൽ ഗിലെയാദും ബാശാനും തന്നേ. | 33 यरदन से पूरब की ओर गिलाद का सारा देश, और गादी और रूबेनी और मनश्शेई का देश अर्यात् अरोएर से लेकर जो अनॉन की तराई के पास है, गिलाद और बाशान तक। |
