| 1 And in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came with all his army against Jerusalem and laid siege to it. | 3 On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. | 3 നാലാം മാസം ഒമ്പതാം തിയ്യതി നഗരത്തിൽ ക്ഷാമം കലശലായി ദേശത്തെ ജനത്തിന്നു ആഹാരം ഇല്ലാതെപോയി. | 3 चौथे महीने के नौवें दिन से नगर में महंगी यहां तक बढ़ गई, कि देश के लोगोंके लिथे कुछ खाने को न रहा। |
| 4 Then a breach was made in the city, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, by the king's garden, though the Chaldeans were around the city. And they went in the direction of the Arabah. | 4 അപ്പോൾ നഗരമതിൽ ഒരിടം പൊളിച്ചു കൽദയർ നഗരം വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കെ പടയാളികൾ ഒക്കെയും രാത്രിസമയത്തു രാജാവിന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിന്നരികെ രണ്ടു മതിലുകൾക്കും മദ്ധ്യേയുള്ള പടിവാതിൽവഴിയായി ഓടിപ്പോയി; രാജാവും അരാബയിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയായി പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി. | 4 तब नगर की शहरपनाह में दरार की गई, और दोनोंभीतोंके बीच जो फाटक राजा की बारी के निकट या उस मार्ग से सब योद्धा रात ही रात निकल भागे। कसदी तो नगर को घेरे हुए थे, परन्तु राजा ने अराबा का मार्ग लिया। |
| 5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. | 5 എന്നാൽ കൽദയരുടെ സൈന്യം രാജാവിനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു യെരീഹോസമഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു അവനോടു എത്തി; അവന്റെ സൈന്യമൊക്കെയും അവനെ വിട്ടു ചിന്നിപ്പോയി. | 5 तब कसदियोंकी सेना ने राजा का पीछा किया, और उसको यरीहो के पास के अराबा में जा लिया, और उसकी पूरी सेना उसके पास से तितर बितर हो गई। |

| 10 And all the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down the walls around Jerusalem. | 10 അകമ്പടിനായകനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കൽദയസൈന്യമൊക്കെയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള മതിലുകളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു. | 10 और यरूशलेम के चारोंओर की सब शहरपनाह को कसदियो की पूरी सेना ने जो जल्लादोंके प्रधान के संग यी ढा दिया। |
| 11 And the rest of the people who were left in the city and the deserters who had deserted to the king of Babylon, together with the rest of the multitude, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried into exile. | 11 നഗരത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന ജനത്തെയും ബാബേൽരാജാവിനെ ശരണം പ്രാപിച്ചവരെയും പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവരെയും അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസരദാൻ കൊണ്ടുപോയി. | 11 और जो लोग नगर में रह गए थे, और जो लोग बाबेल के राजा के पास भाग गए थे, और साधारण लोग जो रह गए थे, इन सभें को जल्लादोंका प्रधान नबूजरदान बन्धुआ करके ले गया। |

| 13 And the pillars of bronze that were in the house of the LORD, and the stands and the bronze sea that were in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke in pieces and carried the bronze to Babylon. | 13 യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ താമ്രസ്തംഭങ്ങളും പീഠങ്ങളും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ താമ്രംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കടലും കൽദയർ ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു അവയുടെ താമ്രം ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. | 13 और यहोवा के भ्वन में जो पीतल के खम्भे थे और कुसिर्यां और पीतल का हौद जो यहोवा के भवन में या, इनको कसदी तोड़कर उनका पीतल बाबेल को ले गए। |
| 14 And they took away the pots and the shovels and the snuffers and the dishes for incense and all the vessels of bronze used in the temple service, | 14 കലങ്ങളും ചട്ടുകങ്ങളും കത്രികകളും തവികളും ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കുള്ള താമ്രോപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അവർ എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. | 14 और हण्डियों, फावडिय़ों, चिमटों, धूपदानोंऔर पीतल के सब पात्राोंको जिन से सेवा टहल होती यी, वे ले गए। |
| 15 the fire pans also and the bowls. What was of gold the captain of the guard took away as gold, and what was of silver, as silver. | 15 തീച്ചട്ടികളും കലശങ്ങളും പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയുംകൊണ്ടുള്ളതൊക്കെയും അകമ്പടിനായകൻ കൊണ്ടുപോയി. | 15 और करछे और कटोरियां जो सोने की यीं, और जो कुछ चान्दी का या, वह सब सोना, चान्दी, जल्लादोंका प्रधान ले गया। |
| 16 As for the two pillars, the one sea, and the stands that Solomon had made for the house of the LORD, the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight. | 16 ശലോമോൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ രണ്ടു സ്തംഭം, ഒരു കടൽ, പീഠങ്ങൾ എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള സകലഉപകരങ്ങളുടെയും താമ്രത്തിന്നു തൂക്കമില്ലാതെയിരുന്നു. | 16 दोनोंखम्भे, एक हौद और जो कुसिर्यां सुलैमान ने यहोवा के भवन के लिथे बनाए थे, इन सब वस्तुओं का पीतल तौल से बाहर या। |
| 17 The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and on it was a capital of bronze. The height of the capital was three cubits. A latticework and pomegranates, all of bronze, were all around the capital. | 19 and from the city he took an officer who had been in command of the men of war, and five men of the king's council who were found in the city, and the secretary of the commander of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found in the city. | 19 നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നു അവൻ യോദ്ധാക്കളുടെ മേൽവിചാരകനായ ഒരു ഷണ്ഡനെയും നഗരത്തിൽവെച്ചു കണ്ടെത്തിയ രാജപരിചാരകന്മാരിൽ അഞ്ചുപേരെയും ദേശത്തെ ജനത്തെ പടെക്കു സ്വരൂപിക്കുന്ന സേനാപതിയുടെ രായസക്കാരനെയും നഗരത്തിൽ കണ്ട ദേശത്തെ ജനത്തിൽ അറുപതുപേരെയും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. | 19 और नगर में से उस ने एक हाकिम को पकड़ा जो योद्वाओं के ऊपर या, और जो पुरुष राजा के सम्मुख रहा करते थे, उन में से पांच जन जो नगर में मिले, और सेनापति का मुन्शी जो लोगोंको सेना में भरती किया करता या; और लोगोंमें से साठ पुरुष जो नगर में मिले। |
| 20 And Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah. | 20 ഇവരെ അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസരദാൻ പിടിച്ചു രിബ്ളയിൽ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു. | 20 इनको जल्लादोंका प्रधान नबूजरदान पकड़कर रिबला के राजा के पास ले गया। |
| 21 And the king of Babylon struck them down and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was taken into exile out of its land. | 21 ബാബേൽരാജാവു ഹാമത്ത് ദേശത്തിലെ രിബ്ളയിൽവെച്ചു അവരെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ യെഹൂദാ സ്വദേശം വിട്ടുപോകേണ്ടിവന്നു. | 21 तब बाबेल के राजा ने उन्हें हमात देश के रिबला में ऐसा मारा कि वे मर गए। योंयहूदी बन्धुआ बनके अपके देश से तिकाल दिए गए। |
| 22 And over the people who remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, he appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, son of Shaphan, governor. | 22 ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദുനേസർ യെഹൂദാദേശത്തു ശേഷിപ്പിച്ചുവെച്ച ജനത്തിന്നു ശാഫാന്റെ മകനായ അഹീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഗെദല്യാവെ അധിപതിയാക്കി. | 22 और जो लोग यहूदा देश में रह गए, जिनको बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर ने छोड़ दिया, उन पर उस ने अहीकाम के पुत्र गदल्याह को जो शापान का पोता या अधिक्कारनेी ठहराया। |
| 23 Now when all the captains and their men heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah governor, they came with their men to Gedaliah at Mizpah, namely, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite. | 23 ബാബേൽരാജാവു ഗെദല്യാവെ അധിപതിയാക്കി എന്നു നെഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യിശ്മായേൽ, കാരേഹിന്റെ മകൻ യോഹാനാൻ, നെതോഫാത്യനായ തൻഹൂമെത്തിന്റെ മകൻ സെരായ്യാവു, മാഖാത്യന്റെ മകൻ യാസന്യാവു എന്നിങ്ങനെ സകലസേനാപതികളും അവരുടെ ആളുകളും കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവർ മിസ്പെയിൽ ഗെദല്യാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു. | 23 जब दलोंके सब प्रधानोंने अर्यात् नतन्याह के पुत्र इश्माएल कारेहू के पुत्र योहानान, नतोपाई, तन्हूमेत के पुत्र सरायाह और किसी माकाई के पुत्र याजन्याह ने और उनके जनोंने यह सुना, कि बाबेल के राजा ने गदल्याह को अधिक्कारनेी ठहराया है, तब वे अपके अपके जनोंसमेत मिस्पा में गदल्याह के पास आए। |
| 24 And Gedaliah swore to them and their men, saying, "Do not be afraid because of the Chaldean officials. Live in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you." | 24 ഗെദല്യാവു അവരോടും അവരുടെ ആളുകളോടും സത്യം ചെയ്തു അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ കൽദയരുടെ ദാസന്മാർനിമിത്തം ഭയപ്പെടരുതു; ദേശത്തു പാർത്തു ബാബേൽ രാജാവിനെ സേവിപ്പിൻ; അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു നന്മയായിരിക്കും. | 24 और गदल्याह ने उन से और उनके जनोंसे शपय खाकर कहा, कसदियोंके सिपाहियोंसे न डरो, देश में रहते हुए बाबेल के राजा के अधीन रहो, तब नुम्हारा भला होगा। |
| 25 But in the seventh month, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, son of Elishama, of the royal family, came with ten men and struck down Gedaliah and put him to death along with the Jews and the Chaldeans who were with him at Mizpah. | 25 എന്നാൽ ഏഴാം മാസത്തിൽ രാജവംശക്കാരനായ എലീശയുടെ മകനായ നെഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യിശ്മായേൽ പത്തു ആളുമായി വന്നു ഗെദല്യാവെയും അവനോടുകൂടെ മിസ്പെയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന യെഹൂദ്യരെയും കൽദയരെയും വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു. | 25 परन्तु सातवें महीने में नतन्याह का पुत्र इश्माएल, जो एलीशामा का पोता और राजवंश का या, उस ने दस जन संग ले गदल्याह के पास जाकर उसे ऐसा मारा कि वह मर गया, और जो यहूदी और कसदी उसके संग मिस्पा में रहते थे, उनको भी मार डाला। |
| 26 Then all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the forces arose and went to Egypt, for they were afraid of the Chaldeans. | 26 അപ്പോൾ ആബാലവൃദ്ധം ജനമൊക്കെയും സേനാപതിമാരും കൽദയരെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയാൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പുറപ്പെട്ടു മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു പോയി. | 26 तब क्या छोटे क्या बड़े सारी प्रजा के लोग और दलोंके प्रधान कसदियोंके डर के मारे उठकर मिस्र में जाकर रहने लगे। |
| 27 And in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, Evil-merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, graciously freed Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison. | 27 യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാഖീന്റെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്റെ മുപ്പത്തേഴാം ആണ്ടിൽ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം മാസം ഇരുപത്തേഴാം തിയ്യതി ബാബേൽ രാജാവായ എവീൽ-മെരോദക്ക് താൻ രാജാവായ ആണ്ടിൽ യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാഖീനെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചു കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു | 27 फिर यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीन की बन्धुआई के तैंतीसवें वर्ष में अर्यात् जिस वर्ष में बाबेल का राजा एवील्मरोदक राजगद्दी पर विराजमान हुआ, उसी के बारहवें महीने के सत्ताईसवें दिन को उस ने यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीन को बन्दीगृह से निकालकर बड़ा पद दिया। |
| 28 And he spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat above the seats of the kings who were with him in Babylon. | 28 അവനോടു ആദരവായി സംസാരിച്ചു അവന്റെ ആസനത്തെ തന്നോടുകൂടെ ബാബേലിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ ആസനങ്ങൾക്കു മേലായി വെച്ചു; | 28 और उस से मधुर मधुर वचन कहकर जो राजा उसके संग बाबेल में बन्धुए थे उनके सिंहासनोंसे उसके सिंहासन को अधिक ऊंचा किया, |
| 29 So Jehoiachin put off his prison garments. And every day of his life he dined regularly at the king's table, | 29 അവന്റെ കാരാഗൃഹവസ്ത്രം മാറ്റി; അവൻ ജീവപര്യന്തം നിത്യം അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചു പോന്നു. | 29 और उसके बन्दीगृह के वस्त्र बदल दिए और उस ने जीवन भर नित्य राजा के सम्मुख भोजन किया। |
| 30 and for his allowance, a regular allowance was given him by the king, according to his daily needs, as long as he lived. | 30 അവന്റെ അഹോവൃത്തിയോ, രാജാവു അവന്നു അവന്റെ മരണദിവസംവരെ അവന്റെ ജീവകാലമൊക്കെയും നിത്യവൃത്തിക്കു ദിവസംപ്രതിയുള്ള ഓഹരി കൊടുത്തുപോന്നു. | 30 और प्रतिदिन के खर्च के लिथे राजा के यहां से नित्य का झर्च ठहराया गया जो उसके जीवन भर लगातार उसे मिलता रहा। |
