| 2 After some years he went down to Ahab in Samaria. | 5 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, four hundred men, and said to them, "Shall we go to battle against Ramoth-gilead, or shall I refrain?" | 7 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, Micaiah the son of Imlah; but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil." | 9 Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting on their thrones, arrayed in their robes. | 12 And the messenger who went to summon Micaiah said to him, "Behold, the words of the prophets with one accord are favorable to the king. | 14 And when he had come to the king, the king said to him, "Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I refrain?" | 16 And he said, "I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. | 19 And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab the king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?' | 20 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD, saying, 'I will entice him.' | 22 Now therefore behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets. | 29 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your robes." | 31 As soon as the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, "It is the king of Israel." So they turned to fight against him. And Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; God drew them away from him. | 31 ആകയാൽ രഥനായകന്മാർ യെഹോശാഫാത്തിനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ; ഇവൻ തന്നേ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനോടു പൊരുതുവാൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു; എന്നാൽ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവ അവനെ സഹായിച്ചു; അവനെ വിട്ടുപോകുവാൻ ദൈവം അവർക്കു തോന്നിച്ചു. | 31 सो जब रयोंके प्रधानोंने यहोशापात को देखा, तब कहा इस्राएल का राजा वही है, और वे उसी से लड़ने को मुड़े। इस पर यहोशापात चिल्ला उठा, तब यहोवा ने उसकी सहाथता की। और परमेश्वर ने उनको उसके पास से फिर जाने की प्रेरणा की। |
| 32 For as soon as the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him. | 32 അവൻ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവല്ല എന്നു രഥനായകന്മാർ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവർ അവനെ പിന്തുടരാതെ മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി. | 32 सो यह देखकर कि वह इस्राएल का राजा नही है, रयोंके प्रधान उसका पीछा छोड़ के लौट गए। |
| 33 But a certain man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate. Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, "Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded." | 33 എന്നാൽ ഒരുത്തൻ യദൃച്ഛയാ വില്ലു കുലെച്ചു യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവിനെ കവചത്തിന്നും പതക്കത്തിന്നും ഇടെക്കു എയ്തു; അവൻ തന്റെ സാരഥിയോടു: നിന്റെ കൈ തിരിച്ചു എന്നെ പടയിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോക; ഞാൻ കഠിനമായി മുറിവേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 33 तब किसी ने अटकल से एक तीर चलाया, और वह इस्राएल के राजा के फिलम और निचले वस्त्र के बीच छेदकर लगा; तब उस ने अपके सारयी से कहा, मैं घायल हुआ, इसलिथे लगाम फेरके मुझे सेना में से बाहर ले चल। |
| 34 And the battle continued that day, and the king of Israel was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians until evening. Then at sunset he died. | 34 അന്നു പട കഠിനമായി തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേൽരാജാവു സന്ധ്യവരെ അരാമ്യർക്കെതിരെ രഥത്തിൽ നിവിർന്നുനിന്നു; സൂര്യൻ അസ്തമിക്കുന്ന സമയത്തു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയി. | 34 और उस दिन युद्ध बढ़ता गया और इस्राएल का राजा अपके रय में अरामियोंके सम्मुख सांफ तक खड़ा रहा, परन्तु सूर्य अस्त होते-होते वह मर गया। |
