| 2 And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib had come and intended to fight against Jerusalem, | 2 സൻഹേരീബ് വന്നു യെരൂശലേമിനെ ആക്രമിപ്പാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യെഹിസ്കീയാവു കണ്ടിട്ടു | 2 यह देखकर कि सन्हेरीब निकट आया है और यरूशलेम से लड़ने की मनसा करता है, |

| 5 He set to work resolutely and built up all the wall that was broken down and raised towers upon it, and outside it he built another wall, and he strengthened the Millo in the city of David. | 7 "Be strong and courageous. | 8 With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles." | 13 Do you not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of other lands? | 15 Now, therefore, do not let Hezekiah deceive you or mislead you in this fashion, and do not believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to deliver his people from my hand or from the hand of my fathers. | 16 And his servants said still more against the Lord GOD and against his servant Hezekiah. | 16 അവന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തിന്നും അവന്റെ ദാസനായ യെഹിസ്കീയാവിന്നും വിരോധമായി പിന്നെയും അധികം സംസാരിച്ചു. | 16 इस से भी अधिक उसके कर्मचारियोंने यहोवा परमेश्वर की, और उसके दास हिजकिय्याह की निन्दा की। |

| 18 And they shouted it with a loud voice in the language of Judah to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, to frighten and terrify them, in order that they might take the city. | 18 പട്ടണം പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ മതിലിന്മേൽ ഉള്ള ജനത്തെ പേടിപ്പിച്ചു ഭ്രമിപ്പിപ്പാൻ യെഹൂദ്യഭാഷയിൽ അവരോടു ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചു, | 18 और उन्होंने ऊंचे शब्द से उन यरूशलेमियोंको जो शहरपनाह पर बैठे थे, यहूदी बोली में पुकारा, कि उनको डराकर घबराहट में डाल दें जिस से नगर को ले लें। |

| 20 Then Hezekiah the king and Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, prayed because of this and cried to heaven. | 20 ഇതുനിമിത്തം യെഹിസ്കീയാരാജാവും ആമോസിന്റെ മകനായ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകനും പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്കു നിലവിളിച്ചു. | 20 तब इन घटनाओं के कारण राजा हिजकिय्याह और आमोस के पुत्र यशायाह नबी दोनोंने प्रार्यना की और स्वर्ग की ओर दोहाई दी। |
| 21 And the LORD sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty warriors and commanders and officers in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. | 22 So the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all his enemies, and he provided for them on every side. | 22 ഇങ്ങനെ യഹോവ യെഹിസ്കീയാവെയും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളെയും അശ്ശൂർരാജാവായ സൻഹേരീബിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും മറ്റെല്ലാവരുടെയും കയ്യിൽനിന്നും രക്ഷിച്ചു അവർക്കു ചുറ്റിലും വിശ്രമം നല്കി; | 22 योंयहोवा ने हिजकिय्याह और यरूशलेम के निवासिक्कों अश्शूर के राजा सन्हेरीब और अपके सब शत्रुओं के हाथ से बचाया, और चारोंओर उनकी अगुवाई की। |
| 23 And many brought gifts to the LORD to Jerusalem and precious things to Hezekiah king of Judah, so that he was exalted in the sight of all nations from that time onward. | 23 പലരും യെരൂശലേമിൽ യഹോവെക്കു കാഴ്ചകളും യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹിസ്കീയാവിന്നു വിശേഷവസ്തുക്കളും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവൻ അന്നുമുതൽ സകലജാതികളുടെയും ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഉന്നതനായിത്തീർന്നു. | 23 और बहुत लोग यरूशलेम को यहोवा के लिथे भेंट और यहूदा के राजा हिजकिय्याह के लिथे अनमोल वस्तुएं ले आने लगे, और उस समय से वह सब जातियोंकी दृष्टि में महान ठहरा। |
| 24 In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death, and he prayed to the LORD, and he answered him and gave him a sign. | 24 ആ കാലത്തു യെഹിസ്കീയാവിന്നു മരണകരമായ ദീനംപിടിച്ചു; അവൻ യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു; അതിന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം അരുളി ഒരു അടയാളവും കൊടുത്തു. | 24 उन दिनोंहिजकिय्याह ऐसा रोगी हुआ, कि वह मरा चाहता या, तब उस ने यहोवा से प्रार्यना की; और उस ने उस से बातें करके उसके लिथे एक चमत्कार दिखाया। |
| 25 But Hezekiah did not make return according to the benefit done to him, for his heart was proud. Therefore wrath came upon him and Judah and Jerusalem. | 25 എന്നാൽ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു തനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച ഉപകാരത്തിന്നു അടുത്തവണ്ണം നടക്കാതെ നിഗളിച്ചുപോയി; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെമേലും യെഹൂദയുടെ മേലും യെരൂശലേമിന്മേലും കോപം ഉണ്ടായി. | 25 परन्तु हिजकिय्याह ने उस उपकार का बदला न दिया, क्योंकि उसका मन फूल उठा या। इस कारण उसका कोप उस पर और यहूदा और यरूशलेम पर भड़का। |
| 26 But Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah. | 26 എങ്കിലും തന്റെ ഗർവ്വത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു യെഹിസ്കീയാവും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ താഴ്ത്തി; അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ കോപം യെഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു അവരുടെമേൽ വന്നില്ല. | 26 तब हिजकिय्याह यरूशलेम के निवासियोंसमेत अपके मन के फूलने के कारण दीन हो गया, इसलिथे यहोवा का क्रोध उन पर हिजकिय्याह के दिनोंमें न भड़का। |
| 27 And Hezekiah had very great riches and honor, and he made for himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of costly vessels; | 27 യെഹിസ്കീയാവിന്നു അനവധി ധനവും മാനവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ വെള്ളി, പൊന്നു, രത്നം, സുഗന്ധ വർഗ്ഗം, പരിച സകലവിധമനോഹരവസ്തുക്കൾ എന്നിവെക്കായി ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളും | 27 और हिजकिय्याह को बहुत ही धन और विभव मिला; और उस ने चान्दी, सोने, मणियों, सुगन्धद्रव्य, ढालोंऔर सब प्रकार के मनभावने पात्रोंके लिथे भणडार बनवाए। |
| 28 storehouses also for the yield of grain, wine, and oil; and stalls for all kinds of cattle, and sheepfolds. | 28 ധാന്യം, വീഞ്ഞ്, എണ്ണ എന്ന അനുഭവങ്ങൾക്കായി പാണ്ടികശാലകളും സകലവിധ മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും പുരകളും ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങൾക്കു തൊഴുത്തുകളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി. | 28 फिर उस ने अन्न, नया दाखमधु, और टटका लेल के लिथे भणडार, और सब भांति के पशुओं के लिथे यान, और भेड़-बकरियोंके लिथे भेड़शालाएं बनवाई। |

| 33 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the upper part of the tombs of the sons of David, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honor at his death.
