| 3 For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had broken down, and he erected altars to the Baals, and made Asherahs, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. | 3 അവൻ തന്റെ അപ്പനായ യെഹിസ്കീയാവു ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരുന്ന പൂജാഗിരികളെ വീണ്ടും പണിതു, ബാൽവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു ബലിപീഠങ്ങളെ തീർത്തു, അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി, ആകാശത്തിലെ സർവ്വസൈന്യത്തെയും നമസ്കരിച്ചു സേവിച്ചു. | 3 उस ने उन ऊंचे स्यानोंको जिन्हें उसके पिता हिजकिय्याह ने तोड़ दिया या, फिर बनाया, और बाल नाम देवताओं के लिथे वेदियां ओर अशेरा नाम मूरतें बनाई, और आकाश के सारे गण को दणडवत करता, और उनकी उपासना करता रहा। |
| 4 And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, "In Jerusalem shall my name be forever." | 4 യെരൂശലേമിൽ എന്റെ നാമം ഇരിക്കുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലും അവൻ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ പണിതു; | 4 और उस ने यहोवा के उस भवन मे वेदियां बनाई जिसके विषय यहोवा ने कहा या कि यरूशलेम में मेरा नाम सदा बना रहेगा। |
| 5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD. | 5 യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരം രണ്ടിലും അവൻ ആകാശത്തിലെ സൈന്യത്തിന്നു ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ പണിതു. | 5 वरन यहोवा के भवन के दोनोंआंगनोंमें भी उस ने आकाश के सारे गण के लिथे वेदियां बनाई। |
| 6 And he burned his sons as an offering in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, and used fortune-telling and omens and sorcery, and dealt with mediums and with wizards. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking him to anger. | 6 അവൻ തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ ബെൻ-ഹിന്നോം താഴ്വരയിൽ അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചു; മുഹുർത്തം നോക്കി, ആഭിചാരങ്ങളും ക്ഷുദ്രങ്ങളും പ്രയോഗിച്ചു, വെളിച്ചപ്പാടന്മാരെയും ലക്ഷണം പറയുന്നവരെയും നിയമിച്ചു, യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു പലതും ചെയ്തു അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു. | 6 फिर उस ने हिन्नोम के बेटे की तराई में अपके लड़केबालोंको होम करके चढ़ाया, और शुभ-अशुभ मुहूतॉं को मानता, और टोना और तंत्र-मंत्र करता, और ओफोंऔर भूतसिद्धिवालोंसे व्यवहार करता या। वरन उस ने ऐसे बहुत से काम किए, जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरे हैं और जिन से वह अप्रसन्न होता है। |

| 8 and I will no more remove the foot of Israel from the land that I appointed for your fathers, if only they will be careful to do all that I have commanded them, all the law, the statutes, and the rules given through Moses." | 8 ഞാൻ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം യിസ്രായേലിനോടു കല്പിച്ച സകലന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെയും ചട്ടങ്ങളെയും ന്യായങ്ങളെയും അനുസരിച്ചുനടപ്പാൻ അവർ സൂക്ഷിക്കുമെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച ദേശത്തുനിന്നു അവരുടെ കാൽ ഞാൻ ഇനി നീക്കിക്കളകയില്ല എന്നും ദൈവം ദാവീദിനോടും അവന്റെ മകനായ ശലോമോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. | 8 और मैं ऐसा न करूंगा कि जो देश मैं ने तुम्हारे पुरखाओं को दिया या, उस में से इस्राएल फिर मारा मारा फिरे; इतना अवश्य हो कि वे मेरी सब आज्ञाओं को अर्यात् मूसा की दी हुई सारी व्यवस्या और विधियोंऔर नियमोंको पालन करने की चौकसी करें। |
| 9 Manasseh led Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem astray, to do more evil than the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the people of Israel. | 9 അങ്ങനെ മനശ്ശെ യഹോവ യിസ്രായേൽ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ച ജാതികൾ ചെയ്തതിലും അധികം വഷളത്വം പ്രവർത്തിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം യെഹൂദയെയും യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികളെയും തെറ്റുമാറാക്കി. | 9 और मनश्शे ने यहूदा और यरूशलेम के निवासिक्कों यहां तक भटका दिया कि उन्होंने उन जातियोंसे भी बढ़कर बुराई की, जिन्हें यहोवा ने इस्राएलियोंके साम्हने से विनाश किया या। |
| 10 The LORD spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention. | 10 യഹോവ മനശ്ശെയോടും അവന്റെ ജനത്തോടും സംസാരിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും അവർ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല. | 10 और यहोवा ने मनश्शे और उसकी प्रजा से बातें कीं, परन्तु उन्होंने कुछ ध्यान नहीं दिया। |
| 11 Therefore the LORD brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh with hooks and bound him with chains of bronze and brought him to Babylon. | 11 ആകയാൽ യഹോവ അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിന്റെ സേനാധിപതിമാരെ അവരുടെ നേരെ വരുത്തി; അവർ മനശ്ശെയെ കൊളുത്തുകളാൽ പിടിച്ചു ചങ്ങലയിട്ടു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി. | 11 तब यहोवा ने उन पर अश्शूर के सेनापतियोंसे चढ़ाई कराई, और थे मनश्शे को नकेल डालकर, और पीतल की बेडिय़ां जकड़कर, उसे बाबेल को ले गए। |
| 12 And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. | 12 കഷ്ടത്തിൽ ആയപ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു. തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ ഏറ്റവും താഴ്ത്തി അവനോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു. | 12 तब संकट में पड़कर वह अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा को मानने लगा, और अपके पूर्वजोंके परमेश्वर के साम्हने बहुत दीन हुआ, और उस से प्रार्यना की। |
| 13 He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God. | 13 അവൻ അവന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കൈക്കൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ യാചന കേട്ടു അവനെ വീണ്ടും യെരൂശലേമിൽ അവന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന്നു തിരിച്ചു വരുത്തി; യഹോവതന്നേ ദൈവം എന്നു മനശ്ശെക്കു ബോധമായി. | 13 तब उस ने प्रसन्न होकर उसकी बिनती सुनी, और उसको यरूशलेम में पहुंचाकर उसका राज्य लौटा दिया। तब मनश्शे को निश्चय हो गया कि यहोवा ही परमेश्वर है। |
| 14 Afterward he built an outer wall for the city of David west of Gihon, in the valley, and for the entrance into the Fish Gate, and carried it around Ophel, and raised it to a very great height. He also put commanders of the army in all the fortified cities in Judah. | 14 അതിന്റെശേഷം അവൻ ഗീഹോന്നു പടിഞ്ഞാറു താഴ്വരയിൽ മീൻവാതിലിന്റെ പ്രവേശനംവരെ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിന്നു ഒരു പുറമതിൽ പണിതു; അവൻ അതു ഓഫേലിന്നു ചുറ്റും വളരെ പൊക്കത്തിൽ പണിയുകയും യെഹൂദയിലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ സേനാധിപന്മാരെ പാർപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. | 14 इसके बाद उस ने दाऊदमुर से बाहर गीहोन के पश्चिम की ओर नाले में मच्छली फाटक तक एक शहरपनाह बनवाई, फिर ओपेल को घेरकर बहुत ऊंचा कर दिया; और यहूदा के सब गढ़वाले नगरोंमें सेनापति ठहरा दिए। |
| 15 And he took away the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built on the mountain of the house of the LORD and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside of the city. | 15 അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്നു അന്യദൈവങ്ങളെയും വിഗ്രഹത്തെയും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയം നില്ക്കുന്ന പർവ്വതത്തിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും താൻ പണിതിരുന്ന സകലബലിപീഠങ്ങളെയും നീക്കി നഗരത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞു. | 15 फिर उस ने पराथे देवताओं को और यहोवा के भवन में की मूत्तिर् को, और जितनी वेदियां उस ने यहोवा के भवन के पर्वत पर, और यरूशलेम में बनवाई यीं, उन सब को दूर करके नगर से बाहर फेंकवा दिया। |
| 16 He also restored the altar of the LORD and offered on it sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving, and he commanded Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel. | 16 അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠം നന്നാക്കി, അതിന്മേൽ സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങളും അർപ്പിച്ചു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ സേവിപ്പാൻ യെഹൂദയോടു കല്പിച്ചു. | 16 तब उस ने यहोवा की वेदी की मरम्मत की, और उस पर मेलबलि और धन्यवादबलि चढ़ाने लगा, और यहूदियोंको इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा की उपासना करते की आज्ञा दी। |
| 17 Nevertheless, the people still sacrificed at the high places, but only to the LORD their God. | 17 എന്നാൽ ജനം പൂജാഗിരികളിൽ യാഗം കഴിച്ചുപോന്നു; എങ്കിലും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു അത്രേ. | 17 तौभी प्रजा के लोग ऊंचे स्यानोंपर बलिदान करते रहे, परन्तु केवल अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा के लिथे। |
| 18 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, behold, they are in the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel. | 18 മനശ്ശെയുടെ മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും അവൻ തന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു കഴിച്ച പ്രാർത്ഥനയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അവനോടു സംസാരിച്ച ദർശകന്മാരുടെ വചനങ്ങളും യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു. | 18 मनश्शे के ओर काम, और उस ने जो प्रार्यना अपके परमेश्वर से की, और उन दशिर्योंके वचन जो इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा के नाम से उस से बातें करते थे, यह सब इस्राएल के राजाओं के इतिहास में लिखा हुआ है। |

| 21 Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. | 21 ആമോൻ വാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തിരണ്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു. | 21 जब आमोन राज्य करने लगा, तब वह बाईस वर्ष का या, और यरूशलेम में दो वर्ष तक राज्य करता रहा। |
| 22 And he did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, as Manasseh his father had done. Amon sacrificed to all the images that Manasseh his father had made, and served them. | 22 അവൻ തന്റെ അപ്പനായ മനശ്ശെ ചെയ്തതു പോലെ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു, തന്റെ അപ്പനായ മനശ്ശെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ സകല വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും ആമോൻ ബലികഴിച്ചു അവയെ സേവിച്ചു. | 22 और उस ने अपके पिता मनश्शे की नाई वह किया जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा है। और जितनी मूत्तिर्यां उसके पिता मनश्शे ने खोदकर बनवाई यीं, वह भी उन सभोंके साम्हने बलिदान करता और उन सभोंकी उपासना भी करता या। |
| 23 And he did not humble himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself, but this Amon incurred guilt more and more. | 23 തന്റെ അപ്പനായ മനശ്ശെ തന്നെത്താൻ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ താഴ്ത്തിയതുപോലെ അവൻ തന്നെത്താൻ താഴ്ത്തിയില്ല; ആമോൻ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ അകൃത്യം ചെയ്തതേയുള്ളു. | 23 और जैसे उसका पिता मनश्शे यहोवा के साम्हने दीन हुआ, वैसे वह दीन न हुआ, वरन आमोन अधिक दोषी होता गया। |
| 24 And his servants conspired against him and put him to death in his house. | 24 അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാർ അവന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുണ്ടാക്കി അവനെ അവന്റെ നേരെ അരമനയിൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു. | 24 और उसके कर्मचारियोंने द्रोह की गोष्ठी करके, उसको उसी के भवन में मार डाला। |
| 25 But the people of the land struck down all those who had conspired against King Amon. And the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place. | 25 എന്നാൽ ദേശത്തെ ജനം ആമോൻ രാജാവിന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയവരെയൊക്കെയും കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു; ദേശത്തെ ജനം അവന്റെ മകനായ യോശീയാവെ അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവാക്കി. | 25 तब साधारण लोगोंने उन सभोंको मार डाला, जिन्होंने राजा आमोन से द्रोह की गोष्ठी की यी; और लोगोंने उसके पुत्र योशिय्याह को उसके स्यान पर राजा बनाया। |
