| 4 If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out alone. | 4 അവന്റെ യജമാനൻ അവന്നു ഭാര്യയെ കൊടുക്കയും അവൾ അവന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയോ പുത്രിമാരെയോ പ്രസവിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഭാര്യയും മക്കളും യജമാനന്നു ഇരിക്കേണം; അവൻ ഏകനായി പോകേണം. | 4 यदि उसके स्वामी ने उसको पत्नी दी हो और उस से उसके बेटे वा बेटियां उत्पन्न हुई हों, तो उसकी पत्नी और बालक उसके स्वामी के ही रहें, और वह अकेला चला जाए। |

| 6 then his master shall bring him to God, and he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost. | 7 "When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she shall not go out as the male slaves do. | 7 ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ പുത്രിയെ ദാസിയായി വിറ്റാൽ അവൾ ദാസന്മാർ പോകുന്നതുപോലെ പോകരുതു. | 7 यदि कोई अपक्की बेटी को दासी होने के लिथे बेच डाले, तो वह दासी की नाई बाहर न जाए। |
| 8 If she does not please her master, who has designated her for himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He shall have no right to sell her to a foreign people, since he has broken faith with her. | 8 അവളെ തനിക്കു സംബന്ധത്തിന്നു നിയമിച്ച യജമാനന്നു അവളെ ബോധിക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ അവളെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പാൻ അവൻ അനുവദിക്കേണം; അവളെ ചതിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അന്യജാതിക്കു വിറ്റുകളവാൻ അവന്നു അധികാരമില്ല. | 8 यदि उसका स्वामी उसको अपक्की पत्नी बनाए, और फिर उस से प्रसन्न न रहे, तो वह उसे दाम से छुड़ाई जाने दे; उसका विश्वासघात करने के बाद उसे ऊपक्की लोगोंके हाथ बेचने का उसको अधिक्कारने न होगा। |
| 9 If he designates her for his son, he shall deal with her as with a daughter. | 9 അവൻ അവളെ തന്റെ പുത്രന്നു നിയമിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ പുത്രിമാരുടെ ന്യായത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവളോടു പെരുമാറേണം. | 9 और यदि उस ने उसे अपके बेटे को ब्याह दिया हो, तो उस से बेटी का सा व्यवहार करे। |
| 10 If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, or her marital rights. | 10 അവൻ മറ്റൊരുത്തിയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചാൽ ഇവളുടെ ഉപജീവനവും ഉടുപ്പും വിവാഹമുറയും കുറെക്കരുതു. | 10 चाहे वह दूसरी पत्नी कर ले, तौभी वह उसका भोजन, वस्त्र, और संगति न घटाए। |
| 11 And if he does not do these three things for her, she shall go out for nothing, without payment of money. | 11 ഈ മൂന്നു കാര്യവും അവൻ അവൾക്കു ചെയ്യാതിരുന്നാൽ അവളെ പണം വാങ്ങാതെ വെറുതെ വിട്ടയക്കേണം. | 11 और यदि वह इन तीन बातोंमें घटी करे, तो वह स्त्री सेंतमेंत बिना दाम चुकाए ही चक्की जाए।। |
| 12 "Whoever strikes a man so that he dies shall be put to death. | 12 ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ അടിച്ചുകൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 12 जो किसी मनुष्य को ऐसा मारे कि वह मर जाए, तो वह भी निश्चय मार डाला जाए। |
| 13 But if he did not lie in wait for him, but God let him fall into his hand, then I will appoint for you a place to which he may flee. | 13 അവൻ കരുതിക്കൂട്ടാതെ അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ കയ്യാൽ സംഭവിപ്പാൻ ദൈവം സംഗതിവരുത്തിയതായാൽ അവൻ ഓടിപ്പോകേണ്ടുന്ന സ്ഥലം ഞാൻ നിയമിക്കും. | 13 यदि वह उसकी घात में न बैठा हो, और परमेश्वर की इच्छा ही से वह उसके हाथ में पड़ गया हो, तो ऐसे मारनेवाले के भागने के निमित्त मैं एक स्यान ठहराऊंगा जहां वह भाग जाए। |
| 14 But if a man willfully attacks another to kill him by cunning, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die. | 14 എന്നാൽ ഒരുത്തൽ കരുതിക്കൂട്ടി കൂട്ടുകാരനെ ചതിച്ചു കൊന്നതെങ്കിൽ അവൻ മരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവനെ എന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം. | 14 परन्तु यदि कोई ढिठाई से किसी पर चढ़ाई करके उसे छल से घात करे, तो उसको मार ढालने के लिथे मेरी वेदी के पास से भी अलग ले जाना।। |
| 15 "Whoever strikes his father or his mother shall be put to death. | 15 തന്റെ അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ അടിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 15 जो अपके पिता वा माता को मारे-पीटे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए।। |
| 16 "Whoever steals a man and sells him, and anyone found in possession of him, shall be put to death. | 16 ഒരുത്തൻ ഒരാളെ മോഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടു അവനെ വിൽക്കയാകട്ടെ അവന്റെ കൈവശം അവനെ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 16 जो किसी मनुष्य को चुराए, चाहे उसे ले जाकर बेच डाले, चाहे वह उसके पास पाया जाए, तो वह भी निश्चय मार डाला जाए।। |
| 17 "Whoever curses his father or his mother shall be put to death. | 17 തന്റെ അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ ശപിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 17 जो अपके पिता वा माता को श्रप दे वह भी निश्चय मार डाला जाए।। |
| 18 "When men quarrel and one strikes the other with a stone or with his fist and the man does not die but takes to his bed, | 18 മനുഷ്യർ തമ്മിൽ ശണ്ഠകൂടീട്ടു ഒരുത്തൻ മറ്റവനെ കല്ലുകൊണ്ടോ മുഷ്ടികൊണ്ടോ കുത്തിയതിനാൽ അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോകാതെ കിടപ്പിലാകയും | 18 यदि मनुष्य फगड़ते हों, और एक दूसरे को पत्यर वा मुक्के से ऐसा मारे कि वह मरे नहीं परन्तु बिछौने पर पड़ा रहे, |
| 19 then if the man rises again and walks outdoors with his staff, he who struck him shall be clear; only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall have him thoroughly healed. | 19 പിന്നെയും എഴുന്നേറ്റു വടി ഊന്നി വെളിയിൽ നടക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ കുത്തിയവനെ ശിക്ഷിക്കരുതു; എങ്കിലും അവൻ അവന്റെ മിനക്കേടിന്നുവേണ്ടി കൊടുത്തു അവനെ നല്ലവണ്ണം ചികിത്സിപ്പിക്കേണം. | 19 तो जब वह उठकर लाठी के सहारे से बाहर चलने फिरने लगे, तब वह मारनेवाला निर्दोष ठहरे; उस दशा में वह उसके पके रहने के समय की हानि तो भर दे, ओर उसको भला चंगा भी करा दे।। |
| 20 "When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged. | 20 ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ ദാസനെയോ ദാസിയെയോ തൽക്ഷണം മരിച്ചുപോകത്തക്കവണ്ണം വടികൊണ്ടു അടിച്ചാൽ അവനെ നിശ്ചയമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കേണം. | 20 यदि कोई अपके दास वा दासी को सोंटे से ऐसा मारे कि वह उसके मारने से मर जाए, तब तो उसको निश्चय दण्ड दिया जाए। |
| 21 But if the slave survives a day or two, he is not to be avenged, for the slave is his money. | 21 എങ്കിലും അവൻ ഒന്നു രണ്ടു ദിവസം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നാൽ അവനെ ശിക്ഷിക്കരുതു; അവൻ അവന്റെ മുതലല്ലോ. | 21 परन्तु यदि वह दो एक दिन जीवित रहे, तो उसके स्वामी को दण्ड न दिया जाए; क्योंकि वह दास उसका धन है।। |
| 22 "When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman's husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. | 22 മനുഷ്യർ തമ്മിൽ ശണ്ഠകൂടീട്ടു ഗർഭിണിയായ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ അടിച്ചതിനാൽ ഗർഭം അലസിയതല്ലാതെ അവൾക്കു മറ്റൊരു ദോഷവും വന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അടിച്ചവൻ ആ സ്ത്രീയുടെ ഭർത്താവു ചുമത്തുന്ന പിഴ കൊടുക്കേണം; ന്യായാധിപന്മാർ വിധിക്കുമ്പോലെ അവൻ കൊടുക്കേണം. | 22 यदि मनुष्य आपस में मारपीट करके किसी गभिर्णी स्त्री को ऐसी चोट पहुचाए, कि उसका गर्भ गिर जाए, परन्तु और कुछ हानि न हो, तो मारनेवाले से उतना दण्ड लिया जाए जितना उस स्त्री का पति पंच की सम्मति से ठहराए। |
| 23 But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life, | 23 മറ്റു ദോഷം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ജീവന്നു പകരം ജീവൻ കൊടുക്കേണം. | 23 परन्तु यदि उसको और कुछ हानि पहुंचे, तो प्राण की सन्ती प्राण का, |
| 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, | 24 കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം കണ്ണു; പല്ലിന്നു പകരം പല്ലു; കൈക്കു പകരം കൈ; കാലിന്നു പകരം കാൽ; | 24 और आंख की सन्ती आंख का, और दांत की सन्ती दांत का, और हाथ की सन्ती हाथ का, और पांव की सन्ती पांव का, |

| 27 If he knocks out the tooth of his slave, male or female, he shall let the slave go free because of his tooth. | 27 അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസന്റെയോ ദാസിയുടെയോ പല്ലു അടിച്ചു തകർത്താൽ അവൻ പല്ലിന്നു പകരം അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനായി വിട്ടയക്കേണം. | 27 और यदि वह अपके दास वा दासी को मारके उसका दांत तोड़ डाले, तो वह उसके दांत की सन्ती उसे स्वतंत्र करके जाने दे।। |
| 28 "When an ox gores a man or a woman to death, the ox shall be stoned, and its flesh shall not be eaten, but the owner of the ox shall not be liable. | 28 ഒരു കാള ഒരു പുരുഷനെയോ സ്ത്രീയെയോ കുത്തിക്കൊന്നാൽ ആ കാളയെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം; അതിന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നരുതു; കാളയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥനോ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവൻ. | 28 यदि बैल किसी पुरूष वा स्त्री को ऐसा सींग मारे कि वह मर जाए, तो वह बैल तो निश्चय पत्यरवाह करके मार डाला जाए, और उसका मांस खाया न जाए; परन्तु बैल का स्वामी निर्दोष ठहरे। |
| 29 But if the ox has been accustomed to gore in the past, and its owner has been warned but has not kept it in, and it kills a man or a woman, the ox shall be stoned, and its owner also shall be put to death. | 29 എന്നാൽ ആ കാള മുമ്പെ തന്നേ കുത്തുന്നതായും ഉടമസ്ഥൻ അതു അറിഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കെ അവൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അതു ഒരു പുരുഷനെയോ സ്ത്രീയെയോ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആ കാളയെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം; അതിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥനും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 29 परन्तु यदि उस बैल की पहिले से सींग मारने की बान पक्की हो, और उसके स्वामी ने जताए जाने पर भी उसको न बान्ध रखा हो, और वह किसी पुरूष वा स्त्री को मार डाले, तब तो वह बैल पत्यरवाह किया जाए, और उसका स्वामी भी मार डाला जाए। |
| 30 If a ransom is imposed on him, then he shall give for the redemption of his life whatever is imposed on him. | 30 ഉദ്ധാരണ ദ്രവ്യം അവന്റെ മേൽ ചുമത്തിയാൽ തന്റെ ജീവന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിന്നായി തന്റെ മേൽ ചുമത്തിയതു ഒക്കെയും അവൻ കൊടുക്കേണം. | 30 यदि उस पर छुड़ौती ठहराई जाए, तो प्राण छुड़ाने को जो कुछ उसके लिथे ठहराया जाए उसे उतना ही देना पकेगा। |
| 31 If it gores a man's son or daughter, he shall be dealt with according to this same rule. | 31 അതു ഒരു ബാലനെ കുത്തിയാലും ഒരു ബാലയെ കുത്തിയാലും ഈ ന്യായപ്രകാരം അവനോടു ചെയ്യേണം. | 31 चाहे बैल ने किसी बेटे को, चाहे बेटी को मारा हो, तौभी इसी नियम के अनुसार उसके स्वामी के साय व्यवहार किया जाए। |
| 32 If the ox gores a slave, male or female, the owner shall give to their master thirty shekels of silver, and the ox shall be stoned. | 32 കാള ഒരു ദാസനെയോ ദാസിയെയോ കുത്തിയാൽ അവൻ അവരുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥന്നു മുപ്പതു ശേക്കെൽ വെള്ളി കൊടുക്കേണം; കാളയെ കൊന്നുകളകയും വേണം. | 32 यदि बैल ने किसी दास वा दासी को सींग मारा हो, तो बैल का स्वामी उस दास के स्वामी को तीस शेकेल रूपा दे, और वह बैल पत्यरवाह किया जाए।। |
| 33 "When a man opens a pit, or when a man digs a pit and does not cover it, and an ox or a donkey falls into it, | 33 ഒരുത്തൻ ഒരു കുഴി തുറന്നുവെക്കുകയോ കുഴി കുഴിച്ചു അതിനെ മൂടാതിരിക്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു അതിൽ ഒരു കാളയോ കഴുതയോ വീണാൽ, | 33 यदि कोई मनुष्य गड़हा खोलकर वा खोदकर उसको न ढांपे, और उस में किसी का बैल वा गदहा गिर पके |
| 34 the owner of the pit shall make restoration. He shall give money to its owner, and the dead beast shall be his. | 34 കുഴിയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥൻ വിലകൊടുത്തു അതിന്റെ യജമാനന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തേണം; എന്നാൽ ചത്തുപോയതു അവന്നുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം. | 34 तो जिसका वह गड़हा हो वह उस हानि को भर दे; वह पशु के स्वामी को उसका मोल दे, और लोय गड़हेवाले की ठहरे।। |
| 35 "When one man's ox butts another's, so that it dies, then they shall sell the live ox and share its price, and the dead beast also they shall share. | 35 ഒരുത്തന്റെ കാള മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ കാളയെ കുത്തീട്ടു അതു ചത്തുപോയാൽ അവർ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന കാളയെ വിറ്റു അതിന്റെ വില പകുത്തെടുക്കേണം; ചത്തുപോയതിനെയും പകുത്തെടുക്കേണം. | 35 यदि किसी का बैल किसी दूसरे के बैल को ऐसी चोट लगाए, कि वह मर जाए, तो वे दोनो मनुष्य जीते बैल को बेचकर उसका मोल आपस में आधा आधा बांट ले; और लोय को भी वैसा ही बांटें। |
| 36 Or if it is known that the ox has been accustomed to gore in the past, and its owner has not kept it in, he shall repay ox for ox, and the dead beast shall be his. | 36 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആ കാള മുമ്പെ തന്നേ കുത്തുന്നതു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഉടമസ്ഥൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കാതിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ കാളെക്കു പകരം കാളയെ കൊടുക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ ചത്തുപോയതു അവന്നുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം. | 36 यदि यह प्रगट हो कि उस बैल की पहिले से सींग मारने की बान पक्की यी, पर उसके स्वामी ने उसे बान्ध नहीं रखा, तो निश्चय यह बैल की सन्ती बैल भर दे, पर लोय उसी की ठहरे।। |
