| 2 for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. | 2 അവ ദീർഘായുസ്സും ജീവകാലവും സമാധാനവും നിനക്കു വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചുതരും. | 2 क्योंकि ऐसा करने से तेरी आयु बढ़ेगी, और तू अधिक कुशल से रहेगा। |
| 3 Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. | 3 ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകരുതു; അവയെ നിന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ കെട്ടിക്കൊൾക; നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ പലകയിൽ എഴുതിക്കൊൾക. | 3 कृपा और सच्चाई तुझ से अलग न होने पाएं; वरन उनको अपके गले का हार बनाना, और अपक्की ह्रृदयरूपी पटिया पर लिखना। |
| 4 So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. | 4 അങ്ങനെ നീ ദൈവത്തിന്നും മനുഷ്യർക്കും ബോദ്ധ്യമായ ലാവണ്യവും സൽബുദ്ധിയും പ്രാപിക്കും. | 4 और तू परमेश्वर और मनुष्य दोनोंका अनुग्रह पाएगा, तू अति बुद्धिमान होगा।। |
| 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. | 5 പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്ക; സ്വന്ത വിവേകത്തിൽ ഊന്നരുതു. | 5 तू अपक्की समझ का सहारा न लेना, वरन सम्पूर्ण मन से यहोवा पर भरोसा रखना। |
| 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. | 6 നിന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും അവനെ നിനെച്ചുകൊൾക; അവൻ നിന്റെ പാതകളെ നേരെയാക്കും; | 6 उसी को स्मरण करके सब काम करना, तब वे तेरे लिथे सीधा मार्ग निकालेगा। |
| 7 Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. | 7 നിനക്കു തന്നേ നീ ജ്ഞാനിയായി തോന്നരുതു; യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു ദോഷം വിട്ടുമാറുക. | 7 अपक्की दृष्टि में बुद्धिमान न होना; यहोवा का भय मानना, और बुराई से अलग रहना। |
| 8 It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. | 8 അതു നിന്റെ നാഭിക്കു ആരോഗ്യവും അസ്ഥികൾക്കു തണുപ്പും ആയിരിക്കും. | 8 ऐसा करने से तेरा शरीर भला चंगा, और तेरी हड्डियां पुष्ट रहेंगी। |
| 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; | 9 യഹോവയെ നിന്റെ ധനംകൊണ്ടും എല്ലാവിളവിന്റെയും ആദ്യഫലംകൊണ്ടും ബഹുമാനിക്ക. | 9 अपक्की संपत्ति के द्वारा और अपक्की भूमि की पहिली उपज दे देकर यहोवा की प्रतिष्ठा करना; |
| 10 then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine. | 10 അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ കളപ്പുരകൾ സമൃദ്ധിയായി നിറയും; നിന്റെ ചക്കുകളിൽ വീഞ്ഞു കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകും. | 10 इस प्रकार तेरे खत्ते भरे और पूरे रहेंगे, और तेरे रसकुण्डोंसे नया दाखमधु उमण्डता रहेगा।। |
| 11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline or be weary of his reproof, | 11 മകനേ, യഹോവയുടെ ശിക്ഷയെ നിരസിക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ ശാസനയിങ്കൽ മുഷികയും അരുതു. | 11 हे मेरे पुत्र, यहोवा की शिझा से मुंह न मोड़ना, और जब वह तुझे डांटे, तब तू बुरा न मानना, |
| 12 for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights. | 12 അപ്പൻ ഇഷ്ടപുത്രനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ യഹോവ താൻ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവനെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. | 12 क्योंकि यहोवा जिस से प्रेम रखता है उसको डांटता है, जैसे कि बाप उस बेटे को जिसे वह अधिक चाहता है।। |
| 13 Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, | 13 ജ്ഞാനം പ്രാപിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യനും വിവേകം ലഭിക്കുന്ന നരനും ഭാഗ്യവാൻ. | 13 क्या ही धन्य है वह मनुष्य जो बुद्धि पाए, और वह मनुष्य जो समझ प्राप्त करे, |
| 14 for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. | 14 അതിന്റെ സമ്പാദനം വെള്ളിയുടെ സമ്പാദനത്തിലും അതിന്റെ ലാഭം തങ്കത്തിലും നല്ലതു. | 14 क्योंकि बुद्धि की प्राप्ति चान्दी की प्राप्ति से बड़ी, और उसका लाभ चोखे सोने के लाभ से भी उत्तम है। |

| 19 The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens; | 19 ജ്ഞാനത്താൽ യഹോവ ഭൂമിയെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു; വിവേകത്താൽ അവൻ ആകാശത്തെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു. | 19 यहोवा ने पृय्वी की नेव बुद्धि ही से डाली; और स्वर्ग को समझ ही के द्वारा स्यिर किया। |
| 20 by his knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew. | 20 അവന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്താൽ ആഴങ്ങൾ പിളർന്നു; മേഘങ്ങൾ മഞ്ഞു പൊഴിക്കുന്നു. | 20 उसी के ज्ञान के द्वारा गहिरे सागर फूट निकले, और आकाशमण्डल से ओस टपकती है।। |
| 21 My son, do not lose sight of these--keep sound wisdom and discretion, | 21 മകനേ, ജ്ഞാനവും വകതിരിവും കാത്തുകൊൾക; അവ നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽനിന്നു മാറിപ്പോകരുതു. | 21 हे मेरे पुत्र, थे बातें तेरी दृष्टि की ओट न हाने पाएं; खरी बुद्धि और विवेक की रझा कर, |
| 22 and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. | 22 അവ നിനക്കു ജീവനും നിന്റെ കഴുത്തിന്നു അലങ്കാരവും ആയിരിക്കും. | 22 तब इन से तुझे जीवन मिलेगा, और थे तेरे गले का हार बनेंगे। |
| 23 Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. | 23 അങ്ങനെ നീ നിർഭയമായി വഴിയിൽ നടക്കും; നിന്റെ കാൽ ഇടറുകയുമില്ല. | 23 और तू अपके मार्ग पर निडर चलेगा, और तेरे पांव में ठेस न लगेगी। |
| 24 If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. | 24 നീ കിടപ്പാൻ പോകുമ്പോൾ നിനക്കു പേടി ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ ഉറക്കം സുഖകരമായിരിക്കും. | 24 जब तू लेटेगा, तब भय न खाएगा, जब तू लेटेगा, तब सुख की नींद आएगी। |
| 25 Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, | 25 പെട്ടെന്നുള്ള പേടി ഹേതുവായും ദുഷ്ടന്മാർക്കു വരുന്ന നാശംനിമിത്തവും നീ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല. | 25 अचानक आनेवाले भय से न डरना, और जब दुष्टोंपर विपत्ति आ पके, तब न घबराना; |
| 26 for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. | 26 യഹോവ നിന്റെ ആശ്രയമായിരിക്കും; അവൻ നിന്റെ കാൽ കുടുങ്ങാതവണ്ണം കാക്കും. | 26 क्योंकि यहोवा तुझे सहारा दिया करेगा, और तेरे पांव को फन्दे में फंसने न देगा। |
| 27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. | 27 നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാൻ നിനക്കു പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ളപ്പോൾ അതിന്നു യോഗ്യന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കു ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കരുതു. | 27 जिनका भला करना चाहिथे, यदि तुझ में शक्ति रहे, तो उनका भला करने से न रूकना।। |
| 28 Do not say to your neighbor, "Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it"--when you have it with you. | 28 നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു: പോയിവരിക, നാളെത്തരാം എന്നു പറയരുതു. | 28 यदि तेरे पास देने को कुछ हो, तो अपके पड़ोसी से न कहना कि जा कल फिर आना, कल मैं तुझे दूंगा। |

| 31 Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways, | 31 സാഹസക്കാരനോടു നീ അസൂയപ്പെടരുതു; അവന്റെ വഴികൾ ഒന്നും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കയുമരുതു. | 31 उपद्रवी पुरूष के विषय में डाह न करना, न उसकी सी चाल चलना; |
| 32 for the devious person is an abomination to the LORD, but the upright are in his confidence. | 32 വക്രതയുള്ളവൻ യഹോവെക്കു വെറുപ്പാകുന്നു; നീതിമാന്മാർക്കോ അവന്റെ സഖ്യത ഉണ്ടു. | 32 क्योंकि यहोवा कुटिल से घृणा करता है, परन्तु वह अपना भेद सीधे लोगोंपर खोलता है।। |
| 33 The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the dwelling of the righteous. | 33 യഹോവയുടെ ശാപം ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഉണ്ടു; നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തെയോ അവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. | 33 दुष्ट के घर पर यहोवा का शाप और धमिर्योंके वासस्यान पर उसकी आशीष होती है। |
| 34 Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he gives favor. | 34 പരിഹാസികളെ അവൻ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു; എളിയവർക്കോ അവൻ കൃപ നല്കുന്നു. | 34 ठट्ठा करनेवालोंसे वह निश्चय ठट्ठा करता है और दीनोंपर अनुग्रह करता है। |
| 35 The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace. | 35 ജ്ഞാനികൾ ബഹുമാനത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കും; ഭോഷന്മാരുടെ ഉയർച്ചയോ അപമാനം തന്നേ. | 35 बुद्धिमान महिमा को पाएंगे, और मूर्खोंकी बढ़ती अपमान ही की होगी।। |
