| 2 When the house of David was told, "Syria is in league with Ephraim," the heart of Ahaz and the heart of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake before the wind. | 2 അരാം എഫ്രയീമിനോടു യോജിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ദാവീദുഗൃഹത്തിന്നു അറിവുകിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ഹൃദയവും അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയവും കാട്ടിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു ഉലയുമ്പോലെ ഉലഞ്ഞുപോയി. | 2 जब दाऊद के घराने को यह समाचार मिला कि अरामियोंने एप्रैमियोंसे सन्धि की है, तब उसका और प्रजा का भी मन ऐसा कांप उठा जैसे वन के वृझ वायु चलने से कांप जाते हैं। |
| 3 And the LORD said to Isaiah, "Go out to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-jashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool on the highway to the Washer's Field. | 3 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ യെശയ്യാവോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നീയും നിന്റെ മകൻ ശെയാർ-യാശൂബും അലക്കുകാരന്റെ വയലിലെ പെരുവഴിക്കൽ മേലെക്കുളത്തിന്റെ നീർപാത്തിയുടെ അറ്റത്തു ആഹാസിനെ എതിരേല്പാൻ ചെന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: | 3 तब यहोवा ने यशायाह से कहा, अपके पुत्र शार्याशूब को लेकर धोबियोंके खेत की सड़क से ऊपरली पोखरे की नाली के सिक्के पर आहाज से भेंट करने के लिथे जा, |
| 4 And say to him, 'Be careful, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint because of these two smoldering stumps of firebrands, at the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria and the son of Remaliah. | 4 സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾക: സാവധാനമായിരിക്ക; പുകയുന്ന ഈ രണ്ടു മുറിക്കൊള്ളിനിമിത്തം അരാമിന്റെയും രെസീന്റെയും രെമല്യാവിൻ മകന്റെയും ഉഗ്രകോപംനിമിത്തം നീ ഭയപ്പെടരുതു; നിന്റെ ധൈര്യം ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകയുമരുതു. | 4 और उस से कह, सावधान और शान्त हो; और उन दोनोंधूंआं निकलती लुकटियोंसे अर्यात् रसीन और अरामियोंके भड़के हुए कोप से, और रमल्याह के पुत्र से मत डर, और न तेरा मन कच्चा हो। |
| 5 Because Syria, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has devised evil against you, saying, | 5 നാം യെഹൂദയുടെ നേരെ ചെന്നു അതിനെ വിഷമിപ്പിച്ചു മതിൽ ഇടിച്ചു കടന്നു താബെയലിന്റെ മകനെ അവിടെ രാജാവായി വാഴിക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 5 क्यांकि अरामियोंऔर रमल्याह के पुत्र समेत एप्रैमियोंने यह कहकर तेरे विरूद्ध बुरी युक्ति ठानी है कि आओ, |
| 6 "Let us go up against Judah and terrify it, and let us conquer it for ourselves, and set up the son of Tabeel as king in the midst of it," | 6 അരാമും എഫ്രയീമും രെമല്യാവിന്റെ മകനും നിന്റെ നേരെ ദുരാലോചന ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു | 6 हम यहूदा पर चढ़ाई करके उसको घबरा दें, और उसको अपके वश में लाकर ताबेल के पुत्र को राजा नियुक्त कर दें। |
| 7 thus says the Lord GOD: "'It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass. | 7 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അതു നടക്കയില്ല, സാധിക്കയുമില്ല. | 7 इसलिथे प्रभु यहोवा ने यह कहा है कि यह युक्ति न तो सफल होगी और न पूरी। |
| 8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin.(Within sixty-five years Ephraim will be broken to pieces so that it will no longer be a people.) | 8 അരാമിന്നു തല ദമ്മേശെക്; ദമ്മേശക്കിന്നു തല രെസീൻ അറുപത്തഞ്ചു സംവത്സരത്തിന്നകം എഫ്രയീം ജനമായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം തകർന്നു പോകും. | 8 क्योंकि आराम का सिर दमिश्क, ओर दमिश्क का सिर रसीन है। फिर एप्रैम का सिर शोमरोन और शोमरोन का सिर रमल्याह का पुत्र है। |
| 9 "'And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you are not firm in faith, you will not be firm at all.'" | 9 എഫ്രയീമിന്നു തല ശമർയ്യ; ശമർയ്യെക്കു തല രെമല്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ; നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിശ്വാസം ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്ഥിരവാസവുമില്ല. | 9 पैंसठ वर्ष के भीतर एप्रैम का बल इतना टूट जाएगा कि वह जाति बनी न रहेगी। यदि तुम लोग इस बात की प्रतीति न करो; तो निश्चय तुम स्यिर न रहोगे।। |
| 10 Again the LORD spoke to Ahaz, | 10 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും ആഹാസിനോടു: | 10 फिर यहोवा ने आहाज से कहा, |
| 11 "Ask a sign of the LORD your God; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven." | 11 നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു താഴെ പാതാളത്തിലോ മീതെ ഉയരത്തിലോ ഒരു അടയാളം ചോദിച്ചുകൊൾക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചതിന്നു ആഹാസ്: | 11 अपके परमेश्वर यहोवा से कोई चिन्ह मांग; चाहे वह गहिरे स्यान का हो, वा ऊपर आसमान का हो। |
| 12 But Ahaz said, "I will not ask, and I will not put the LORD to the test." | 12 ഞാൻ ചോദിക്കയില്ല, യഹോവയെ പരീക്ഷിക്കയും ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 12 आहाज ने कहा, मैं नहीं मांगने का, और मैं यहोवा की पक्कीझा नहीं करूंगा। |
| 13 And he said, "Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also? | 13 അതിന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: ദാവീദുഗൃഹമേ, കേൾപ്പിൻ; മനുഷ്യരെ മുഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു പോരാഞ്ഞിട്ടോ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തെക്കൂടെ മുഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു? | 13 तब उस ने कहा, हे दाऊद के घराने सुनो! क्या तुम मनुष्योंको उकता देना छोटी बात समझकर अब मेरे परमेश्वर को भी उकता दोगे? |
| 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. | 14 അതു കൊണ്ടു കർത്താവു തന്നേ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു അടയാളം തരും: കന്യക ഗർഭിണിയായി ഒരു മകനെ പ്രസവിക്കും; അവന്നു ഇമ്മാനൂവേൽ എന്നു പേർ വിളിക്കും. | 14 इस कारण प्रभु आप ही तुम को एक चिन्ह देगा। सुनो, एक कुमारी गर्भवती होगी और पुत्र जनेगी, और उसका नाम इम्मानूएल रखेगी। |
| 15 He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good. | 15 തിന്മ തള്ളി നന്മ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പാൻ പ്രായമാകുംവരെ അവൻ തൈരും തേനുംകൊണ്ടു ഉപജീവിക്കും. | 15 और जब तक वह बुरे को त्यागना और भले को ग्रहण करना न जाने तब तक वह मक्खन और मधु खाएगा। |
| 16 For before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will be deserted. | 16 തിന്മ തള്ളി നന്മ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പാൻ ബാലന്നു പ്രായമാകുംമുമ്പെ, നീ വെറുക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെയും ദേശം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും. | 16 क्योंकि उस से पहिले कि वह लड़का बुरे को त्यागना और भले को ग्रहण करना जाने, वह देश जिसके दोनोंराजाओं से तू घबरा रहा है निर्जन हो जाएगा। |
| 17 The LORD will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah--the king of Assyria." | 17 യഹോവ നിന്റെമേലും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്മേലും നിന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്മേലും എഫ്രയീം യെഹൂദയെ വിട്ടുപിരിഞ്ഞ നാൾമുതൽ വന്നിട്ടില്ലാത്തൊരു കാലം വരുത്തും; അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിനെ തന്നേ. | 17 यहोवा तुझ पर, तेरी प्रजा पर और तेरे पिता के घराने पर ऐसे दिनोंको ले आएगा कि जब से एप्रैम यहूदा से अलग हो गया, तब वे वैसे दिन कभी नहीं आए -- अर्यात् अश्शूर के राजा के दिन ।। |
| 18 In that day the LORD will whistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria. | 18 അന്നാളിൽ യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമിലെ നദികളുടെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നു കൊതുകിനെയും അശ്ശൂർദേശത്തുനിന്നു തേനീച്ചയെയും ചൂളകുത്തി വിളിക്കും. | 18 उस समय यहोवा उन मक्खियोंको जो मिस्र की नदियोंके सिरोंपर रहती हैं, और उन मधुमक्खियोंको जो अश्शूर देश में रहती हैं, सीटी बजाकर बुलाएगा। |
| 19 And they will all come and settle in the steep ravines, and in the clefts of the rocks, and on all the thornbushes, and on all the pastures. | 19 അവ ഒക്കെയും വന്നു ശൂന്യമായ താഴ്വരകളിലും പാറപ്പിളർപ്പുകളിലും എല്ലാ മുൾപടർപ്പുകളിലും എല്ലാ മേച്ചൽ പുറങ്ങളിലും പറ്റും | 19 और वे सब की सब आकर इस देश के पहाड़ी नालोंमें, और चट्टानोंकी दरारोंमें, और सब भटकटैयोंऔर सब चराइयोंपर बैठ जाएंगी।। |
| 20 In that day the Lord will shave with a razor that is hired beyond the River--with the king of Assyria--the head and the hair of the feet, and it will sweep away the beard also. | 20 അന്നാളിൽ കർത്താവു നദിക്കു അക്കരെനിന്നു കൂലിക്കു വാങ്ങിയ ക്ഷൌരക്കത്തികൊണ്ടു, അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു തന്നേ, തലയും കാലും ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യും; അതു താടിയുംകൂടെ നീക്കും. | 20 उसी समय प्रभु महानद के पारवाले अश्शूर के राजारूपी भाड़े के छूरे से सिर और पांवोंके रोंएं मूंड़ेगा, उस से दाढ़ी भी पूरी मुंड़ जाएगी।। |
| 21 In that day a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep, | 21 അന്നാളിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ ഒരു പശുക്കിടാവിനെയും രണ്ടു ആട്ടിനെയും വളർത്തും. | 21 उस समय ऐसा होगा कि मनुष्य केवल एक कलोर और दो भेड़ोंको पालेगा; |
| 22 and because of the abundance of milk that they give, he will eat curds, for everyone who is left in the land will eat curds and honey. | 22 അവയെ കറന്നു കിട്ടുന്ന പാലിന്റെ പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തൈരു തന്നേ കൊറ്റുകഴിക്കും; ദേശത്തു ശേഷിച്ചരിക്കുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും ആഹാരം തൈരും തേനും ആയിരിക്കും. | 22 और वे इतना दूध देंगी कि वह मक्खन खाया करेगा; क्योंकि जितने इस देश में रह जाएंगे वह सब मक्खन और मधु खाया करेंगे।। |
| 23 In that day every place where there used to be a thousand vines, worth a thousand shekels of silver, will become briers and thorns. | 23 അന്നാളിൽ ആയിരം വെള്ളിക്കാശു വിലയുള്ള ആയിരം മുന്തിരിവള്ളി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സ്ഥലമൊക്കെയും മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും പിടിച്ചുകിടക്കും. | 23 उस समय जिन जिन स्यानें में हजार टुकड़े चान्दी की हजार दाखलताएं हैं, उन सब स्यानें में कटीले ही कटीले पेड़ होंगे। |
| 24 With bow and arrows a man will come there, for all the land will be briers and thorns. | 24 ദേശമൊക്കെയും മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും പിടിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നതിനാൽ മനുഷ്യർ അമ്പും വില്ലും എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു മാത്രമേ അവിടേക്കു ചെല്ലുകയുള്ളു. | 24 तीर और धनुष लेकर लोग वहां जाया करेंगे, क्योंकि सरे देश में कटीले पेड़ हो जाएंगे; और जितने पहाड़ कुदाल से खोदे जाते हैं, |
| 25 And as for all the hills that used to be hoed with a hoe, you will not come there for fear of briers and thorns, but they will become a place where cattle are let loose and where sheep tread. | 25 തൂമ്പാകൊണ്ടു കിളെച്ചുവന്ന എല്ലാമലകളിലും മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും പേടിച്ചിട്ടു ആരും പോകയില്ല; അതു കാളകളെ അഴിച്ചുവിടുവാനും ആടുകൾ ചവിട്ടിക്കളവാനും മാത്രം ഉതകും. | 25 उन सभोंपर कटीले पेड़ोंके डर के मारे कोई न जाएगा, वे गाथे बैलोंके चरने के, और भेड़ बकरियोंके रौंदने के लिथे होंगे।। |
