| 1 Then the LORD said to me, "Take a large tablet and write on it in common characters, 'Belonging to Maher-shalal-hashbaz.' | 1 യഹോവ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: നീ ഒരു വലിയ പലക എടുത്തു, സാമാന്യഅക്ഷരത്തിൽ: മഹേർ-ശാലാൽ ഹാശ്-ബസ് എന്നു എഴുതുക. | 1 फिर यहोवा ने मुझ से कहा, एक बड़ी पटिया लेकर उस पर साधारण अझरोंसे यह लिख: महेर्शालाल्हाशबज के लिथे। |

| 4 for before the boy knows how to cry 'My father' or 'My mother,' the wealth of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be carried away before the king of Assyria." | 4 ഈ കുട്ടിക്കു അപ്പാ, അമ്മേ എന്നു വിളിപ്പാൻ പ്രായമാകുംമുമ്പെ ദമ്മേശെക്കിലെ ധനവും ശമർയ്യയിലെ കൊള്ളയും അശ്ശൂർ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോകും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു. | 4 क्योंकि इस से पहिले कि वह लड़का बापू और माँ पुकारण जाने, दमिश्क और शोमरोन दोनोंकी धन-सम्पत्ति लूटकर अश्शूर का राजा अपके देश को भेजेगा।। |
| 5 The LORD spoke to me again: | 5 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ: | 5 यहोवा ने फिर मुझ से दूसरी बार कहा, |
| 6 "Because this people have refused the waters of Shiloah that flow gently, and rejoice over Rezin and the son of Remaliah, | 6 ഈ ജനം സാവധാനത്തോടെ ഒഴുകുന്ന ശീലോഹാവെള്ളത്തെ നിരസിച്ചു രെസീനിലും രെമല്യാവിൻ മകനിലും സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു, | 6 इसलिथे कि लोग शीलोह के धीरे धीरे बहनेवाले सोते को निकम्मा जानते हैं, और रसीन और रमल्याह के पुत्र के संग एका करके आनन्द करते हैं, |
| 7 therefore, behold, the Lord is bringing up against them the waters of the River, mighty and many, the king of Assyria and all his glory. And it will rise over all its channels and go over all its banks, | 7 അതുകാരണത്താൽ തന്നേ, യഹോവ നദിയിലെ ബലമേറിയ പെരുവെള്ളത്തെ, അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിനെയും അവന്റെ സകലമഹത്വത്തെയും തന്നേ, അവരുടെമേൽ വരുത്തും; അതു അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ തോടുകളിലും പൊങ്ങി അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ കരകളെയും കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകും. | 7 इस कारण सुन, प्रभु उन पर उस प्रबल और गहिरे महानद को, अर्यात् अश्शूर के राजा को उसके सारे प्रताप के साय चढ़ा लाएगा; और वह उनके सब नालोंको भर देगा और सारे कड़ाड़ोंसे छलककर बहेगा; |
| 8 and it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass on, reaching even to the neck, and its outspread wings will fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel." | 8 അതു യെഹൂദയിലേക്കു കടന്നു കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകി കഴുത്തോളം എത്തും; അതിന്റെ വിടർന്ന ചിറകു, ഇമ്മാനൂവേലേ, നിന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ വീതിയെ മൂടും. | 8 और वह यहूदा पर भी चढ़ आएगा, और बढ़ते बढ़ते उस पर चढ़ेगा और गले तक पहुंचेगा; और हे इम्मानुएल, तेरा समस्त देश उसके पंखोंके फैलने से ढंप जाएगा।। |
| 9 Be broken, you peoples, and be shattered; give ear, all you far countries; strap on your armor and be shattered; strap on your armor and be shattered. | 9 ജാതികളേ, കലഹിപ്പിൻ; തകർന്നുപോകുവിൻ! സകല ദൂരദിക്കുകാരുമായുള്ളോരേ, ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; അര കെട്ടിക്കൊൾവിൻ; തകർന്നുപോകുവിൻ. അര കെട്ടിക്കൊൾവിൻ, തകർന്നുപോകുവിൻ. | 9 हे लोगों, हल्ला करो तो करो, परन्तु तुम्हारा सत्यानाश हो जाएगा। हे पृय्वी के दूर दूर देश के सब लोगोंकान लगाकर सुनो, अपक्की अपक्की कमर कसो तो कसो, परन्तु तुम्हारे टुकड़े टुकड़े किए जाएंगे; अपक्की कमर कसो तो कसो, परन्तु तुम्हारा सत्यानाश हो जाएगा। |
| 10 Take counsel together, but it will come to nothing; speak a word, but it will not stand, for God is with us. | 10 കൂടി ആലോചിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; അതു നിഷ്ഫലമായിത്തീരും; കാര്യം പറഞ്ഞുറെപ്പിൻ; സാദ്ധ്യം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ദൈവം ഞങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടു. | 10 तुम युक्ति करो तो करो, परन्तु वह निष्फल हो जाएगी, तुम कुछ भी कहो, परन्तु तुम्हारा कहा हुआ ठहरेगा नहीं, क्योंकि परमेश्वर हमारे संग है।। |
| 11 For the LORD spoke thus to me with his strong hand upon me, and warned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: | 11 യഹോവ ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ വഴിയിൽ നടക്കാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്നതെന്തെന്നാൽ: | 11 क्योंकि यहोवा दृढ़ता के साय मुझ से बोला और इन लोगोंकी सी चाल चलने को मुझे मना किया, |
| 12 "Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. | 12 ഈ ജനം കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു എന്നു പറയുന്നതിന്നൊക്കെയും കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയരുതു; അവർ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നതിനെ നിങ്ങൾ ഭയപ്പെടരുതു, ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകയുമരുതു. | 12 और कहा, जिस बात को यह लोग राजद्रोह कहें, उसको तुम राजद्रोह न कहना, और जिस बात से वे डरते हैं उस से तुम न डरना और न भय खाना। |
| 13 But the LORD of hosts, him you shall regard as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. | 13 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ ശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പിൻ; അവൻ തന്നേ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭയവും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭീതിയും ആയിരിക്കട്ടെ. | 13 सेनाओं के यहोवा ही को पवित्र जानना; उसी का डर मानना, और उसी का भय रखना। |
| 14 And he will become a sanctuary and a stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. | 14 എന്നാൽ അവൻ ഒരു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരമായിരിക്കും; എങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്നു രണ്ടിന്നും അവൻ ഒരു ഇടർച്ചക്കല്ലും തടങ്ങൽപാറയും യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികൾക്കു ഒരു കുടുക്കും കണിയും ആയിരിക്കും. | 14 और वह शरणस्यान होगा, परन्तु इस्राएल के दोनो घरानोंके लिथे ठोकर का पत्यर और ठेस की चट्टान, और यरूशलेम के निवासियोंके लिथे फन्दा और जाल होगा। |
| 15 And many shall stumble on it. They shall fall and be broken; they shall be snared and taken." | 15 പലരും അതിന്മേൽ തട്ടിവീണു തകർന്നുപോകയും കണിയിൽ കുടുങ്ങി പിടിപെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. | 15 और बहुत से लोग ठोकर खाएंगे; वे गिरेंगे और चकनाचूर होंगे; वे फन्दे में फसेंगे और पकड़े जाएंगे। |
| 16 Bind up the testimony; seal the teaching among my disciples. | 16 സാക്ഷ്യം പൊതിഞ്ഞുകെട്ടുക; എന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉപദേശം മുദ്രയിട്ടു വെക്കുക. | 16 चितौनी का पत्र बन्द कर दो, मेरे चेलोंके बीच शिझा पर छाप लगा दो। |
| 17 I will wait for the LORD, who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob, and I will hope in him. | 17 ഞാനോ യാക്കോബുഗൃഹത്തിന്നു തന്റെ മുഖം മറെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കയും പ്രത്യാശിക്കയും ചെയ്യും. | 17 मैं उस यहोवा की बाट जोहता रहूंगा जो अपके मुंख को याकूब के घराने से छिपाथे है, और मैं उसी पर आशा लगाए रहूंगा। |
| 18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are signs and portents in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion. | 18 ഇതാ, ഞാനും യഹോവ എനിക്കു തന്ന മക്കളും സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയാൽ യിസ്രായേലിൽ അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു. | 18 देख, मैं और जो लड़के यहोवा ने मुझे सौंपे हैं, उसी सेनाओं के यहोवा की ओर से जो सिय्योन पर्वत पर निवास किए रहता है इस्राएलियोंके लिथे चिन्ह और चमत्कार हैं। |
| 19 And when they say to you, "Inquire of the mediums and the necromancers who chirp and mutter," should not a people inquire of their God? Should they inquire of the dead on behalf of the living? | 19 വെളിച്ചപ്പാടന്മാരോടു ചിലെക്കുകയും ജപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരായ ലക്ഷണവാദികളോടും അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ എന്നു അവർ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ -- ജനം തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തോടല്ലയോ ചോദിക്കേണ്ടതു? ജീവനുള്ളവർക്കു വേണ്ടി മരിച്ചവരോടോ ചോദിക്കേണ്ടതു? | 19 जब लोग तुम से कहें कि ओफाओं और टोन्होंके पास जाकर पूछो जो गुनगुनाते और फुसफुसाते हैं, तब तुम यह कहना कि क्या प्रजा को अपके परमेश्वर ही के पास जाकर न पूछना चाहिथे? क्या जीवतोंके लिथे मुर्दोंसे पूछना चाहिथे? |
| 20 To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn. | 20 ഉപദേശത്തിന്നും സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നും വരുവിൻ! അവർ ഈ വാക്കുപോലെ പറയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ -- അവർക്കു അരുണോദയം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല. | 20 व्यवस्या और चितौनी ही की चर्चा किया करो! यदि वे लोग इस वचनोंके अनुसार न बोलें तो निश्चय उनके लिथे पौ न फटेगी |
| 21 They will pass through the land, greatly distressed and hungry. And when they are hungry, they will be enraged and will speak contemptuously against their king and their God, and turn their faces upward. | 21 അവർ ഏറ്റവും വലഞ്ഞും വിശന്നും ദേശത്തുകൂടി കടന്നുപോകും; അവർക്കു വിശക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ മുഷിഞ്ഞു തങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവിനെയും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തെയും ശപിച്ചു മുഖം മേലോട്ടു തിരിക്കും. | 21 वे इस देश में क्लेशित और भूखे फिरते रहेंगे; और जब वे भूखे होंगे, तब वे क्रोध में आकर अपके राजा और अपके परमेश्वर को शाप देंगे, और अपना मुख ऊपर आकाश की ओर उठाएंगे; |
| 22 And they will look to the earth, but behold, distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish. And they will be thrust into thick darkness. | 22 അവർ ഭൂമിയിൽ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ കഷ്ടതയും അന്ധകാരവും സങ്കടമുള്ള തിമിരവും കാണും; കൂരിരുട്ടിലേക്കു അവരെ തള്ളിക്കളയും. | 22 तब वे पृय्वी की ओर दृष्टि करेंगे परन्तु उन्हें सकेती और अन्धिक्कारनेा अर्यात् संकट भरा अन्धकार ही देख पकेगा; और वे घोर अन्धकार में ढकेल दिए जाएंगे।। |
