| 6 so you are to go, and on a day of fasting in the hearing of all the people in the LORD's house you shall read the words of the LORD from the scroll that you have written at my dictation. You shall read them also in the hearing of all the men of Judah who come out of their cities. | 6 ആകയാൽ നീ ചെന്നു എന്റെ വാമൊഴികേട്ടു എഴുതിയ ചുരുളിൽനിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ഉപവാസദിവസത്തിൽ തന്നേ ജനം കേൾക്കെ വായിക്ക; അതതു പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു വരുന്ന എല്ലായെഹൂദയും കേൾക്കെ നീ അതു വായിക്കേണം. | 6 सो तु उपवास के दिन यहोवा के भवन में जाकर उसके जो वचन तू ने मुझ से सुनकर लिखे हैं, पुस्तक में से लोगोंको पढ़कर सुनाना, और जितने यहूदी लोग अपके अपके नगरोंसे आएंगे, उनको भी पढ़कर सुनाना। |
| 7 It may be that their plea for mercy will come before the LORD, and that every one will turn from his evil way, for great is the anger and wrath that the LORD has pronounced against this people." | 7 പക്ഷെ അവർ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വീണു അപേക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുതിരിയും; യഹോവ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കോപവും ക്രോധവും വലിയതല്ലോ. | 7 क्या जाने वे यहोवा से गिड़गिड़ाकर प्रार्यना करें और अपक्की अपक्की बुरी चाल से फिरें; क्योंकि जो क्रोध और जलजलाहट यहोवा ने अपक्की इस प्रजा पर भड़काने को कहा है, वह बड़ी है। |
| 8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did all that Jeremiah the prophet ordered him about reading from the scroll the words of the LORD in the LORD's house. | 8 യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെയൊക്കെയും നേർയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ബാരൂക്ക് ചെയ്തു, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ആ പുസ്തകത്തിൽനിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ വായിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു. | 8 यिर्मयाह भविष्यद्वक्ता की इस आज्ञा के अनुसार नेरिय्याह के पुत्र बारूक ने, यहोवा के भवन में उस पुस्तक में से उसके वचन पढ़कर सुनाए। |
| 9 In the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem proclaimed a fast before the LORD. | 9 യോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ അഞ്ചാം ആണ്ടിൽ, ഒമ്പതാം മാസത്തിൽ, അവർ യെരൂശലേമിലെ സകല ജനത്തിന്നും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്ന സകലജനത്തിന്നും യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ ഒരു ഉപവാസം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കി, | 9 और योशिय्याह के पुत्र यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीम के राज्य के पांचवें बरस के नौवें महीने में यरूशलेम में जितने लोग थे, और यहूदा के नगरोंसे जितने लोग यरूशलेम में आए थे, उन्होंने यहोवा के साम्हने उपवास करने का प्रचार किया। |

| 11 When Micaiah the son of Gemariah, son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the LORD from the scroll, | 11 ശാഫാന്റെ മകനായ ഗെമർയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ മീഖായാവു യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും പുസ്തകത്തിൽനിന്നു വായിച്ചു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ | 11 तब शापान के पुत्र गमर्याह के बेटे मीकायाह ने यहोवा के सारे वचन पुस्तक में से सुने। |
| 12 he went down to the king's house, into the secretary's chamber, and all the officials were sitting there: Elishama the secretary, Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, Elnathan the son of Achbor, Gemariah the son of Shaphan, Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the officials. | 12 അവൻ രാജഗൃഹത്തിൽ രായസക്കാരന്റെ മുറിയിൽ ചെന്നു; അവിടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു; രായസക്കാരൻ എലീശാമായും ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ദെലായാവും അഖ്ബോരിന്റെ മകൻ എൽനാഥാനും ശാഫാന്റെ മകൻ ഗെമർയ്യാവും ഹനന്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ സിദെക്കീയാവും ശേഷം പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും തന്നേ. | 12 और वह राजभवन के प्रधान की कोठरी में उतर गया, और क्या देखा कि वहां एलीशमा प्रधान और शमायाह का पुत्र दलायाह और अबबोर का पुत्र एलनातान और शापान का पुत्र गमर्याह और हनन्याह का पुत्र सिदकिय्याह और सब हाकिम बैठे हुए हैं। |

| 14 Then all the officials sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah, son of Cushi, to say to Baruch, "Take in your hand the scroll that you read in the hearing of the people, and come." | 15 And they said to him, "Sit down and read it." So Baruch read it to them. | 15 അവർ അവനോടു: ഇവിടെ ഇരുന്നു അതു വായിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ബാരൂക്ക് വായിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിച്ചു. | 15 तब उन्होंने उस से कहा, अब बैठ जा और हमें यह पढ़कर सुना। तब बारूक ने उनको पढ़कर सुना दिया। |
| 16 When they heard all the words, they turned one to another in fear. | 17 Then they asked Baruch, "Tell us, please, how did you write all these words? | 21 Then the king sent Jehudi to get the scroll, and he took it from the chamber of Elishama the secretary. | 22 It was the ninth month, and the king was sitting in the winter house, and there was a fire burning in the fire pot before him. | 22 അന്നു ഒമ്പതാം മാസത്തിൽ രാജാവു ഹേമന്തഗൃഹത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കയായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നെരിപ്പോട്ടിൽ തീ കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. | 22 राजा शीतकाल के भवन में बैठा हुआ या, क्योंकि नौवां महीना या और उसके साम्हने अंगीठी जल रही यी। |

| 24 Yet neither the king nor any of his servants who heard all these words was afraid, nor did they tear their garments. | 24 രാജാവാകട്ടെ ആ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും കേട്ട ഭൃത്യന്മാരിൽ ആരെങ്കിലുമാകട്ടെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയോ വസ്ത്രം കീറുകയോ ചെയ്തില്ല. | 24 परन्तु न कोई डरा और न किसी ने अपके कपके फाड़े, अर्यात् न तो राजा ने और न उसके कम्रचारियोंमें से किसी ने ऐसा किया, जिन्होंने वे सब वचन सुने थे। |
| 25 Even when Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah urged the king not to burn the scroll, he would not listen to them. | 25 ചുരുൾ ചുട്ടുകളയരുതേ എന്നു എൽനാഥാനും ദെലായാവും ശെമർയ്യാവും രാജാവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവൻ അവരുടെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടില്ല. | 25 एलनातान, और दलायाह, और गमर्याह ने तो राजा से बिनती भी की यी कि पुस्तक को न जलाए, परन्तु उस ने उनकी एक न सुनी। |

| 28 "Take another scroll and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned. | 28 നീ മറ്റൊരു ചുരുൾ മേടിച്ചു യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാക്കീം ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞ മുമ്പിലത്തെ ചുരുളിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അതിൽ എഴുതുക. | 28 फिर एक और पुस्तक लेकर उस में यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीम की जलाई हई पहिली पुस्तक के सब वचन लिख दे। |
| 29 And concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah you shall say, 'Thus says the LORD, You have burned this scroll, saying, "Why have you written in it that the king of Babylon will certainly come and destroy this land, and will cut off from it man and beast?" | 29 എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിനോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേൽരാജാവു വന്നു ഈ ദേശത്തെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു, മനുഷ്യനെയും മൃഗത്തെയും മുടിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു നീ അതിൽ എഴുതിയതു എന്തിനു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നീ ആ ചുരുൾ ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ. | 29 और यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीम के विषय में कह कि यहोवा योंकहता है, तू ने उस पुस्तक को यह कहकर जला दिया है कि तू ने उस में यह क्योंलिखा है कि बाबुल का राजा निश्चय आकर इस देश को नाश करेगा, और उस में न तो मनुष्य को छोड़ेगा और न पशु को। |

| 31 And I will punish him and his offspring and his servants for their iniquity. | 32 Then Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote on it at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire.
