| 2 "Thus says the LORD: Behold, waters are rising out of the north, and shall become an overflowing torrent; they shall overflow the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it. Men shall cry out, and every inhabitant of the land shall wail. | 2 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: വടക്കുനിന്നു വെള്ളം പൊങ്ങി കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്ന നദിയാകും; അതു ദേശത്തിന്മേലും അതിലുള്ള സകലത്തിന്മേലും പട്ടണത്തിന്മേലും അതിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവരുടെ മേലും കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകും; അപ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യർ നിലവിളിക്കും; ദേശനിവാസികൾ ഒക്കെയും മുറയിടും. | 2 यहोवा योंकहता है कि देखो, उत्तर दिशा से उमण्डनेवाली नदी देश को उस सब समेत जो उस में है, और निवासियोंसमेत नगर को डुबो लेगी। तब मनुष्य चिल्लाएंगे, वरन देश के सब रहनेवाले हाथ-हाथ करेंगे। |

For the LORD is destroying the Philistines, the remnant of the coastland of Caphtor. | 4 ഫെലിസ്ത്യരെ ഒക്കെയും നശിപ്പിപ്പാനും സോരിലും സീദോനിലും ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സകലസഹായകന്മാരെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളവാനും ഉള്ള ദിവസം വരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നേ; കഫ്തോർകടല്പുറത്തു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ള ഫെലിസ്ത്യരെ യഹോവ നശിപ്പിക്കും. | 4 क्योंकि सब पलिश्तियोंके नाश होने का दिन आता है; और सोर और सिदोन के सब बचे हुए सहाथक मिट जाएंगे। क्योंकि यहोवा पलिश्तियोंको जो कप्तोर नाम समुद्र तीर के बचे हुए रहनेवाले हैं, उनको भी नाश करने पर है। |

O remnant of their valley, how long will you gash yourselves? | 5 ഗസ്സെക്കു കഷണ്ടി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ താഴ്വരയിലെ ശേഷിപ്പായ അസ്കലോൻ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോയി; എത്രത്തോളം നീ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മുറിവേല്പിക്കും? | 5 गज़्जा के लोग सिर मुड़ाए हैं, अश्कलोन जो पलिश्तियोंके नीचान में अकेला रह गया है, वह भी मिटाया गया है; तू कब तक अपक्की देह चीरता रहेगा? |

Put yourself into your scabbard; rest and be still! | 6 അയ്യോ, യഹോവയുടെ വാളേ, നീ എത്രത്തോളം വിശ്രമിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കും? നിന്റെ ഉറയിൽ കടക്ക; വിശ്രമിച്ചു അടങ്ങിയിരിക്ക. | 6 हे यहोवा की तलवार ! तू कब तक शान्त न होगी? तू अपक्की मियान में घुस जा, शान्त हो, और यमी रह ! |
| 7 How can it be quiet when the LORD has given it a charge? Against Ashkelon and against the seashore he has appointed it." | 7 അസ്കലോന്നും സമുദ്രതീരത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായി യഹോവ കല്പന കൊടുത്തിരിക്കെ, അടങ്ങിയിരിപ്പാൻ അതിന്നു എങ്ങനെ കഴിയും? അവിടേക്കു അവൻ അതിനെ നിയോഗിച്ചുവല്ലോ. | 7 तू क्योंकर यम सकती है? क्योंकि यहोवा ने तुझ को आज्ञा देकर अश्कलोन और समुद्रतीर के विरुद्व ठहराया है। |
