| 2 And the word of the LORD came to me: | 2 അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: | 2 तब यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा, |
| 3 "Son of man, these men have taken their idols into their hearts, and set the stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. Should I indeed let myself be consulted by them? | 3 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ പുരുഷന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സ്മരിച്ചു തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യഹേതു തങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ചോദിച്ചാൽ ഞാൻ ഉത്തരമരുളുമോ? | 3 हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, इन पुरुषोंने तो अपक्की मूरतें अपके मन में स्यापित कीं, और अपके अधर्म की ठोकर अपके साम्हने रखी है; फिर क्या वे मुझ से कुछ भी पूछने पाएंगे? |
| 4 Therefore speak to them and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Any one of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart and sets the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to the prophet, I the LORD will answer him as he comes with the multitude of his idols, | 4 അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിൽ തന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സ്മരിച്ചും തന്റെ അകൃത്യഹേതു തന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു പ്രവാചകന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്ന ഏവനോടും | 4 सो तू उन से कह, प्रभु यहोवा योंकहता है, कि इस्राएल के घराने में से जो कोई अपक्की मूरतें अपके मन में स्यापित करके, और अपके अधर्म की ठोकर अपके साम्हने रखकर भविष्यद्वक्ता के पास आए, उसको, मैं यहोवा, उसकी बहुत सी मूरतोंके अनुसार ही उत्तर दूंगा, |
| 5 that I may lay hold of the hearts of the house of Israel, who are all estranged from me through their idols. | 5 യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ തന്നേ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തെ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പിടിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ബാഹുല്യത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ഉത്തരം അരുളും; അവർ എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 5 जिस से इस्राएल का घराना, जो अपक्की मूरतोंके द्वारा मुझे त्यागकर दूर हो गया है, उन्हें मैं उन्हीं के मन के द्वारा फंसाऊंगा। |
| 6 "Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD: Repent and turn away from your idols, and turn away your faces from all your abominations. | 6 ആകയാൽ നീ യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ അനുതപിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുതിരിവിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മ്ലേച്ഛബിംബങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മുഖം തിരിപ്പിൻ. | 6 सो इस्राएल के घराने से कह, प्रभु यहोवा योंकहता हे, फिरो और अपक्की मूरतोंको पीठ के पीछे करो; और अपके सब घृणित कामोंसे मुंह मोड़ो। |
| 7 For any one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, who separates himself from me, taking his idols into his heart and putting the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to a prophet to consult me through him, I the LORD will answer him myself. | 7 യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിലും യിസ്രായേലിൽ വന്നുപാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശികളിലും എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നു തന്റെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ സ്മരിച്ചും തന്റെ അകൃത്യഹേതു മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പ്രവാചകന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ വരുന്ന ഏവനോടും യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ തന്നേ ഉത്തരം അരുളും. | 7 क्योंकि इस्राएल के घराने में से और उसके बीच रहनेवाले परदेशियोंमें से भी कोई क्योंन हो, जो मेरे पीछे हो लेना छोड़कर अपक्की मूरतें अपके मन में स्यापित करे, और अपके अधर्म की ठोकर अपके साम्हने रखे, और तब मुझ से अपक्की कोई बात पूछने के लिथे भविष्यद्वक्ता के पास आए, तो उसको, मैं यहोवा आप ही उत्तर दूंगा। |
| 8 And I will set my face against that man; I will make him a sign and a byword and cut him off from the midst of my people, and you shall know that I am the LORD. | 8 ഞാൻ ആ മനുഷ്യന്റെനേരെ മുഖംതിരിച്ചു അവനെ ഒരടയാളവും പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലും ആക്കും; ഞാൻ അവനെ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും. | 8 और मैं उस मनुष्य के विरुद्ध होकर उसको विस्मित करूंगा, और चिन्ह ठहराऊंगा; और उसकी कहावत चनाऊंगा और उसे अपक्की प्रजा में से नाश करूंगा; तब तुम लोग जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ। |
| 9 And if the prophet is deceived and speaks a word, I, the LORD, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. | 9 എന്നാൽ പ്രവാചകൻ വശീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടു ഒരു വാക്കു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചാൽ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ ആ പ്രവാചകനെ വശീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവന്റെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി അവനെ യിസ്രായേൽജനത്തിൽനിന്നു സംഹരിച്ചുകളയും. | 9 और यदि भविष्यद्वक्ता ने धोखा खाकर कोई वचन कहा हो, तो जानो कि मुझ यहोवा ने उस भविष्यद्वक्ता को धोखा दिया है; और मैं अपना हाथ उसके विरुद्ध बढ़ाकर उसे अपक्की प्रजा इस्राएल में से नाश करूंगा। |
| 10 And they shall bear their punishment--the punishment of the prophet and the punishment of the inquirer shall be alike-- | 10 യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹം ഇനിമേൽ എന്നെ വിട്ടു തെറ്റിപ്പോകയും സകലവിധ ലംഘനങ്ങളുംകൊണ്ടു അശുദ്ധരായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യാതെ അവർ എനിക്കു ജനവും ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ദൈവവും ആയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു | 10 वे सब लोग अपके अपके अधर्म का बोफ उठाएंगे, अर्यात् जैसा भविष्यद्वक्ता से पूछनेवाले का अधर्म ठहरेगा, वैसा ही भविष्यद्वक्ता का भी अधर्म ठहरेगा। |
| 11 that the house of Israel may no more go astray from me, nor defile themselves anymore with all their transgressions, but that they may be my people and I may be their God, declares the Lord GOD." | 11 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യം വഹിക്കും; ചോദിക്കുന്നവന്റെ അകൃത്യവും പ്രവാചകന്റെ അകൃത്യവും ഒരുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 11 ताकि इस्राएल का घराना आगे को मेरे पीछे हो लेना न छोड़े और न अपके भांति भांति के अपराधोंके द्वारा आगे को अशुद्ध बने; वरन वे मेरी प्रजा बनें और मैं उनका परमेश्वर ठहरूं, प्रभु यहोवा की यही आणी है। |
| 12 And the word of the LORD came to me: | 12 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: | 12 और यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास महुंचा, |
| 13 "Son of man, when a land sins against me by acting faithlessly, and I stretch out my hand against it and break its supply of bread and send famine upon it, and cut off from it man and beast, | 13 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ ഒരു ദേശം എന്നോടു ദ്രോഹിച്ചു പാപം ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അതിന്റെനേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി, അപ്പം എന്ന കോൽ ഒടിച്ചു, ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി, മനുഷ്യനെയും മൃഗത്തെയും അതിൽ നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും. | 13 हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, जब किसी देश के लोग मुझ से विश्वासघात करके पापी हो जाएं, और मैं अपना हाथ उस देश के विरुद्ध बढ़ाकर उसका अन्नरूपी आधार दूर करूं, और उस में अकाल डालकर उस में से मनुष्य और पशु दोनोंको नाश करूं, |
| 14 even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness, declares the Lord GOD. | 14 നോഹ, ദാനീയേൽ, ഇയ്യോബ് എന്നീ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ അതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ നീതിയാൽ സ്വന്തജീവനെ മാത്രമേ രക്ഷിക്കയുള്ളു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 14 तब चाहे उस में नूह, दानिय्थेल और अय्यूब थे तीनोंपुरुष हों, तौभी वे अपके धर्म के द्वारा केवल अपके ही प्राणोंको बचा सकेंगे; प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी हे। |
| 15 "If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they ravage it, and it be made desolate, so that no one may pass through because of the beasts, | 15 ഞാൻ ദുഷ്ടമൃഗങ്ങളെ ദേശത്തു വരുത്തുകയും ആ മൃഗങ്ങളെ പേടിച്ചു ആരും വഴിപോകാതവണ്ണം അവ അതിനെ നിർജ്ജനമാക്കീട്ടു അതു ശൂന്യമാകയും ചെയ്താൽ, | 15 यदि मैं किसी देश में दुष्ट जन्तु भेजूं जो उसको निर्जन करके उजाड़ कर डालें, और जन्तुओं के कारण कोई उस में होकर न जाएं, |
| 16 even if these three men were in it, as I live, declares the Lord GOD, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They alone would be delivered, but the land would be desolate. | 16 ആ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ അതിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും എന്നാണ, അവർ പുത്രന്മാരെയോ പുത്രിമാരെയോ രക്ഷിക്കാതെ അവർ മാത്രമേ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയുള്ളു; ദേശമോ ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോകുമെന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 16 तो चाहे उसे में वे तीन पुरुष हों, तौभी प्रभु यहोवा की यह वाणी है, मेरे जीवन की सौगन्ध, न वे पुत्रोंको ओर न पुत्रियोंको बचा सकेंगे; वे ही अकेले बचेंगे; परन्तु देश उजाड़ हो जाएगा। |
| 17 "Or if I bring a sword upon that land and say, Let a sword pass through the land, and I cut off from it man and beast, | 17 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ആ ദേശത്തിൽ വാൾ വരുത്തി വാളേ, നീ ദേശത്തുകൂടി കടക്കുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും | 17 और यदि मैं उस देश पर तलवार खीचकर कहूं, हे तलवार उस देश में चल; और इस रीति मैं उस में से मनुष्य और पशु नाश करूं, |

| 21 "For thus says the Lord GOD: How much more when I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment, sword, famine, wild beasts, and pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast! | 21 യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു വാൾ, ക്ഷാമം ദുഷ്ടമൃഗം, മഹാമാരി എന്നിങ്ങനെ അനർത്ഥകരമായ ന്യായവിധികൾ നാലും കൂടെ അയച്ചാലോ? | 21 क्योंकि प्रभु यहोवा योंकहता है, मैं यरूशलेम पर अपके चारोंदण्ड पहुंचाऊंगा, अर्यात् तलवार, अकाल, दुष्ट जन्तु और मरी, जिन से मनुष्य और पशु सब उस में से नाश हों। |
| 22 But behold, some survivors will be left in it, sons and daughters who will be brought out; behold, when they come out to you, and you see their ways and their deeds, you will be consoled for the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, for all that I have brought upon it. | 22 എന്നാൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോരുവാനുള്ള പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ആയ ഒരു രക്ഷിതഗണം അതിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കും; അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരും; നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും കണ്ടു, ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിന്നു വരുത്തിയ അനർത്ഥവും അതിന്നു വരുത്തിയ സകലവും ചൊല്ലി ആശ്വാസം പ്രാപിക്കും. | 22 तौभी उस में योड़े से पुत्र-पुत्रियां बचेंगी जो वहां से निकालकर तुम्हारे पास पहुंचाई जाएंगी, और तुम उनके चालचलन और कामोंको देखकर उस विपत्ति के विषय में जो मैं यरूशलेम पर डालूंगा, वरन जितनी विपत्ति मैं उस पर डालूंगा, उस सब के विषय में शान्ति पाओगे। |
| 23 They will console you, when you see their ways and their deeds, and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, declares the Lord GOD." | 23 നിങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും കാണുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ആശ്വാസമായിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിൽ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും വെറുതെയല്ല ചെയ്തതു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു. | 23 जब तुम उनका चालचलन और काम देखो, तब वे तुम्हारी शान्ति के कारण होंगे; और तुम जान लोगे कि मैं ने यरूशलेम में जो कुछ किया, वह बिना कारण नहीं किया, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी हैं |
