| 1 And the word of the LORD came to me: | 1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ: | 1 फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा, |
| 2 "Son of man, how does the wood of the vine surpass any wood, the vine branch that is among the trees of the forest? | 2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, കാട്ടിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ചെടിയായിരിക്കുന്ന മുന്തിരിവള്ളിക്കു മറ്റു മരത്തെക്കാൾ എന്തു വിശേഷതയുള്ളു? | 2 हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, सब वृझोंमें अंगूर की लता की क्या श्रेष्टता है? अंगूर की शाखा जो जंगल के पेड़ोंके बीच उत्पन्न होती है, उस में क्या गुण है? |
| 3 Is wood taken from it to make anything? Do people take a peg from it to hang any vessel on it? | 3 വല്ല പണിക്കും കൊള്ളിപ്പാൻ അതിൽനിന്നു മരം എടുക്കാമോ? വല്ല സാധനവും തൂക്കിയിടേണ്ടതിന്നു അതുകൊണ്ടു ഒരാണി ഉണ്ടാക്കാമോ? | 3 क्या कोई वस्तु बनाने के लिथे उस में से लकड़ी ली जाती, वा कोई बर्तन टांगने के लिथे उस में से खूंटी बन सकती है? |
| 4 Behold, it is given to the fire for fuel. When the fire has consumed both ends of it, and the middle of it is charred, is it useful for anything? | 4 അതിനെ തീക്കു ഇരയായി കൊടുക്കുന്നു; തീ അതിന്റെ രണ്ടു അറ്റവും ദഹിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ നടുമുറിയും വെന്തിരിക്കുന്നു ഇനി അതു വല്ല പണിക്കും കൊള്ളുമോ? | 4 वह तो ईन्धन बनाकर आग में फोंकी जाती है; उसके दोनोंसिक्के आग से जल जाते, और उसके बीख् का भाग भस्म हो जाता है, क्या वह किसी भी काम की है? |
| 5 Behold, when it was whole, it was used for nothing. How much less, when the fire has consumed it and it is charred, can it ever be used for anything! | 5 അതു മുഴുവനായിരുന്നപ്പോൾതന്നേ ഒരു പണിക്കും കൊള്ളാതിരുന്നു; തീ അതിനെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കയും അതു ദഹിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്തശേഷം വല്ല പണിക്കും കൊള്ളുമോ? | 5 देख, जब वह बनी यी, तब भी वह किसी काम की न यी, फिर जब वह आग का ईन्धन होकर भस्म हो गई है, तब किस काम की हो सकती है? |
| 6 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the inhabitants of Jerusalem. | 6 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: കാട്ടിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ ഞാൻ തീക്കിരിയാക്കിക്കൊടുത്ത മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികളെയും ആക്കും. | 6 सो प्रभु यहोवा योंकहता है, जैसे जंगल के पेड़ोंमें से मैं अंगूर की लता को आग का ईन्धन कर देता हूँ, वैसे ही मैं यरूशलेम के निवासिक्कों नाश कर दूंगा। |
| 7 And I will set my face against them. Though they escape from the fire, the fire shall yet consume them, and you will know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them. | 7 ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി മുഖം തിരിക്കും; അവർ തീയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും അവർ തീക്കു ഇരയായിത്തീരും; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി മുഖം തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും. | 7 मैं उन से विरुद्ध हूंगा, और वे एक आग में से निकलकर फिर दूसरी आग का ईन्धन हो जाएंगे; और जब मैं उन से विमुख हूंगा, तब तुम लोग जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ। |
| 8 And I will make the land desolate, because they have acted faithlessly, declares the Lord GOD." | 8 അവർ ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു | 8 और मैं उनका देश उजाड़ दूंगा, क्योंकि उन्होंने मुझ से विश्वासघात किया है, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी है। |
