| 2 Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams. | 4 Then the Chaldeans said to the king in Aramaic, "O king, live forever! | 6 But if you show the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive from me gifts and rewards and great honor. Therefore show me the dream and its interpretation." | 6 സ്വപ്നവും അർത്ഥവും അറിയിച്ചാലോ നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമ്മാനവും പ്രതിഫലവും ബഹുമാനവും ലഭിക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ടു സ്വപ്നവും അർത്ഥവും അറിയിപ്പിൻ. | 6 और यदि तुम फल समेत स्वप्न को बता दो तो मुझ से भांति भांति के दान और भारी प्रतिष्ठा पाओगे। |

| 9 if you do not make the dream known to me, there is but one sentence for you. You have agreed to speak lying and corrupt words before me till the times change. | 15 He declared to Arioch, the king's captain, "Why is the decree of the king so urgent?" | 16 And Daniel went in and requested the king to appoint him a time, that he might show the interpretation to the king. | 16 ദാനീയേൽ അകത്തു ചെന്നു രാജാവിനോടു തനിക്കു സമയം തരേണം എന്നും താൻ രാജാവിനോടു അർത്ഥം അറിയിക്കാമെന്നും ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു. | 16 और दानिय्थेल ने भीतर जाकर राजा से बिनती की, कि उसके लिथे कोई समय ठहराया जाए, तो वह महाराज को स्वप्न का फल बता देगा। |

| 19 Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night. | 24 Therefore Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon. | 28 but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries, and he has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. | 31 "You saw, O king, and behold, a great image. | 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth. | 35 ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും താമ്രവും വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും ഒരുപോലെ തകർന്നു വേനൽക്കാലത്തു കളത്തിലെ പതിർപോലെ ആയിത്തീർന്നു; ഒരിടത്തും തങ്ങാതവണ്ണം കാറ്റു അവയെ പറപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; ബിംബത്തെ അടിച്ച കല്ലു ഒരു മഹാപർവ്വതമായിത്തീർന്നു ഭൂമിയിൽ ഒക്കെയും നിറഞ്ഞു. | 35 तब लोहा, मिट्टी, पीतल, चान्दी और सोना भी सब चूर चूर हो गए, और धूपकाल में खलिहानोंके भूसे की नाईं हवा से ऐसे उड़ गए कि उनका कहीं पता न रहा; और वह पत्यर जो मूत्तिर् पर लगा या, वह बड़ा पहाड़ बनकर सारी पृय्वी में फैल गया।। |
| 36 "This was the dream. Now we will tell the king its interpretation. | 36 ഇതത്രേ സ്വപ്നം; അർത്ഥവും അടിയങ്ങൾ തിരുമനസ്സു അറിയിക്കാം. | 36 स्वपन तो योंही हुआ; और अब हम उसका फल राजा को समझा देते हैं। |
| 37 You, O king, the king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, and the might, and the glory, | 37 രാജാവേ, തിരുമനസ്സുകൊണ്ടു രാജാധിരാജാവാകുന്നു; സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവം തിരുമനസ്സിലേക്കു രാജത്വവും ഐശ്വര്യവും ശക്തിയും മഹത്വവും നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. | 37 हे राजा, तू तो महाराजाधिरा है, क्योंकि स्वर्ग के परमेश्वर ने तुझ को राज्य, सामर्य, शक्ति और महिमा दी है, |

| 39 Another kingdom inferior to you shall arise after you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. | 39 തിരുമനസ്സിലെ ശേഷം തിരുമേനിയെക്കാൾ താണതായ മറ്റൊരു രാജത്വവും സർവ്വഭൂമിയിലും വാഴുവാനിരിക്കുന്നതായി താമ്രംകൊണ്ടുള്ള മൂന്നാമതൊരു രാജത്വവും ഉത്ഭവിക്കും. | 39 तेरे बाद एक राज्य और उदय होगा जो तुझ से छोटा होगा; फिर एक और तीसरा पीतल का सा राज्य होगा जिस में सारी पृय्वी आ जाएगी। |
| 40 And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these. | 40 നാലാമത്തെ രാജത്വം ഇരിമ്പുപോലെ ബലമുള്ളതായിരിക്കും; ഇരിമ്പു സകലത്തെയും തകർത്തു കീഴടക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. തകർക്കുന്ന ഇരിമ്പുപോലെ അതു അവയെ ഒക്കെയും ഇടിച്ചു തകർത്തുകളയും. | 40 और चौया राज्य लोहे के तुल्य मजबूत होगा; लोहे से तो सब वस्तुएं चूर चूर हो जाती और पिस जाती हैं; इसलिथे जिस भांति लोहे से वे सब कुचक्की जाती हैं, उसी भांति, उस चौथे राज्य से सब कुछ चूर चूर होकर पिस जाएगा। |
| 41 And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay. | 41 കാലും കാൽ വിരലും പാതി കളിമണ്ണും പാതി ഇരുമ്പുംകൊണ്ടുള്ളതായി കണ്ടതിന്റെ താല്പര്യമോ: അതു ഒരു ഭിന്നരാജത്വം ആയിരിക്കും; എങ്കിലും ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും ഇടകലർന്നതായി കണ്ടതുപോലെ അതിൽ ഇരിമ്പിന്നുള്ള ബലം കുറെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും. | 41 और तू ने जो मूत्तिर् के पांवोंऔर उनकी उंगलियोंको देखा, जो कुछ कुम्हार की मिट्टी की और कुछ लोहे की यीं, इस से वह चौया राज्य बटा हुआ होगा; तौभी उस में लोहे का सा कड़ापन रहेगा, जैसे कि तू ने कुम्हार की मिट्टी के संग लोहा भी मिला हुआ देखा या। |
| 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. | 42 കാൽവിരൽ പാതി ഇരിമ്പും പാതി കളിമണ്ണുംകൊണ്ടു ആയിരുന്നതുപോലെ രാജത്വം ഒട്ടു ബലമുള്ളതും ഒട്ടു ഉടഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നതും ആയിരിക്കും. | 42 और जैसे पांवोंकी उंगलियां कुछ तो लोहे की और कुछ मिट्टी की यीं, इसका अर्य यह है, कि वह राज्य कुछ तो दृढ़ और कुछ निर्बल होगा। |
| 43 As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay. | 43 ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും ഇടകലർന്നതായി കണ്ടതിന്റെ താല്പര്യമോ: അവർ മനുഷ്യബീജത്താൽ തമ്മിൽ ഇടകലരുമെങ്കിലും ഇരിമ്പും കളിമണ്ണും തമ്മിൽ ചേരാതിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ തമ്മിൽ ചേരുകയില്ല. | 43 और तू ने जो लोहे को कुम्हार की मिट्टी के संग मिला हुआ देखा, इसका अर्य यह है, कि उस राज्य के लोग एक दूसरे मनुष्योंसे मिले जुले तो रहेंगे, परन्तु जैसे लोहा मिट्टी के साय मेल नहीं खाता, वैसे ही वे भी एक न बने रहेंगे। |
| 44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever, | 44 ഈ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലത്തു സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ ദൈവം ഒരുനാളും നശിച്ചുപോകാത്ത ഒരു രാജത്വം സ്ഥാപിക്കും; ആ രാജത്വം വേറെ ഒരു ജാതിക്കു ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല; അതു ഈ രാജത്വങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും തകർത്തു നശിപ്പിക്കയും എന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും. | 44 और उन राजाओं के दिनोंमें स्वर्ग का परमेश्वर, एक ऐसा राज्य उदय करेगा जो अनन्तकाल तक न टूटेगा, और न वह किसी दूसरी जाति के हाथ में किया जाएगा। वरन वह उन सब राज्योंको चूर चूर करेगा, और उनका अन्त कर डालेगा; और वह सदा स्यिर रहेगा; |
| 45 just as you saw that a stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A great God has made known to the king what shall be after this. | 46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face and paid homage to Daniel, and commanded that an offering and incense be offered up to him. | 46 അപ്പോൾ നെബൂഖദുനേസർരാജാവു സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു ദാനീയേലിനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു, അവന്നു ഒരു വഴിപാടും സൌരഭ്യവാസനയും അർപ്പിക്കേണമെന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. രാജാവു ദാനീയേലിനോടു: | 46 इतना सुनकर नबूकदनेस्सर राजा ने मुंह के बल गिरकर दानिय्थेल को दण्डवत् की, और आज्ञा दी कि उसको भेंट चढ़ाओ, और उसके साम्हने सुगन्ध वस्तु जलाओ। |
| 47 The king answered and said to Daniel, "Truly, your God is God of gods and Lord of kings, and a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery." | 47 നീ ഈ രഹസ്യം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ പ്രാപ്തനായതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവം ദൈവാധി ദൈവവും രാജാധികർത്താവും രഹസ്യങ്ങളെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവനും ആകുന്നു സത്യം എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. | 47 फिर राजा ने दानिय्थेल से कहा, सच तो यह है कि तुम लोगोंका परमेश्वर, सब ईश्वरोंका ईश्वर, राजाओं का राजा और भेदोंका खोलनेवाला है, इसलिथे तू यह भेद प्रगट कर पाया। |

| 49 Daniel made a request of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the affairs of the province of Babylon.
