| 1 King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its breadth six cubits. | 3 Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. | 11 And whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into a burning fiery furnace. | 11 ആരെങ്കിലും വീണു നമസ്കരിക്കാതെയിരുന്നാൽ അവനെ എരിയുന്ന തീച്ചൂളയിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയുമെന്നും ഒരു തീർപ്പു കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലോ. | 11 और जो कोई गिरकर दण्डवत् न करे वह धधकते हुए भट्ठे के बीच में डाल दिया जाए। |
| 12 There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. | 13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in furious rage commanded that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be brought. | 15 Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, well and good. But if you do not worship, you shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace. | 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. | 16 ശദ്രക്കും മേശക്കും അബേദ്നെഗോവും രാജാവിനോടു: നെബൂഖദുനേസരേ, ഈ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഉത്തരം പറവാൻ ആവശ്യമില്ല. | 16 शद्रक, मेशक और अबेदनगो ने राजा से कहा, हे नबूकदनेस्सर, इस विषय में तुझे उत्तर देने का हमें कुछ प्रयोजन नहीं जान पड़ता। |

| 19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was filled with fury, and the expression of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. | 24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste. He declared to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?" | 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the burning fiery furnace; he declared, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!" | 27 And the satraps, the prefects, the governors, and the king's counselors gathered together and saw that the fire had not had any power over the bodies of those men. The hair of their heads was not singed, their cloaks were not harmed, and no smell of fire had come upon them. | 27 പ്രധാനദേശാധിപതിമാരും സ്ഥാനാപതിമാരും ദേശാധിപതിമാരും രാജമന്ത്രിമാരും വന്നുകൂടി, ആ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ ദേഹത്തിന്നു തീ പിടിക്കാതെയും അവരുടെ തലമുടി കരിയാതെയും കാൽചട്ടെക്കു കേടു പറ്റാതെയും അവർക്കു തീയുടെ മണംപോലും തട്ടാതെയും ഇരുന്നതു കണ്ടു. | 27 जब अधिपति, हाकिम, गर्वनर और राजा के मन्त्रियोंने, जो इकट्ठे हुए थे, उन पुरूषोंकी ओर देखा, तब उनकी देह में आग का कुछ भी प्रभाव नहीं पाया; और उनके सिर का एक बाल भी न फुलसा, न उनके मोजे कुछ बिगड़े, न उन में जलने की कुछ गन्ध पाई गई। |
| 28 Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, and set aside the king's command, and yielded up their bodies rather than serve and worship any god except their own God. | 28 അപ്പോൾ നെബൂഖദുനേസർ കല്പിച്ചതു: ശദ്രക്കിന്റെയും മേശക്കിന്റെയും അബേദ്നെഗോവിന്റെയും ദൈവം വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ; തങ്കൽ ആശ്രയിക്കയും സ്വന്തദൈവത്തെയല്ലാതെ വേറൊരു ദൈവത്തെയും സേവിക്കയോ നമസ്കരിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം രാജകല്പനകൂടെ മറുത്തു തങ്ങളുടെ ദേഹത്തെ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്ത തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരെ അവൻ സ്വദൂതനെ അയച്ചു വിടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. | 28 नबूकदनेस्सर कहने लगा, धन्य है शद्रक, मेशक और अबेदनगो का परमेश्वर, जिस ने अपना दूत भेजकर अपके इन दासोंको इसलिथे बचाया, क्योंकि इन्होंने राजा की आज्ञा न मानकर, उसी पर भरोसा रखा, और यह सोचकर अपना शरीर भी अर्पण किया, कि हम अपके परमेश्वर को छोड़, किसी देवता की उपासना वा दण्डवत् न करेंगे। |
