| 1 Then drew near the daughters of Zelophehad the son of Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, from the clans of Manasseh the son of Joseph. | 4 Why should the name of our father be taken away from his clan because he had no son? | 5 Moses brought their case before the LORD. | 5 മോശെ അവരുടെ കാര്യം യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വെച്ചു. | 5 उनकी यह बिनती मूसा ने यहोवा को सुनाई। |
| 6 And the LORD said to Moses, | 6 യഹോവ മോശെയേൂടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: | 6 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, |
| 7 "The daughters of Zelophehad are right. You shall give them possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers and transfer the inheritance of their father to them. | 7 സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ പറയുന്നതു ശരിതന്നേ; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവർക്കു ഒരു അവകാശം കൊടുക്കേണം; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ അവകാശം അവർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം. | 7 सलोफाद की बेटियां ठीक कहती हैं; इसलिथे तू उनके चाचाओं के बीच उनको भी अवश्य ही कुछ भूमि निज भाग करके दे, अर्यात् उनके पिता का भाग उनके हाथ सौंप दे। |
| 8 And you shall speak to the people of Israel, saying, 'If a man dies and has no son, then you shall transfer his inheritance to his daughter. | 8 നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഒരുത്തൻ മകനില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ മകൾക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം. | 8 और इस्त्राएलियोंसे यह कह, कि यदि कोई मनुष्य निपुत्र मर जाए, तो उसका भाग उसकी बेटी के हाथ सौंपना। |
| 9 And if he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers. | 9 അവന്നു മകൾ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം. | 9 और यदि उसके कोई बेटी भी न हो, तो उसका भाग उसके भाइयोंको देना। |
| 10 And if he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers. | 10 അവന്നു സഹോദരന്മാർ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം. | 10 और यदि उसके भाई भी न हों, तो उसका भाग चाचाओं को देना। |
| 11 And if his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to the nearest kinsman of his clan, and he shall possess it. | 12 The LORD said to Moses, "Go up into this mountain of Abarim and see the land that I have given to the people of Israel. | 12 അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: ഈ അബാരീംമലയിൽ കയറി ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കു കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശം നോക്കുക. | 12 फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, इस अबारीम नाम पर्वत के ऊपर चढ़के उस देश को देख ले जिसे मैं ने इस्त्राएलियोंको दिया है। |
| 13 When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was, | 13 അതു കണ്ട ശേഷം നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോനെപ്പോലെ നീയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ചേരും. | 13 और जब तू उसको देख लेगा, तब अपके भाई हारून की नाई तू भी अपके लोगोंमे जा मिलेगा, |
| 14 because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin when the congregation quarreled, failing to uphold me as holy at the waters before their eyes." | 16 "Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation | 16 യഹോവയുടെ സഭ ഇടയനില്ലാത്ത ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി പോകുവാനും അവർക്കു മുമ്പായി വരുവാനും അവരെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനും | 16 यहोवा, जो सारे प्राणियोंकी आत्माओं का परमेश्वर है, वह इस मण्डली के लोगोंके ऊपर किसी पुरूष को नियुक्त कर दे, |
| 17 who shall go out before them and come in before them, who shall lead them out and bring them in, that the congregation of the LORD may not be as sheep that have no shepherd." | 17 അകത്തുകൊണ്ടു പോകുവാനും സകല ജഡത്തിന്റെയും ആത്മാക്കളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ സഭയുടെ മേൽ ഒരാളെ നിയമിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. | 17 जो उसके साम्हने आया जाया करे, और उनका निकालने और पैठानेवाला हो; जिस से यहोवा की मण्डली बिना चरवाहे की भेड़ बकरियोंके समान न रहे। |
| 18 So the LORD said to Moses, "Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him. | 18 യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതു: എന്റെ ആത്മാവുള്ള പുരുഷനായി നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ചു | 18 यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, तू नून के पुत्र यहोशू को लेकर उस पर हाथ रख; वह तो ऐसा पुरूष है जिस में मेरा आत्मा बसा है; |
| 19 Make him stand before Eleazar the priest and all the congregation, and you shall commission him in their sight. | 19 അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചു അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി അവർ കാൺകെ അവന്നു ആജ്ഞകൊടുക്ക. | 19 और उसको एलीआजर याजक के और सारी मण्डली के साम्हने खड़ा करके उनके साम्हने उसे आज्ञा दे। |
| 20 You shall invest him with some of your authority, that all the congregation of the people of Israel may obey. | 20 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സഭയെല്ലാം അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ മഹിമയിൽ ഒരംശം അവന്റെ മേൽ വെക്കേണം. | 20 और अपक्की महिमा में से कुछ उसे दे, जिस से इस्त्राएलियोंकी सारी मण्डली उसकी माना करे। |
| 21 And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before the LORD. | 22 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him. He took Joshua and made him stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole congregation, | 22 യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെ ചെയ്തു; അവൻ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ചു പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയു മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി. | 22 यहोवा की इस आज्ञा के अनुसार मूसा ने यहोशू को लेकर, एलीआजर याजक और सारी मण्डली के साम्हने खड़ा करके, |
| 23 and he laid his hands on him and commissioned him as the LORD directed through Moses. | 23 അവന്റെമേൽ കൈവെച്ചു യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപേലെ അവന്നു ആജ്ഞ കൊടുത്തു. | 23 उस पर हाथ रखे, और उसको आज्ञा दी जैसे कि यहोवा ने मूसा के द्वारा कहा या।। |
