| 2 "Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites some of the inheritance of their possession as cities for them to dwell in. And you shall give to the Levites pasturelands around the cities. | 2 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ തങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശത്തിൽനിന്നു ലേവ്യർക്കു വസിപ്പാൻ പട്ടങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കേണമെന്നു അവരോടു കല്പിക്ക; പട്ടണങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ അവയുടെ പുല്പുറവും നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണം. | 2 इस्त्राएलियोंको आज्ञा दे, कि तुम अपके अपके निज भाग की भूमि में से लेवियोंको रहने के लिथे नगर देना; और नगरोंके चारोंओर की चराइयां भी उनको देना। |
| 3 The cities shall be theirs to dwell in, and their pasturelands shall be for their cattle and for their livestock and for all their beasts. | 3 പട്ടണങ്ങൾ അവർക്കു പാർപ്പിടമായിരിക്കേണം; അവയുടെ പുല്പുറം ആടുമാടുകൾ മുതലായ സകലമൃഗസമ്പത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 3 नगर तो उनके रहने के लिथे, और चराइयां उनके गाय-बैल और भेड़-बकरी आदि, उनके सब पशुओं के लिथे होंगी। |
| 4 The pasturelands of the cities, which you shall give to the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city outward a thousand cubits all around. | 4 നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന പുല്പുറം. പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ മതിലിങ്കൽ തുടങ്ങിപുറത്തോട്ടു ചുറ്റും ആയിരം മുഴം വിസ്താരം ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 4 और नगरोंकी चराइयां, जिन्हें तुम लेवियोंको दोगे, वह एक एक नगर की शहरपनाह से बाहर चारोंओर एक एक हजार हाथ तक की हों। |
| 5 And you shall measure, outside the city, on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the middle. This shall belong to them as pastureland for their cities. | 5 പട്ടണം നടുവാക്കി അതിന്നു പുറമെ കിഴക്കോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും തെക്കോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും വടക്കോട്ടു രണ്ടായിരം മുഴവും അളക്കേണം; ഇതു അവർക്കു പട്ടണങ്ങളുടെ പുല്പുറം ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 5 और नगर के बाहर पूर्व, दक्खिन, पच्छिम, और उत्तर अलंग, दो दो हजार हाथ इस रीति से नापना कि नगर बीचोंबीच हो; लेवियोंके एक एक नगर की चराई इतनी ही भूमि की हो। |

| 7 All the cities that you give to the Levites shall be forty-eight, with their pasturelands. | 7 അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യർക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങൾ എല്ലാംകൂടെ നാല്പത്തെട്ടു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അവയും അവയുടെ പുല്പുറങ്ങളും കൊടുക്കേണം. | 7 जितने नगर तुम लेवियोंको दोगे वे सब अड़तालीस हों, और उनके साय चराइयां देना। |
| 8 And as for the cities that you shall give from the possession of the people of Israel, from the larger tribes you shall take many, and from the smaller tribes you shall take few; each, in proportion to the inheritance that it inherits, shall give of its cities to the Levites." | 8 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അവകാശത്തിൽനിന്നു ജനമേറിയവർ ഏറെയും ജനം കുറഞ്ഞവർ കുറെയും പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കേണം; ഓരോ ഗോത്രം തനിക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്ന അവകാശത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ലേവ്യർക്കു പട്ടണങ്ങളെ കൊടുക്കേണം. | 8 और जो नगर तुम इस्त्राएलियोंकी निज भूमि में से दो, वे जिनके बहुत नगर होंउन से योड़े लेकर देना; सब अपके अपके नगरोंमें से लेवियोंको अपके ही अपके भाग के अनुसार दें।। |
| 9 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, | 9 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: | 9 फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा, |
| 10 "Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan, | 10 നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്നു കനാൻദേശത്തു എത്തിയശേഷം | 10 इस्त्राएलियोंसे कह, कि जब तुम यरदन पार होकर कनान देश में पहुंचो, |
| 11 then you shall select cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer who kills any person without intent may flee there. | 11 ചില പട്ടണങ്ങൾ സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങളായി വേറുതിരിക്കേണം; അബദ്ധവശാൽ ഒരുത്തനെ കൊന്നുപോയവൻ അവിടേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകേണം. | 11 तक ऐसे नगर ठहराना जो तुम्हारे लिथे शरणनगर हों, कि जो कोई किसी को भूल से मारके खूनी ठहरा हो वह वहां भाग जाए। |
| 12 The cities shall be for you a refuge from the avenger, that the manslayer may not die until he stands before the congregation for judgment. | 12 കൊലചെയ്തവൻ സഭയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വിസ്താരത്തിന്നു നില്ക്കുംവരെ അവൻ പ്രതികാരകന്റെ കയ്യാൽ മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവ സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങൾ ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 12 वे नगर तुम्हारे निमित्त पलटा लेनेवाले से शरण लेने के काम आएंगे, कि जब तक खूनी न्याय के लिथे मण्डली के साम्हने खड़ा न हो तब तक वह न मार डाला जाए। |
| 13 And the cities that you give shall be your six cities of refuge. | 13 നിങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ആറെണ്ണം സങ്കേതനഗരം ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 13 और शरण के जो नगर तुम दोगे वे छ: हों। |
| 14 You shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and three cities in the land of Canaan, to be cities of refuge. | 14 യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ മൂന്നുപട്ടണവും കനാൻദേശത്തു മൂന്നു പട്ടണവും കൊടുക്കേണം; അവ സങ്കേതനഗരങ്ങൾ ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 14 तीन नगर तो यरदन के इस पार, और तीन कनान देश में देना; शरणनगर इतने ही रहें। |
| 15 These six cities shall be for refuge for the people of Israel, and for the stranger and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills any person without intent may flee there. | 15 അബദ്ധവശാൽ ഒരുത്തനെ കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ ഏവനും അവിടേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഈ ആറുപട്ടണം യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കും പരദേശിക്കും വന്നുപാർക്കുന്നവന്നും സങ്കേതം ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 15 थे छहोंनगर इस्त्राएलियोंके और उनके बीच रहनेवाले परदेशियोंके लिथे भी शरणस्यान ठहरें, कि जो कोई किसी को भूल से मार डाले वह वहीं भाग जाए। |
| 16 "But if he struck him down with an iron object, so that he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall be put to death. | 16 എന്നാൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ഇരുമ്പായുധംകൊണ്ടു ഒരുത്തനെ അടിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ കൊലപാതകൻ; കൊലപാതകൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 16 परन्तु यदि कोई किसी को लोहे के किसी हयियार से ऐसा मारे कि वह मर जाए, तो वह खूनी ठहरेगा; और वह खूनी अवश्य मार डाला जाए। |
| 17 And if he struck him down with a stone tool that could cause death, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall be put to death. | 17 മരിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരുത്തനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ കൊലപാതകൻ; കൊലപാതകൻ മരണ ശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 17 और यदि कोई ऐसा पत्यर हाथ में लेकर, जिस से कोई मर सकता है, किसी को मारे, और वह मर जाए, तो वह भी खूनी ठहरेगा; और वह खूनी अवश्य मार डाला जाए। |
| 18 Or if he struck him down with a wooden tool that could cause death, and he died, he is a murderer. | 19 The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death. | 19 രക്തപ്രതികാരകൻ തന്നേ കൊലപാതകനെ കൊല്ലേണം; അവനെ കണ്ടുകൂടുമ്പോൾ അവനെ കൊല്ലേണം. | 19 लोहू का पलटा लेनेवाला आप की उस खूनी को मार डाले; जब भी वह मिले तब ही वह उसे मार डाले। |
| 20 And if he pushed him out of hatred or hurled something at him, lying in wait, so that he died, | 20 ആരെങ്കിലും ദ്വേഷംനിമിത്തം ഒരുത്തനെ കുത്തുകയോ കരുതിക്കൂട്ടി അവന്റെമേൽ വല്ലതും എറികയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോയാൽ, | 20 और यदि कोई किसी को बैर से ढकेल दे, वा घात लगाकर कुछ उस पर ऐसे फेंक दे कि वह मर जाए, |
| 21 or in enmity struck him down with his hand, so that he died, then he who struck the blow shall be put to death. He is a murderer. | 22 "But if he pushed him suddenly without enmity, or hurled anything on him without lying in wait | 22 എന്നാൽ ആരെങ്കിലും ശത്രുതകൂടാതെ പെട്ടെന്നു ഒരുത്തനെ കുത്തുകയോ കരുതാതെ വല്ലതും അവന്റെ മേൽ എറിഞ്ഞുപോകയോ, | 22 परन्तु यदि कोई किसी को बिना सोचे, और बिना शत्रुता रखे ढकेल दे, वा बिना घात लगाए उस पर कुछ फेंक दे, |

| 25 And the congregation shall rescue the manslayer from the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge to which he had fled, and he shall live in it until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil. | 25 കൊലചെയ്തവനെ സഭ രക്തപ്രതികാരകന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കേണം; അവൻ ഓടിപ്പോയിരുന്ന സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിലേക്കു അവനെ മടക്കി അയക്കേണം; വിശുദ്ധതൈലത്താൽ അഭിഷിക്തനായ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണംവരെ അവൻ അവിടെ പാർക്കേണം. | 25 और मण्डली उस खूनी को लोहू के पलटा लेनेवाले के हाथ से बचाकर उस शरणनगर में जहां वह पहिले भाग गया हो लौटा दे, और जब तक पवित्र तेल से अभिषेक किया हुआ महाथाजक न मर जाए तब तक वह वहीं रहे। |
| 26 But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the boundaries of his city of refuge to which he fled, | 26 എന്നാൽ കൊലചെയ്തവൻ ഓടിപ്പോയിരുന്ന സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിന്റെ അതിർ വിട്ടു പുറത്തു വരികയും | 26 परन्तु यदि वह खूनी उस शरणस्यान के सिवाने से जिस में वह भाग गया हो बाहर निकलकर और कहीं जाए, |
| 27 and the avenger of blood finds him outside the boundaries of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of blood. | 27 അവനെ അവന്റെ സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിന്റെ അതിരിന്നു പുറത്തുവെച്ചു കണ്ടു രക്തപ്രതികാരകൻ കൊലചെയ്തവനെ കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്താൽ അവന്നു രക്തപാതകം ഇല്ല. | 27 और लोहू का पलटा लेनेवाला उसको शरणस्यान के सिवाने के बाहर कहीं पाकर मार डाले, तो वह लोहू बहाने का दोषी न ठहरे। |
| 28 For he must remain in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest, but after the death of the high priest the manslayer may return to the land of his possession. | 28 അവൻ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണംവരെ തന്റെ സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിൽ പാർക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ കൊലചെയ്തവന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണശേഷം തന്റെ അവകാശഭൂമിയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാം. | 28 क्योंकि खूनी को महाथाजक की मृत्यु तक शरणस्यान में रहना चाहिथे; और महाथाजक के मरने के पश्चात् वह अपक्की निज भूमि को लौट सकेगा। |
| 29 And these things shall be for a statute and rule for you throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. | 29 ഇതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ന്യായവിധിക്കുള്ള പ്രമാണം ആയിരിക്കേണം. | 29 तुम्हारी पीढ़ी पीढ़ी में तुम्हारे सब रहने के स्यानोंमें न्याय की यह विधि होगी। |
| 30 "If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the evidence of witnesses. But no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness. | 30 ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരുത്തനെ കൊന്നാൽ കൊലപാതകൻ സാക്ഷികളുടെ വാമൊഴിപ്രകാരം മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ നേരെ മരണശിക്ഷെക്കു ഏകസാക്ഷിയുടെ മൊഴി മതിയാകുന്നതല്ല. | 30 और जो कोई किसी मनुष्य को मार डाले वह साझियोंके कहने पर मार डाला जाए, परन्तु एक ही साझी की साझी से कोई न मार डाला जाए। |
| 31 Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death. | 31 മരണയോഗ്യനായ കൊലപാതകന്റെ ജീവന്നുവേണ്ടി നിങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പു വില വാങ്ങരുതു; അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ തന്നേ അനുഭവിക്കേണം. | 31 और जो खूनी प्राणदण्ड के योग्य ठहरे उस से प्राणदण्ड के बदले में जुरमाना न लेना; वह अवश्य मार डाला जाए। |
| 32 And you shall accept no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to dwell in the land before the death of the high priest. | 32 സങ്കേതനഗരത്തിലേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോയവൻ പുരോഹിതന്റെ മരണത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ നാട്ടിൽ മടങ്ങിവന്നു പാർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുവില വാങ്ങരുതു. | 32 और जो किसी शरणस्यान में भागा हो उसके लिथे भी इस मतलब से जुरमाना न लेना, कि वह याजक के मरने से पहिले फिर अपके देश मे रहने को लौटने पाएं। |
| 33 You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it. | 33 നിങ്ങൾ പാർക്കുന്ന ദേശം അങ്ങനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; രക്തം ദേശത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; ദേശത്തിൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞ രക്തത്തിന്നുവേണ്ടി രക്തം ചൊരിയിച്ചവന്റെ രക്തത്താൽ അല്ലാതെ ദേശത്തിന്നു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം സാദ്ധമല്ല. | 33 इसलिथे जिस देश में तुम रहोगे उसको अशुद्ध न करना; खून से तो देश अशुद्ध हो जाता है, और जिस देश में जब खून किया जाए तब केवल खूनी के लोहू बहाने ही से उस देश का प्रायश्चित्त हो सकता है। |
| 34 You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, for I the LORD dwell in the midst of the people of Israel." | 34 അതു കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പാർപ്പിടമായ ദേശം അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു. | 34 जिस देश में तुम निवास करोगे उसके बीच मै रहूंगा, उसको अशुद्ध न करना; मैं यहोवा तो इस्त्राएलियोंके बीच रहता हूं।। |
