| 1 It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. | 31 But he said emphatically, "If I must die with you, I will not deny you." | 41 And he came the third time and said to them, "Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come. | 49 Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. But let the Scriptures be fulfilled." | 49 ''' ഞാൻ ദിവസേന ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ പിടിച്ചില്ല; എങ്കിലും തിരുവെഴുത്തുകൾക്കു നിവൃത്തി വരേണ്ടിതിന്നു ഇങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.''' | 49 मैं तो हर दिन मन्दिर में तुम्हारे साय रहकर उपकेश दिया करता या, और तब तुम ने मुझे न पकड़ा: परन्तु यह इसलिथे हुआ है कि पवित्र शास्त्र की बातें पूरी हों। |

| 51 And a young man followed him, with nothing but a linen cloth about his body. And they seized him, | 51 ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരൻ വെറും ശരീരത്തിന്മേൽ പുതപ്പു പുതെച്ചും കൊണ്ടു അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു; അവർ അവനെ പിടിച്ചു. | 51 और एक जवान अपक्की नंगी देह पर चादर ओढ़े हुए उसके पीदे हो लिया; और लोगोंने उसे पकड़ा। |
| 52 but he left the linen cloth and ran away naked. | 52 അവനോ പുതപ്പു വിട്ടു നഗ്നനായി ഓടിപ്പോയി. | 52 पर वह चादर छोड़कर नंगा भाग गया।। |
| 53 And they led Jesus to the high priest. | 54 And Peter had followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. | 55 Now the chief priests and the whole Council were seeking testimony against Jesus to put him to death, but they found none. | 55 മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ന്യായാധിപസംഘം ഒക്കെയും യേശുവിനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷ്യം അന്വേഷിച്ചു കണ്ടില്ലതാനും. | 55 महाथाजक और सारी महासभा यीशु के मार डालने के लिथे उसके विरोध में गवाही की खोज में थे, पर न मिली। |
| 56 For many bore false witness against him, but their testimony did not agree. | 56 അനേകർ അവന്റെ നേരെ കള്ളസാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും സാക്ഷ്യം ഒത്തുവന്നില്ല. | 56 क्योंकि बहुतेरे उसके विरोध में फूठी गवाही दे रहे थे, पर उन की गवाही एक सी न यी। |
| 57 And some stood up and bore false witness against him, saying, | 57 ചിലർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവന്റെ നേരെ: | 57 तब कितनोंने उठकर उस पर यह फूठी गवाही दी। |
| 58 "We heard him say, 'I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another, not made with hands.'" | 58 ഞാൻ കൈപ്പണിയായ ഈ മന്ദിരം പൊളിച്ചു മൂന്നു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു കൈപ്പണിയല്ലാത്ത മറ്റൊന്നു പണിയും എന്നു ഇവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു ഞങ്ങൾ കേട്ടു എന്നു കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞു. | 58 कि हम ने इसे यह कहते सुना है कि मैं इस हाथ के बनाए हुए मन्दिर को ढ़ा दूंगा, और तीन दिन में दूसरा बनाऊंगा, जो हाथ से न बना हो। |
| 59 Yet even about this their testimony did not agree. | 59 എന്നിട്ടും അവരുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം ഒത്തുവന്നില്ല. | 59 इस पर भी उन की गवाही एक सी न निकली। |
| 60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, "Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?" | 60 മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ നടുവിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു യേശുവിനോടു: നീ ഒന്നും ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇവർ നിന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. | 60 तब महाथाजक ने बीच में खड़े होकर यीशु से पूछा; कि तू कोई उत्तर नहीं देता थे लोग तेरे विरोध में क्या गवाही देते हैं |
| 61 But he remained silent and made no answer. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?" | 61 അവനോ മിണ്ടാതെയും ഉത്തരം പറയാതെയും ഇരുന്നു. മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ പിന്നെയും അവനോടു: നീ വന്ദ്യനായവന്റെ പുത്രനായ ക്രിസ്തുവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. | 61 परन्तु वह मौन साधे रहा, और कुछ उत्तर न दिया: महाथाजक ने उस से फिर पूछा, क्या तू उस परम धन्य का पुत्र मसीह है |

| 63 And the high priest tore his garments and said, "What further witnesses do we need? | 63 അപ്പോൾ മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ വസ്ത്രം കീറി: | 63 तब महाथाजक ने अपके वस्त्र फाड़कर कहा; अब हमें गवाहोंका क्या प्रयोजन है |
| 64 You have heard his blasphemy. What is your decision?" | 65 And some began to spit on him and to cover his face and to strike him, saying to him, "Prophesy!" | 68 But he denied it, saying, "I neither know nor understand what you mean." | 69 And the servant girl saw him and began again to say to the bystanders, "This man is one of them." | 69 ആ ബാല്യക്കാരത്തി അവനെ പിന്നെയും കണ്ടു സമീപത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നവരോടു: ഇവൻ ആ കൂട്ടരിൽ ഉള്ളവൻ തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങി. അവൻ പിന്നെയും തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു. | 69 वह लौंडी उसे देखकर उन से जो पास खड़े थे, फिर कहने लगी, कि उन में से एक है। |
| 70 But again he denied it. | 72 And immediately the rooster crowed a second time. And Peter remembered how Jesus had said to him, "Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times."
